      Hi! I’m a senior newbie here and based on comments, I’ve found the right cookie recipes for my rolled oats! As a child I loved my sweet Polish mom’s cookies. Every Thursday she baked cookies, pies, and coffee cakes (during holidays, poppyseed kolaches). Her ‘PSIPKA’ (a homemade topping) on the coffee cakes had no rival!
      I stepped away from sugary desserts and gluten years ago and feel great. Now that I have time to bake I am excited to try these!

      Is stevia safe? I have had severe acne problem which is now less severe after taking treatment for rosaceae. I used stevia for 2/3 days then got some acne and got afraid. Then I looked up in the internet and found some side effect of stevia. So now I am unsure whether to finish the rest of the stevia I have or not.

      I've had digestive issues, too. One easy cookie recipe that doesn't tastes like it's fake is the following:
      1 1/4 Cups - almond flour
      1/3 cup - cornstarch or arrowroot powder (I use cornstarch)
      2 teaspoons - baking powder
      1/4 teaspoon - salt
      1 1/2 tablespoons - melted butter (vegan butter works as well)
      2 teaspoons - vanilla or almond extract (I like using the almond for cookies and the vanilla for making crust)
      1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons - maple syrup (or 1/2 cup of sugar)
      1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees and prepare either 9-inch pie pan or baking sheet for being non-stick (i.e. spray pan with non-stick spray of choice and line sheet with non-stick cover of choice if not already a non-stick pan).
      2. Pour flour, cornstarch/arrowroot, baking powder, salt into a bowl. Mix all together until well incorporated. If using granulated sugar, you would incorporate it in this step. If adding other spices like cinnamon, ginger, etc., you'd add it here, too.
      3. Add melted butter, then mix. Add extract, then mix. Add syrup, then mix. Batter should start to bead, crumble, and hold together when pinched once everything is mixed. If you used sugar instead of syrup, you will need to add about a tablespoon or so of water to start to have the batter crumble.
      4. Spoon about a tablespoon of batter into your hand and ball up and place on baking sheet. Press down slightly, but know that the cookies may spread a bit when baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool until firm (about 10-15 minutes). Enjoy!
      This is super versatile. I use this as the base for chocolate cookies, oatmeal cookies, whatever! Hope you start getting better. 😊

    Hello! I am just seeing your recipes for the first time and I love the simplicity as well as the apparent health benefits of your recipes. Question, I love crunchy cookies, can I simply spread them out thinner or is there another way to make them crunchy?

    • @Greenhealthycooking
      @Greenhealthycooking  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, absolutely. Make them thinner and bake them a few minutes longer and they should crunch up nicely.

    obviously you have a lot of views for this video but why are people not raving more in the comments, these are 3 wonderful varieties! You're also obviously highly intelligent like me because you've included ground flax, LOL (I add flax in several of my recipe videos as well),

      @bikinggal1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@febamaryvarghese1937 So I didn't have coconut so used peanut butter but the result was really good....my room mate has already eaten half! I love to bake , she loves to eat...so it's a win win!! PS. I never use eggs and the flax seed alternative is perfect. Chis seeds also work.

    2 Tbs starch mixed with 2 Tbs water are a great substitute for 1 egg in these awesome recipes.
    Flaxegg is not my choice here.
