Use steel wool to the open space around stove pipe, but not store but for dishes unless well used and all lubricant is washed off. You can also use fireproof drywall and cut a small circle and drill hole the size of last stove pipe piece and slide it up over steel wool once in place Happy Holidays Lily if you’re watching God Bless and Much Love
Or not, I mean what is the point unless it's raining. That's gonna be great ventilation which is needed along with the bottom vent which would pull cool air when opened but even closed the hot air rises and no cool air is coming in tha little hole beside the stove jack and that little flow will prevent that monoxide poisoning he mentioned. Go plugging it and you are guaranteed to have monoxide in your breathing air because some is gonna escape the oven and be stuck in the tent for you to breath
You get a welders blanked cut it. Put a hoop inside it ( or the wife who can actually sew would do this ) and then you have a priest collar with a material blanket going out. If you want you can put Velcro pads to the tent and the blanket. Total security. Although I’m not sure what kind of weather you’d need to get the befit 🤣 🥶
A friend of mine showed me these tents a couple of years ago,... I was captivated. A year later I bought one, they're a bit heavy, but so sturdy. Definitely worth it.
@ 8:46 The vent next to the silicone shield material serves to give your wood stove a fresh outside air source to minimize drafts. Otherwise the fire will try to draw air from all over the tent and cold air will seep in from wherever it can.
Your dogs are beautiful. One put his head through the door looking at you but he went back out. They were both looking at you eating..hope they had dinner and hope they get to go in the tent for heat and rest. They are so cute.
Not when a flood or a tornado or a nuke destroys your house and you gotta flee into the wilderness. Or when you're the only well stocked house in your neighborhood and you look outside and see 1,000 scavengers trying to break thru.
Your well stocked house will eventually run out of supplies no matter how well stocked it is.. and if shyt does hit the fan, something like this, but lighter is a must for when you need to go out and find what you need to bring back to your empty housethat was once full becuase you burned thru alll your supplies... When s.h.t.f. your quad is gping to bring alot of attn, and your fuel supply also wont last forever, this would still be great, but something lighter would be of equal or evwn greater value in the MUST have department.
The vents are a good addition and the complement of a hot vent in the roof circulates air so excess smoke can be eliminated. I like the safety on this . Get a slow fire going you are set for the night actually.
I live outside Seattle. This place is a dystopian nightmare compared to just 5 years ago. Found your channel and I love it. I hope SHTF never happens, but everyday it looks closer and closer. I camp a lot, so even if I don't buy a product for bugging out, I really enjoy the reviews of your products. I do prep also. Keep fighting the good fight my man. Covington Prepper out.
Just sold my Seattle home and am moving farther out. Still need to keep my Seattle job though. Nice to see that there are prepares around me. Most people think I’m just nuts.
This video is packed with so much information. If I hadn't been familiar with camping and the wilderness, this would have been overwhelming. Really great stuff
Your right, these are not backpacking tents but are the best base camp, hunting, ice fishing rigs you could ask for! I have the Sputnik 3 which is the model just below the one you have. And the quality and workmanship is excellent. I also have the insulated floor and their small wood stove. I have dealt with Canadian, US and Russian distributers and you cannot get better more friendly service anywhere that will top them. I was missing a small minor part and it came in a day from Russia. If the reflectors on the guy line tabs are a problem the you can easily cover them with some camo duct tape. To protect the floor I recommend using a trap under the tent. If your stovepipe is too small for the jack I used a silicon baking sheet with a hole just smaller than the pipe on the outside stops air and rain leaks. Their stove is a bit different from the norm but out performs them all. Every tent that I have used over fifty years all had small things that I adjusted to customize to my liking and needs. This tent is the same.
Those are awesome tents, designed for the - 50 Russian winter! Their stoves are nice too. In Russia they make some awesome products - ATVs (sherp), airguns, titanium tools, some awesome custom and production knives are some I've seen. Hello to Nate and my Russian friends!
I wish i had a tent like this when we went fishing on the French river in Ontario Canada. It was in March and it was cold at night. This tent with that stove would have made it a lot more enjoyable trip.
When the SHTF and the power grid goes down, one of these set up in the house where there's no wind could let you live comfortably and certainly sleep warmly. A house within a house.
That is the coolest tent I have ever seen. Love the door aspect of it for sure. If I could add anything...it would be accessibility to undo a velcro screen to shot a gun out the windows and a dog accessibility door without opening the entire big door...just because.
As someone who lives in the desert and doesn't do more than "backyard camping," I'll never have need for something like this. That said, IT"S AMAZING. I love the quality and attention to detail!
I have the up5 with vestibule, insulated floors and wood stoves. It's been up for almost 5 months. Hungout in it during a recent hurricane and it handled it easy with 80+ mph winds.
That sounds impressive, but I lived in a standard 4000mm hydrostatic head tent for over a year, also in some very serious winds. Got to say though, would have been nice to have a palace like this one. Unfortunately, a bit heavy for my purposes.
@@dkleath8697 I just wanted to note that the dome tent handled the high winds easily. The vestibule wasn't as solid. Likely due to its aerodynamics, But it still survived the storm without any damage
Having just gone through a hurricane, I'd be worried about wind borne branches, limbs, and tree portions unexpectedly piercing a tent during a big storm.
I've been considering one of these for quite a while now...and you answered the question I had which is: Do you have to use the stove that the company suggests and supplies. I also appreciate that you gave it an honest review and it STILL comes out 9/10!
The hole between the stove Jack and the chimney pipe seems like it would be good for ventilating moisture, c Because condensation will rise up with the heat like that, and it just ensures that the inside of that part won't get too hot, on the tent. Now you have holes in the bottom and then one small gap of top you should get air flow now as well, much better airflow Because it will draw through that top hole pulling out condensation pulling fresh air in gently do the lower vent holes that are built into the tent
I have this exact same tent! This this is everything you said it is! I grabbed mine 1 yr ago. Did tons of research and went for it! Not cheap but you get what you pay for... only wished I would've grabbed the matching vestibule which is now unavailable... best tent I've ever had period! Keep up the great vids man!
it looks like barely one person could lay down and sleep in it judging by the video here, the stove and one chair seem to completely fill it up. is it really that small inside? id think for the cost of it and the weight of it it should sleep at least two men plus room for the stove and some gear. looks like a "potty tent" to me like something you would put a portable toilet in for the woman to use and to change cloths in or something, very small.
I bought this tent awhile back based on this review. I will say it is awesome. I'm a homeless man, don’t mistake homeless for broke. I travel the USA on a 5000 Ford tractor since the state of Texas took my license back in 2019. I got a lot of gear I carry from solar to med kits and many other things. Everything fits right in my carry all on my 3 point. I hide in plain site, I look just like a farmer working and never get bothered by anybody. I carry plenty of emergency food and water but most of my food comes from fishing or hunting. The camo color of this tent helps great with that too in most of the country.
My zero budget alternative will be my old canvas drop sheets with a stove jack made from my wife's baking sheets. Can't bake if we can't buy or sell anyway.
Lily showed a tent very similar to this one last year. I like it because of the floor and door especially. The fire guard is just brilliant and the windows and vents well thought out. What really makes it, though, is the skirting all around that helps secure it from wind gusts. Great tent.
Really nice presentation and tent! Thank you. The word “denier” , a measure of thread density, is pronounced “den year” to distinguish it from “a person who denies”! Ron Roscoe
I own a Bereg as well,,,do yourself an awesome favor and get the winner well stove jack to upgrade to…best thing I ever did to this tent! Have to open the vents and the use the screen door unless it’s extremely cold to regulate the interior temps…all in all, bomb proof tent!! Even more so w the winnerwell stove jack upgrade!
I served in marines, I use nothing but my poncho which now is a converted dpm huge sheet with eyelets, this has served me for the last 30 years and assume a lot more as it dousnt even have wear, I always build my own shelters and ideally ground ones or bunkers they provide a lot more heat, everything is in nature to build it and my sheet serves multiple purposes and better still 0-weight!. Love ya vids mate keep it up. 👍🏻
I had a canvas tent back in the 70's that used this technology for set up. I think it was called a pop-up tent. It blew away in a storm once and ended up in a inlet to the Missouri river and was sitting at the bottom. I thought someone had stolen the tent until the water went down the top of the tent was sticking out of the water. Tent was perfectly fine, still standing in the water..just needed a good rinse. I did some research and the one I had years ago was a Thermos pop up tent... There is a video on you tube of red one(mine was green) that shows the mechanism. I don't think the guy was doing something right as he said it was hard to set up. I was a 15 year old girl setting it up on my own with not allot of problems
GREAT VIDEO giving an overall education on what to look foe in a extended camping situation. Big thanks for reviewing all the extras and why they are important.not into prepping but know what to look for!!
Interesting to me that it’s Russian made. Doubt I could get it here in US. Looks like it’s built like the MIR Space Station. Failsafes all over. Seriously thought out, but kept relatively simple.
I use a toboggan and hike my tent in. Sometimes we do multiple day trips and can get pretty far into the bush. The bag is nice I realize why they leave a lot of extra space in the bag is because when you put away the tent sometimes there is ice or snow frozen to it and it is too difficult to remove all of it, so they left extra space for the lil bit of snow you take with you :)
Great tent. But for me the best tent for winter camping is the Snowtrekker. Can’t beat canvas in the winter time. Thanks for sharing. Take care and stay safe.
These tent are designed for the harsh winter climate in Siberia to withstand -50c to -60c temperatures. I don't think the Snowtrekker could withstand the friggit temperatures. I own this tent, and been in -40c + -60c with the windchill temperature in Northern Canada,it was +75F to 80F in the tent. This tent is also designed for a Sauna. I also have the added vestibule 6'x9' that zips up to the tent, has the inner liner with stove Jack... you can put your ATV or Skidoo inside the vestibule for protection. In my own opinion, it's way better than the Snowtrekker with all the UP2 features, designs and durability it has.
@@iceman256 If one is looking for the "ultimate" then get a boatload of Challenge ULTRA 100 material (woven super high strength UHMWPE with a bonded, waterpoof backing) and make a tent out of that. You can make bear bags (Ursack style) out of the higher denier versions like the 400 and 800. While bears could rip through the 100 version, it would take some time (course, all the stakes etc would be pulled out and it would be a moot by this point). Point being though, insanely strong, tough, and durable stuff.
Cool, but I'll stick with my 18 man, 100+lb, heavy canvas tent from the 1940's. It's been used almost every year since it was made. But now we have a homestead on land, in the middle of nowhere , my big family are good, come what may. Our two shepherds are dark and light, like yours ! Merry Xmas Canadian Prepper and family ! Stay safe, everyone ! ❤❤❤ From Northern Ontario 🇨🇦
That’s an amazing tent! Many years ago I used to camp in the snow with a regular lightweight tent and an old down sleeping bag. It was very cold but I adapted to the cold. Tents have come a long way! Thanks for showing us this tent!
We (3 friends) had a very cheap tent and bought some sleeping bags for 15 bucks. It was june or july and the temperature must've dropped to about 10-14°C. And I tell you. I never felt that cold in my entire life. (I was sleeping in underwear). It was horrible lol
@Gert Rudi What really helps is putting one of those emergency foil like thin sheets beneath your sleeping bag. I think they are about $5.00 at Walmart.
For the stove pipe hole they should provide a waterproof "rap-around" to wrap around the pipe to actually COVER that pipe hole on the outside of the tent. Maybe have it "velcroed" at the top and sides so it provides that water proofing. Also, the "hole" of this covering flap is metal, which is open ended so it can fit different sizes of pipe etc.
Yeah, if I were to buy this, I'd just go to a hardware store (or look around the house) to get a small sheet of aluminum, cut a circle to it to fit over the stove pipe while covering the tent gap in case of rain. I'm glad they chose to go bigger on the hole instead of smaller and possibly eliminate many more stove pipe sizes.
The "SCREW" type pegs thats included are for anchoring the tent ON ICE........for ice fishing and the likes.......I have the RB Hexagon 8 man, and I ABSOLUTELY love it........its AWESOME here in Michigan.....
It looks awesome. I like that they even thought of the reflective material for the tie downs. But like you said they should have a Velcro cover so someone a couple hundred yards away a night doesn’t flash your tent and give away your location.
Years in tents speaking here wow they really went to town with that tent i love that door it's always the zipper that goes first it's the runner wears out no matter how much you baby it . The zip out floor is something I have wished for so you can redo the ground your on looks like that skirt will inhibit rainwater creeping underneath guy lines use them all I would be inclined to make more from the top also the warmest air contains the most moisture since it rises it needs to be allowed to get out the top to minimize condensation wow... a stove... wow
I went to their website and was amazed at all of the tent options. Family will be making a decision soon. They're a little pricey for our budget but we're willing to make the sacrifice and spend more for a better product than what we've seen up to now. Thinking of getting the tent and the extension. That would be perfect for our family of 3 without being crowded.
Wow this tent is absolutely amazing, I wish it wasn’t so expensive and maybe a tad lighter for bug out situations where you don’t have a quad, This tent looks like it’s definitely worth the money though!
Now that's an awesome tent! They definitely went over and beyond with that. The price is still high though. I would rather buy an Army Surplus Tent though.
@@Not_Andrew_Huberman We hsd a GP medium. that thing weighed a ton , but was great, lots of room and sturdy as hell. Not something you'd bring for a weekend though unless you had 10-15 buddies to help, lol.
@@Not_Andrew_Huberman I bought 5 men "crew tents" which weigh about 70 lbs. Reall good for two comfortably but also has a stove jack. The rain tightness is only with the fly. Heavy, heavy ruberirzed material that also has IR coating. I have had one permanently set up in the woods for lost hunters for the last two years. It isn't even staked down. I bought 11 at auction for about $1200 shipping included. I also have a huge 18 x 36 for a base camp GP type. Same price about $1200, was brand new...1200 lbs in three sections so you are not lugging thst one around.
Denier (pronunciation: Den-near). Sorry, that just stood out to me. Great walk through video. That RBT is amazing, basically a "tiny house" you can take anywhere. Thanks for your informative video!!
Ordered a montana canvas wall tent. 16x20 steel conduit frame, very heavy duty weather proof 14 oz canvas Going ahead and having them make me a covered/ framed porch area as well Whole kit was $2,100.00
Same here plus the Elis canvas and an atuk also but i have a rbt tent combo. Different animals for sure but if its just me ill take the bomb shelter rbt out everytime. If you can Id recommend their stoves also, extremely effective, cuts my wood consumption over my winnerwell and dog stoves in half. I really would love to see north American manufacturers produce reverse baffle double walled stoves, they are awesone.
I like my shower curtain available in every house ,any house and soup can from recycling ! Travel lite and stay out of a fight . Concept of environment from observation is key to perhaps surviving a hostile local .Listen to see if the children are singing and thats most likely a okay place . Merry Christmas Canadian Prepper and fellow earthlings .Howie J
The price does reflect the high end ( mobile cold shelter ) But, in a cold to extreme cold weather environment I personally appreciate the ability to feel some comfort yet having the ease of assembly. I have large dogs that can damage the floors of lesser quality shelters. Thank you for your experience and knowledge and not displaying bias.
I'm not an outdoors person but this tent is amazing, if I ever did get into spending more time outdoors and camping, this would be great to have :) Thanks for the review!
I live in Florida and I find your winter survival videos absolutely fascinating! Although I'll never need anything like it, that winter tent looks baddass! Keep up the good work!
Canadian Prepper, Thank you so much for your educational video's. I have been watching you for years. I loved your video's with Survival Lilly. If not for your video's I would not know about keeping your tent safe, staying warm in winter conditions and so many other things. I have been prepping to a point in all area's, staying within my budget. I really like this tent!
Ull be grateful for that bit of open space where the pipe goes out cause it toasts inside. A very well constructed tent with all the impressive additions
The hole around the exaust pipe probably helps to allow the tent to breathe drawing air in around the hot pipe replacing the air being drawn up through the stove.
Believe it or not guys, you are all right. It's like it's over- engineered and can do a lot of things a lot of different ways and in different situations.
The small ventilation window next to the stove may help prevent condensation, but my guess is that they put it exactly next to the stove to prevent CO² build up. If CO² starts to build up while you're sleeping, there's a high chance of never waking up, it really is a silent killer. And since CO² is a "heavy" gas (heavier as O²) it will build up from the floor (making it that more dangerous for when you are sleeping). So a ventilation window placed low (and next to the stove) makes excellent sense to provide an escape for that CO², to sorta let it flow out. Over here (in Belgium), people who heat their houses with open flame heating sources (like stoves) are required by law to have a 12 (or 15 cm 🤔) wide hole, about 20 to 30 cm above the floor within 3 meters from the open flame heat source, exactly to prevent CO² build up. Anyway, great review of an evenly great tent 👍. Greetings from Belgium 🍻.
About the gap in the roof -- get a silicone baking sheet, cut a hole the exact diameter of your stove pipe, slide it on during construction. They are usually wide enough to cover the gap easily. Only problem might be they flap around in a windy condition, but after that they will lay flat.
If you want a more stiff fabric to put over it, take some fiberglass cloth and treat with waterglass--while it is still wet, cut out the sized hole. Once it is fully dry (you can put in the oven to speed that up) put a coat of silicone on the top/outside because waterglass is not waterproof. This will be much stiffer than the baking sheet and the non silicone part is far more heat resistant.
I have that Russian Bear tent and a stove. (up-2) It is warmer, less damp in the morning from the double layers, and stays warm inside with the stove. It is better sleeping on a cot in winter than the floor because heat rises. It is heavy to carry but I use a kid's sled which works great in snow and wet grass.
the Kmart dome tent I got 20 or more years ago, was the best one I have owned. My north face tent was awesome as well, just not as big, but I have to say the Kmart one lasted a long time (it outlived the northface)
My husband and I bought the Bereg-Canada 10M2 It's a pretty roomy tent and we bought it to live in. It's definitely not a tent for backpacking for a weekend and we have the stove. I'm glad we bought it earlier in 2021 it's gone up by $461.14 Canadian Dollars. With the stove, tent and ground liner we are pretty set up as far as living accommodations if need be.The people are nice also.
NOT if you buy it for the camouflage colouring. I've got 3, within 2 weeks they had turned bright pink and orange. Totally opposite of camouflage. I got a very poor response when I reported the problem, they talked about "fading". The tents hadn't been in the sun, only in shaded areas, and mainly in the rain. Definitely not sun faded. Wasted a lot of money for tents that were no longer fit for purpose within a couple of weeks.
It’s like dual survival show, there was a guy that was strictly mission oriented. The other was long term and wasn’t concerned about rescue. There is a group of people, myself included that are in the middle.
That is a really great tent! They just about thought of everything!😁👍🏼. Thanks Canadian Prepper for showing us all the extreme survival gear that can truly save lives! Your channel is Awesome!
Hi I'm Kaori I really love the tent, and everything you showed, and to be prepared, and have your family with you,I wish it had bedrooms for your whole family.!
I see from some other comments that canvas is preferred by many. I’ve had many canvas outfitters tents. No condensation issues, but with a floor and poles = heavy. I prefer denier material for its lighter weight but believe me, condensation is a problem.
Denier is just a measurement of thickness of fibres. There isn't such a thing as denier material. And a secondary fyi, the guy in the video pronounces it completely wrong.
I got a USMC 2 man tent new from a guy who had some from Iraq, camo one side, desert tan the other. Light weight, spare parts, it was great. Lived in for 3 years, rain, snow, hail, it was awesome, and under $100 on ebay. Highly recommend.
Looks great, camouflage too, easy assemble, oven proof hot tent. I'm impressed and I would buy one, still might. I've gone onto website and saved homepage. Delivery to UK a bit steep at 185USD, but with your discount it shaves 90£ off, so I'm still interested. Thank you for sharing. Great Video too.
I'm in the UK, and as well as the cost of the tents and shipping, I got stung for £295 per tent at customs. I bought three...! Also, I have to say that they are not worth the money if the camouflage colouring is important to you. After a little over a week in a shaded area, with a lot of rain, the colours had completely changed to a really horrible bright pink and orange camo pattern. Completely the opposite of what I had wanted, and now the one that is still semi permanently erected sticks out like the proverbial "sore thumb". No hiding it, even with camo netting. On the plus side though, they have stood up fantastically well in all the rain, winds, and exceptional storms we've had recently.
@@geraldinegregory.1803 Thank you for sharing. Ouch, you were stung bad. Pink? Blimey. Thank you for the review and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I would bet an insulated ice shack would blow this out of the water at half the price. Although you would have to add the stove pipe hole. I do appreciate checking out new things though 👍
Yes, it would. Lol And they will also take a tent stove. The tent he's showing is WAY too expensive for the regular Joe, but an ice tent works just as well, at a lot less money, and you can get a smaller stove for them, and adjust things how you want them. You can even build an easy bushcraft shelter with insulated tarps, branches, etc, and use a small stove in them, cook, and stay perfectly warm. There's lots of channels demonstrating those shelters with a small military or tent stove, and they're very warm and cozy. Teepee tents are also great, and CAN be made from the tarps and poles, OR bought online, and they also take a stove, and stove sizes can vary, depending on the size of the Teepee. They also have different methods of creating ventilation for warmer weather, AND during the winter when using a stove inside. People need to realize that TH-camrs who demonstrate these items like this tent on their channels, usually get them for free, and are often paid for boosting the business of the company.
@@dubiasmeridius9023 You can use a small military or tent stove in those ice shelters, and stay warm enough, AND cook in them. Lol Also, Teepee tents work very well, are for all year long, and have good ventilation. They DO work.
There’s no way I’m watching an 18 minute video about a tent. Uhm, I’m speechless. I just watched the whole video and now I want to buy one of these tents lol. I like that little fireplace that’s neat. I didn’t know such a thing existed.
I only tried to sleep in a tent once in my life, got cold and slept in my car. A tent like that definitely would had been better than my $30 Walmart tent
You can sleep well if made right and a good bedding. I take a nice pad and absolutely sleep well. I also have an SUV put down seats and its flat. Put bedding down. I sleep so amazing. I have two dogs I put their beds in front and I cover my bags in floor board on one side put their bedding on top of bags so they more room. I have one pit boxer mix and one collie mix. They love traveling and sleep just perfect. Being able to adapt to anything is key in life period. Never worried about our nation till recently. But for a woman I guess I am better prepared than many. I can't imagine some ladies ever being able to do w out the modern comforts of life. I love the outdoors. So giving up my hair nails done is just fine w me. Best wishes t all. Stay smart and safe. And never stop moving forward.
@@jamiefaizfahmy9740 I think my mistake was taking a air mattress and only blankets, not a sleeping bag. All my heat just disappeared in the cold air in that mattress. I had my dogs with me also, a poodle mix and a border collie. the poodle mix her bed got wet from condensation and she was shivering too. It was spring on a Texas beach though so it was probably only in the 60s definitely not colder than 50F
Love the video, this is essentially the tent I've always dreamed of. I'm a bit more of a longhouse/long tent shape more than an hexagonal of octagon shape, but the stove port, ventilation, and door are all incredibly thought out features. $1500 is pretty steep but understandable. What is most incredible to me is that you ventured out into the wilderness with everything except a spork!
Winter conditions are hard on tent material. Just packing up a frozen tent is rough treatment. So I am willing to have a heavier material. It still looks manageable and would fit on a toboggan.
14:47 thats not a bad thing, since the more you create heated air, the more heat will escape you end you end up with a constant flow that will renovate the air quality , by creating negative pressure in every intake and small aperture...
Fantastic tent and great review! I noticed that the camo scheme is really excellent ... it would blend in pretty much in any environment from desert to rainforest to snow.
Great content on this tent and I dig your channel. Looks like a great 4 season tent with the ability to add a wood stove for cooking and as a heat source. For me the weight and overall packed size is important as I usually camp from my Jeep 2 door TJ and room is precious. Wish you a Merry Christmas.

Use steel wool to the open space around stove pipe, but not store but for dishes unless well used and all lubricant is washed off.
You can also use fireproof drywall and cut a small circle and drill hole the size of last stove pipe piece and slide it up over steel wool once in place

Mannnn equipment is descent but need a car to store it i cant carry all that stuff on foot shoot lol smh
Plug that stove jack hole with a rolled strip of carbon felt ("welder's blanket"). Cheap, light, fireproof.
For all his talk about that stove pipe hole being a source of heat loss, he was toasty in that tent after burning only half a log. *lol*
Stick some steel wool in the gap.
Or forge insulation blanket material. Pretty cheap, any blacksmith supply would have it. Fluffs up and is light. Easily stored in the camp stove bag
You get a welders blanked cut it. Put a hoop inside it ( or the wife who can actually sew would do this ) and then you have a priest collar with a material blanket going out.

I have the 8 man version with the stove, so it weights a lot more for sure. I use it as a base camp tent and in montana it's great to have.
How is it called? Maybe you can post a link? I cant find the 8 man version.
Found it by myself, thank you!

@@necromorph1109 I guess it depends on which version you are ordering. Also if you want to have the isolated ground, or not.

Well done!!
So this channel uses the word Apocalypse, huh? Yeah, that's a Red-Flag.
@@loturzelrestaurant I'm pretty sure using the word apocalypse is a purple flag instead of a red flag 🚩
Great idea
That is the coolest tent I have ever seen. Love the door aspect of it for sure. If I could add anything...it would be accessibility to undo a velcro screen to shot a gun out the windows and a dog accessibility door without opening the entire big door...just because.
As someone who lives in the desert and doesn't do more than "backyard camping," I'll never have need for something like this. That said, IT"S AMAZING. I love the quality and attention to detail!
I bought a portable air conditioner lol and it gets down right cold lol.
Thanks for your comment > answered my question about wind-worthiness.
The hole between the stove Jack and the chimney pipe seems like it would be good for ventilating moisture, c
Because condensation will rise up with the heat like that, and it just ensures that the inside of that part won't get too hot, on the tent.
@@AsTheWheelsTurn Fits three people yeah? But it's not for weekend camping so it's tight quarters.

When the Apocalypse hits, you're going to need more than a tent.. Dig deep, the deeper the better.
As someone who is homeless I appreciate the kept it simple as possible, all the dome tents do is break, no matter what.
Great tent.
who is ever going to be setting this up? This is an overkill.
When I was a kid my dad used army tents that we lived in. He would haul them up the mountain by using mules along with all the gear. He built fences.
My step dad was a guide in Bitter root valley in Montana. He usee military tents.
Almost the same thing, but this lad is sponsored and does it in his yard.

For tent grounding pegs, I use12 inch steel nails. You don't mind losing those so much since you can easily get a box at the hardware store.
Great tent. But for me the best tent for winter camping is the Snowtrekker. Can’t beat canvas in the winter time. Thanks for sharing. Take care and stay safe.
For me the Finnish Savotta Hawu
For me my bat cave

Many years ago I used to camp in the snow with a regular lightweight tent and an old down sleeping bag. It was very cold but I adapted to the cold. Tents have come a long way! Thanks for showing us this tent!
It should be, the price starts at $1000.
@@trolltimateoffender2134 Yikes 😬!
I love that stove jack. Looks like a great tent. I recently got a 13' canvas bell tent.
Any hvac supplier should have cone collars Interior and exterior.
The "SCREW" type pegs thats included are for anchoring the tent ON ICE........for ice fishing and the likes.......I have the RB Hexagon 8 man, and I ABSOLUTELY love it........its AWESOME here in Michigan.....
That is a fine tent, need to do a video in a major storm snow and wind, thunder storms with rain to see how waterproof it is.
A cheap plastic sled works great for packing in with supplies.
Best tent by far! I had some sticker shock but I got over that the first time I set it up! Great review!

The zip out floor is something I have wished for so you can redo the ground your on looks like that skirt will inhibit rainwater creeping underneath guy lines use them all I would be inclined to make more from the top also the warmest air contains the most moisture since it rises it needs to be allowed to get out the top to minimize condensation wow... a stove... wow
Very nice tent love the ease of putting it up and especially the fact that you don't need two people to help you
I went to their website and was amazed at all of the tent options. Family will be making a decision soon. They're a little pricey for our budget but we're willing to make the sacrifice and spend more for a better product than what we've seen up to now. Thinking of getting the tent and the extension. That would be perfect for our family of 3 without being crowded.
Remember to get a ground pad from them to go with it.
Good luck with that, the Russian Bear isn’t Russian and the customer service stinks. Plus the tent is now $2,000.
Wow this tent is absolutely amazing, I wish it wasn’t so expensive and maybe a tad lighter for bug out situations where you don’t have a quad, This tent looks like it’s definitely worth the money though!

Nah he just isnt using stove and pipe they recommend
This tent has a small ventilation window which is supposed to be used to "feed" the stove with air
Believe it or not guys, you are all right.
It's like it's over- engineered and can do a lot of things a lot of different ways and in different situations.
Water would be a major issue during rain. Need to have that gap filled.
Or aluminum foil.
Or just buy the stove and pipe that comes with the tent. I'm sure it fits properly
i was going to suggest a bit of rock wool as it is pretty much designed for this use.
And I smiled when you talked about the Winnerwell stove because I have the medium size one and several of the accessories!😁

Thank you sir for your many video. Really appreciated!
I got a USMC 2 man tent new from a guy who had some from Iraq, camo one side, desert tan the other. Light weight, spare parts, it was great. Lived in for 3 years, rain, snow, hail, it was awesome, and under $100 on ebay. Highly recommend.

Bet it wouldn't. Just based on watching reviews on US made portable fish houses people slept in over night vs this.
Yes, it would. Lol
And they will also take a tent stove.

@@busybunnyhomestead air mattresses are cold for sure. And getting wet is no fun. Even in Arizona. Best wishes. And stay smart and safe.
@@ginxxxxx what do you mean?
Merry Christmas! 🎄
I have been wanting this tent for a long time. In my opinion its a moveable cabin.😊 Thanks for the video. 😊❤😊
LOOKS YOUR TENT COSY & SAFE! Congrats!!!!
Great video!
