Great work Remy. Plenty of detail and well explained. I'm hiring a Ninja V for a day event. I'm recording (Sony A7III) in S-log2 which is obviously flat. But I need to project the live recording on a screen behind the speaker for the bigger audience. Can it project an adjusted gamma display and record s-log simultaneously?
As far as I know, yes. You can load LUTs onto it which I don't think effect the recording at all and then of course use the HDMI out to send the image to another display. I'm not 100% sure though, you'd have to double check
Great news as well, Atomos has confirmed a continuing commitment to the original Ninja V with the release of AtomOS11 for the Ninja V and V+. Base OS11 is free and there is an "OS11 Feature pack" that can be purchased that brings the newer features to the existing hardware.
@@KennethGreenCMP I have looked into it, and I could be wrong, but I don't think the Smallrig cage has mounting points on the sides for vertical mounting, which is the main thing I would want the option to do
Wow. Outstanding and informative video. Thanks.

Great video
Get a Small Rig cage for the camera. It will solve the mounting problem.
A cage for the camera, that's something I already have for both my cameras. Do you mean a cage for the monitor?
@@itmeremy yes a cage for the monitor.

@itmeremy at the bottom below the remote input there is one.
@@KennethGreenCMP oh ok, good to know. Thank you
