I've been making these for 20 years. I love to put my oats in a blender and blend them up a little bit so it's kind of half oat flour and oatmeal. That way you don't feel like you're eating animal feed. They are a totally healthy cookie and I sometimes even add 1/3 cup carob powder in them and two tablespoons of date sugar, because the carob powder is a little bit bitter. Freakin AWESOME 😎
I made these and mixed together a little bit of coconut sugar, vanilla bean powder and cinnamon into the oats and bananas and chocolate chips. Very yummy!

These are so good! & Now I have a use for those too ripe banana. This is so easy to make, glad I saw this video:) I add chopped walnuts, can't say enough good things about this recipe. Thank you!!
as a collage student I can say these are super easy to make! I made them with raisins and nuts, and they turned out great, if a bit soft at first, so they had to cool down to get crispy-er and stay in shape. they are truly a very healthy and easy breakfast choice, and I want to try to make cereal bars by maybe adding honey or syrup to the mix, since it is really simple to make. thank you for the recipe! :)
Gotta make these!!! In the meantime I used the same exact concept that you used for this recipe but converted them to oatmeal/vegetable burger. You can use any cooked veggie you like just as long as when they are mashed they have the same consistency as the mashed bananas in this recipe. I used what I had on hand - mashed fava beans mixed with mashed zucchini. To this I added the 1 1/2 cups of dry oatmeal (I used rolled oats only). Spices: 1 tablespoon of soy sauce plus onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, & McCormick's Italian Seasoning to taste. Mix well, form the burgers and bake them as you bake your cookies. I also tried them directly in an oiled skillet on the stove top which I liked better . I'm new to your channel so I'm not sure if you follow any dietary restrictions that would prevent you from using some of the ingredients I used, but they ended up tasting very good! Just thought I'd share!
I didn't realize that I got some replies to my message - funny how TH-cam sometimes does not alert me! I just prepared these burgers yesterday and froze them! This time my veggie of choice was an eggplant (I peeled, chopped and microwaved it). People who don't want to cook the veggies can place them in a food processor and mash them that way. As long as you have a thickish mash of vegetables to which you add the oatmeal. Did any of you try this? If so, how did they turn out?
I have a similar recipe. I skip the chocolate chips because I'm not a chocolate fan, but I use unsweetened applesauce to moisten things up a bit since the mix is pretty dry. Very hearty cookie.

I have been making these cookies for the past few months and my family love them. I love the fact that it only requires three ingredients. Thank you so much for making the video.
I am making a batch of these right now. I tweaked it. I used 1 banana, 1 grated apple (with skin), cinnamon, apple pie spice, a dash of almond extract, a small mix of chopped almonds, pecans and walnuts (which are good for my triglycerides), and, of course, oatmeal. Can't wait to try one!
Thanks for the additional tips! I just have rolled oats at the moment, so I'll let them sit for a half hour or so & let them absorb some extra moisture.
Thanks so much for this simple yet tasty recipe. I was actually looking for a way to use up some ripe bananas. I just made banana pancakes for dinner. I'll be making these cookies tonight. I have some peanut butter chips & may do some with them added in to see how it comes out-no peanut allergies in my home.

This helped me increase my breast milk and is cheaper than buying the oatmeal cookies at the store that cost so much!!! Edit: I added chopped almond. Almond also help with milk products Foods like garlic 🧄, spinach, carrots help as well. I know this is TMI but fiber (the oatmeal) helps with constipation that occurs for six months after baby.
racketman2u -?????? What! Nothing, it’s not like male are in the middle of milk production. Females aren’t either. It activates after labor. So, to answer your question. Nothing, maybe just a good trip to the toliet. Oatmeal has many benefial traits and it has lots of fiber. Fiber helps poop 💩

That’s a great idea, thx!
Candace Rachel soak in what? may I ask
What is a carob powder?
@@Siriuslyyy it's an alternative to cocoa powder 😉
Definitely doing half ground oatmeal and half regular oatmeal after reading this. Not sure why this chica slackin!
I made it with the raisins I didn’t have Chocolate chip and my Autistic son 💕 Loves them thank you for sharing 🥰💕💕💕
I made this but I added walnuts and it's sooo good.. thank you so much for sharing your recipe.. 😊
I made these and mixed together a little bit of coconut sugar, vanilla bean powder and cinnamon into the oats and bananas and chocolate chips. Very yummy!
I have these in the oven right now- I've never made cookies so fast and effortlessly. I can't wait to try them!
how were they?
I like the way you explain things and do things and you’re very thorough. Love vegan recipes they are my favorite
I am amazed how easy and great these tasted! Best of all they’re so healthy with no added sweetener or sugar! These are the best clean cookies I ever made. I love that following the recipe was so easy and I was able to make 11 instead of the 12. Trust me I burn everything and it never turns out the way the recipe is except for this one! Great video thank you so much for sharing
Will have to try! Thank you.
Tried this! Simple, guilt free, and satisfying 🙂
Fruit n nuts instead of the chocolate chips sounds delicious. Thx for sharing.
My favorite
Just made these...added coconut, raisins and cinnamon...they are so yummy 🤗...also made the no baked energy balls...
Deneen Green pls how to do the no bake ? Ain’t got no oven😄
Love this recipe! It's perfect in the summer with some yogurt on top. I just stick them in the freezer for a little to firm up the yogurt, and it's a healthy icing alternative.
I subscribed! I like the way you explain the options, the differences in ingredients and the way you film as well.
We made these today in our homeschool class. My kids fell in love! Thank you for sharing, god bless you ♥️✨
“Use what you have”!! YESS LOVE THAT
I make these ones literally everyday it’s my FAVORITE recipe ever so EASY and DELICIOUS I love it thank u so much sharing this fabulous recipe love uuu🤍
These are so good! & Now I have a use for those too ripe banana. This is so easy to make, glad I saw this video:) I add chopped walnuts, can't say enough good things about this recipe. Thank you!!
Thank you for sharing this easy recipe. No sugar added.
as a collage student I can say these are super easy to make!
I make a similar recipe without the chocolate, I replace it with little bit of peanutbutter and some cinnamon so good.
Great idea! But when you say burger do you mean a bun or a patty?
@@yanabanana5086 vegetable burger as in replacing the meat patty with a vegetable patty...
Thanks I've been thinking about doing this myself!
What an interesting take, turning them savoury! Thank you for the idea 🤗
It looks delicious and very healthy. The less ingredients the better. I love it!
Very good! I let the mixture of banana & oats overnight in refrigerator!! Yum!
This is the Oatmeal cookie recipe that I was looking for! Simple and easy! The only recipe I could find has like, 67 ingredients in them and was a process, geez. My first batch is in the oven right now and I can already tell that they will be delicious and awesome. Thank you, young Lady!
Thank you for this recipe. I just made these cookies and Omg!! These cookies are so delicious. I added some vanilla flavor, pinch of salt, and maple syrup. Also drizzle the top with an hazelnut chocolate spread. It turn out great!!
As a real sweets lover and a self proclaimed Cookie Monster I am so happy I found this video! I can eat about 5 of these in one sitting and not feel guilty. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
Just put these in the oven. Mine were made with cranberries, cinnamon and vanilla. Thanks for helping me use up 2 ripe bananas. I really like your channel 😊
I’m not one to measure. If I had to guess 1 tsp
Just made these, they rock. Added a little peanut butter too. So good
I have been making these cookies for the past few months and my family love them. I love the fact that it only requires three ingredients. Thank you so much for making the video.
Absolutely my favorite, I usually do it the healthy style using banana, cup oats, cinnamon, and raisins.
@@ElizaDolittle how were they I also want to try ur recipe
Raisins are loaded with sugar, so maybe try walnuts instead.
What can u use instead if sugary chocolate chips?
@@nikkison973 Lily's brand chocolate uses a natural sugar alternative which is low glycemic.
I just made these, they are absolutely delicious! I was worried they would be too 'bananary' haha. I added some chopped walnuts and as I didn't have choc chips I cut up some plain chocolate bar. 100% recommend making these I was soo pleased with them :) Thank you
JUST MADE THESE AND THEY ARE AMAZING! I eyeballed in cinnamon, vanilla, and ground flax seed to add my own touch and they turned out fantastic:)
I already know this recipe from another channel and have tried it myself. It's really delicious and easy plus it's perfect for getting rid of overripe bananas
I made this and it was finished within 2 hours. My 3 boys (and my husband) loved it! Now I don’t have to freeze my browning bananas thinking that some day I will make banana bread! LOL
THANK YOU !!
I did this recepie and I added a little cinnamon and a splash of vanilla and maple syrup it is awesome breakfast cookies..♡
Thanks
Just made some. Really simple and with a little honey, really delicious!
I just put my cookies in the oven however I used dark dark semisweet chocolate chips with cacao, coconut cacao, oatmeal with flax 🤪 bran oats 😜 & muesli power oats. I didn’t do cookies I made mines as brownies so let’s see how they turn out 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Oooo. I might try that :o
Blessed Indee
Thank you for explaining about the oats. I always thought we couldn't use the other when the ingredient asked for a specific one
I have made them, my husband and my family loved them. Thank you for sharing this. I like easy , healthy, affordable and quick.
Just made them and they are delicious, very chewy and gooey. Thank you for the recipe ❤️
I tried these with almonds instead of chocolate and they’re delicious
Might have to do your recipe as I am diabetic, extra sugar is a no...yet I love chocolate....I might add cinnamon and almonds...
i was thinking about doing that cuz i don’t have chocolate chips so tyyy
I am making them as we speak! I took a different twist and added; Cinnamon, Pumpkin Spice, 2 tb of pumpkin puree!! Now they are called Fall dark chocolate Cookies:-))) Oh also instead of rolled oats I used Quinoa Flakes, so that makes them a Super Food Cookie!!
How did they turn out with quinoa flakes? I have two packets of those and was thinking on what to do with them.
They came out softer than, if you used oats. Overall not bad, I ate them all LOL I think much healthier , plus I am trying a grain free eating plan, and this does the trick.
Also, I would not use the pumpkin, because that might be why they came out too soft.
@@divarose2017 Thanks for answering! I think I'll try the banana version or a version with a little less pumpkin and eat all too, haha. Trying to avoid wheat myself and been looking for stuff to do the trick, too.
I started the Grain free about 3 weeks ago, first week I lost 4 lbs, second week 5 lbs, following week I did not gain or lose and I know why. to many sausage breakfast sandwiches, so the following week I only had it once during the week and lost 2 lbs that week:-))) I truly believe I am on the right track for me.
This is my kind of cooking, easy and fast. I’m a 76 year old widower and I do like to cook and bake especially things with few ingredients. Got to try these. Great video I especially like your energy!!! 😃
I just made these today! They are fabulous, thank you, thank you. Now I'm going to try your apple, oatmeal muffins. I'll tell you what I think about them also. Great job
Just did this, LOVE it! So easy and turned out really good, I was surprised! Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for.
This helped me increase my breast milk and is cheaper than buying the oatmeal cookies at the store that cost so much!!!
Edit: I added chopped almond. Almond also help with milk products
Foods like garlic 🧄, spinach, carrots help as well.
I know this is TMI but fiber (the oatmeal) helps with constipation that occurs for six months after baby.
Smart!
holy shit! what happens if guys eat them?? just asking for a friend.
racketman2u -?????? What! Nothing, it’s not like male are in the middle of milk production. Females aren’t either. It activates after labor. So, to answer your question. Nothing, maybe just a good trip to the toliet. Oatmeal has many benefial traits and it has lots of fiber. Fiber helps poop 💩
Thanku for this msg 😟I was literally searching for some tricks to increase my b milk now I’m gonna make them n see the results thanku ❤️
mounika orakala - I still make this cookies religiously
I just tried this. It's good 😊 i added cranberries and nuts.
Another great recommendation. I just need someone to make them for me.
I just made them!! Wow they are so good and perfect for on the go. Thank you for helping me be as healthy as I can!!
Yay!! Anytime. Enjoy them!!
I just baked these and I am very pleased with the results. For me, they will be a great guilt-free snack. They are completely soft, and are not crumbly, which surprised me. They hold together really well. I am happy I found this recipe, and will make it many times. Next time I am going to skip the chocolate chips and add walnuts and raisins. I will experiment with this recipe for a while. I am thinking coconut would be good with these, too. Thank you for posting this recipe. I am editing this comment to say that I got 9 good-sized cookies out of this batch.
have u tried making it with an egg? just 2 see d difference?
These are delicious this is my second time making them! Going to add a little flaxmeal to make them even healthier! TFS! :-)
Hiii, I have made these like 50 times already, everytime they turn out to be amazing. What a perfect recipe. My dad is a diabetic patient it's so good for him too.... I make them.for him as an evening snack with tea. Explained very well.love it
Use Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate bits because they are softer, tastier, and do not have high fructose corn syrup.
Ghirardellib 60% chocolate chips!
I was thinking of using dark chocolate. Will it be too bitter?
I just made mine. I totally skipped the raisins, pb, nuts, dark chocolate, vanilla extract, I kept it simple white cocaine!!!!
They give me so much energy.
Lol
Same
😂😂😂🙌🏼
😂
Arnie I bet when you use cocaine it did give you energy , that is something I wouldn't use 🤗😀
I did this but I do not eat chocolate so I replaced it with almond, and it was very tasty, thank you so much for sharing your recipes with us
Wrong. They're good only with the chocolate chips.
Jon Hohensee Everyone has their own choice.
@@saniagaming6820 - Nope. Chocolate chips.

I just made some but I added a little flour, and stevia, raisins , instant oatmeal, vanilla cinnamon and they are great.
