My Mom and I made all the different energy balls. Wow, talk about delicious. Instead of lemon, I used orange with the cranberries they were really tasty. Thank you so much for making healthy snacks. 😊
I will make it easuer for all of you. Instead of laborious and messy processof rolli g the balls.. Get silicone icecubes tray... Rub COCONUT OIL INSIDE EACH OF THE CELLS... Pack with the mixture...level. Cool down or freeze. When wanted.. Release "snack cubes" from the ice cube tray and.. Voila!😅
I’m sharing this with my daughter in the military. She always too tired or has little time to cook. I think these are good for her to take to work when she misses a meal
They're a great time saver for prepping in advance, that's for sure! I'm sure your daughter will love them - thanks for sharing this with her and thanks for watching!
This will make her problem worse! She needs to change her diet to a fat based diet (low carb high fat). Fat is long term fuel for our bodies. Like a log on the fire, while carbs is like trying to keep the fire going by throwing paper on it.
Good idea! I made the base oats recipe before. It's OK, but I was feeling g like I was eating raw oats. Toasting them may help! (Just adds an extra step).
A comprehensive content that is fast & easy to watch and followed - thanks for sharing! My family enjoys these in the afternoon and pre & post work out for a boost of energy!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and found it easy to follow along - and thanks for trying the recipes! It's always so great to hear when others enjoy them with their families! 😀
PS: If you are pre diabetic, or type 2, figs are a better choice than dates. Worth looking into. Figs supposedly have an enzyme that helps control blood sugar., and cholesterol.
If you’re (pre)diabetic NO carbs is a better choice then any carbs. And 75% of cholesterol is made by your body and it is a super important substance in many physiological processes.
I just created a new folder to save your recipes in. I was won over by this one after first viewing your egg cups. You're clear and don't spend too much time on unnecessary steps. What I appreciate most of all are the storage tips!! Thx!
That's awesome to hear! Thanks so much for the kind feedback, I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and the way they're presented (as well as the yummy recipes!). Thanks for watching, I appreciate the support!
Thank you for these wonderful no-bake energy ball recipes! These energy balls will be excellent to take on-the-go, or for any outdoor adventures. Cheers!
Thank you for sharing ❤ When I don't feel like rolling these into balls, I just press the mixture into lined with parchment paper square or rectangular pan or container. Smooth with back of the spoon. Let set in fridge for at least an hour and then cut with sharp knife to smaller squares or whatever shapes you want. For kids may even use small cookie cutters for fun
That's a great way to make them as well! I have a video on No-Bake Oat Bars that follow a similar process 😀 Turns out great every time! Thanks for sharing and for watching!
The oatmeal ones are the ones I’d use. They would be a great snack for my Sunday school class. Thank you for sharing. The date recipes do sound good. Just easier for me to use the oatmeal recipe.
Thanks so much for watching! I hope you enjoy giving them a try - they're great little snacks for sure, and the oat-based method is so quick and easy to make 😀
Yeah, i tried both. oatmeal+PB is a lot fatter and higher calories but its pretty much dump everything in a bowl and mix it then shape it into w.e. you want. Although, imho, its worth the effort to do the dates recipe, as i definitely enjoyed it more. And you only need to do it once a week or if you do bigger batch or bigger sized balls just freeze them, this is definitely something ill be making for a while unless i get bored, really great addition to my overnight oats in the morning.
I've been making the #4 every week. As much as I love the recipe itself, I REALLY love that you include the weight for the ingredients as well as volume. So much easier to put the mixing bowl on the scale and just zero before each ingredient. Less mess as well.
I just made the lemon energy balls. The taste was similar to lemon bars without the butter and sugar. Just delicious and straight from plants. I'm sure I'll make the other energy balls recipes. I'm so grateful to you for posting. New subscriber now. : )
I recently made my first energy balls from dry rasins and cranberries mixed with some oats and nuts, there were really good, sweet and I didn't eat sweets for a week when I was snacking on them! I'll be using these recipes :)
I'm insulin resistant & my dietician suggested recipes like this for snacks. I asked how many I could consume a day... & She said 2, maybe 3 if I haven't had much else to eat that day!
Update: I bought all the ingredients because I don't eat junk food and have wanted to make something healthier.. I tried the first 2 already and love them. I will do the others also.. Thanks again for the recipes!!
I started making these in 2020 when the covid situation was there, and called energy balls . I shared with my friends and family. What a coincidence that I'm seeing it here now ❤👍🏻.
Great video!!! Thank you for using dates and healthy ingredients to make these energy balls. Thank you for also showing us a way to make them if you do not have the equipment and also how long they can be stored for. After all we don't want to eat them all at once 😋😊
Thanks so much for watching! I did try to make this video/recipe accessible for everyone 😀 so I'm glad you enjoyed the way it was presented! Appreciate the kind comment!
Bumping onto your video has changed the way I eat desert & my life. I no longer buy supermarket cakes, pies, or muffins. After watching this video, I purchased the Kitchenaid chopper "5 cup" & bought all the ingredients you used to make the balls. My family loves them as much as I do. They're easy to make & very tasty. The bonus part is the no guilt you feel after eating them. My family & I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕
That's amazing to hear! I'm so glad that you and your family are enjoying these as much as I do - the simple, natural ingredients in these energy balls definitely beat buying all those supermarket cakes, pies and muffins. Thanks for sharing and for giving them a try - I appreciate the kind words!
Wow, what a fantastic recipe video! I loved how clear and easy-to-follow the instructions were, making it simple for anyone to recreate these delicious dishes at home. The presentation was beautiful, and I appreciated the helpful tips and tricks along the way. Can't wait to try making these recipes myself! Keep up the great work♥️😋👍
Oh boy! I've been looking for snacks to take to work that need no refrigeration and are bite size, I run a press making auto parts all day and need non-messy foods to keep the energy up, the lemon cranberry sounds divine! Thanks!
Just made these today. The one with nut and date with a little coconut flakes. Wow! So good! I didn’t have a small blender but liked yours so much I ordered the same one from Amazon at a reasonable price. The dates were on sale at grocery store ( buy one package and get another free) and I did half walnuts and half pecan together and got to work, lol. Sooo easy and very tasty. Hardest part was waiting the hour they were in the fridge after rolling lol. Can’t wait to try the other options. Thanks so much for the great video!
I toasted instant oats, coconut flakes, and added peanut butter. Mixed it with honey and froze it for a couple of hours in ball shapes. The mixture can be eaten like ceral with oat milk. I kept the balls in the fridge after some time. My toddler likes them. And so do I.
Thank you so much I am German and we always had those on the market when I was a kid I haven’t seen them in forever. I definitely will try them so healthy !!
But white sugar versus a whole food is not exactly the same, Google it. There are many good properties in a date that make them much healthier then white sugar, Google it.
I purchased that food processor and it’s wonderful. So much less complicated than my big Cuisinart. Easier to clean too. I made the lemon cranberry energy bites and they are really delicious. Can’t wait to try the others. Thank you.
That's amazing to hear! This food processor is one of my favourite pieces of equipment in the kitchen - light, handy and so convenient to use and clean. And I'm so glad you enjoyed the bites! Thanks for sharing and for watching!
@daveandruthbrewer3311 Hey there! I use a Kitchenaid food processor - I've posted a product link to the specific model I use in the video description box if you'd like to check it out there!
So happy to have come across this channel. Have made up lots of different balls using my own ingredients: apricots, prunes, orange zest, lemon zest, raisins, cranberries..... They all turned out GREAT
I use organic quick-cook steel cut oats in the mixing bowl method. It works well. I also add half cup coconut flakes and some Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips, very good.
I made the Lemon Cranberry ones for the first time and they were delicious.. One mistake I did was, I left the dates for too long to soak and they absorbed more water than needed. I quickly rectified it with some rolled oats and almond flour.. Look forward to the next recepie..
Wow I gotta save this video. This is something I can do. These also would be good to share with my granddaughter. She has 5 of my great grandchildren. Of which the 2 youngest are twins 2 and 1/2 yrs. Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you create these delicious recipes. And I will be trying them out, I will definitely let you know too
The energy balls with dates added are basicly Lara bars. Great easy recipes. Don't forget to rinse your mouth out or brush your teeth after enjoying them. The dates get stuck in your teeth and cause cavities. Dates have a high sugar content. I am excited to try the recipes. Thank you for the Video.

There's a trick to oats, if you toast them it makes them taste better.
Such a good idea! Thanks!
Thank you!!

Holy Smokers Thanks for the tip. what an eyeopener. i toast almonds and never thought about oats.
Always use Old Fashioned Oats. I always toast the oats before using for cookies or energy balls

Thank you for adding the no equipment recipe.
Absolutely, I'm glad you enjoyed that version! Thanks for watching!
Yum! Try adding shredded carrots and raisins to the base recipe for a carrot cake-like ball. Delish!
Ooh that's a great idea, thanks for sharing and for watching! I'll have to give that a try in my next batch!
Fantastically healthy idea thanks!!!!!

Won’t the carrot go funny if it is just raw? I can’t eat frozen carrot as the texture goes odd, so not sure how they would keep nice?
I roll them in hemp seed and get a little more protein!
Hemp seeds are a fantastic nutritious add-in and great for rolling the energy balls in! Thanks for sharing!

Monk fruit is the BEST sweetener for diabetic patients. It doesn't spike your glucose and it's natural...
@@ankitatiwari4916 Not for this, the recipe calls for dates, which do spike blood sugar, figs have a lower GI and are the same density.

"Healthy" adds 230 grams of dates, which result in 145 grams of sugar.
12-16 balls per batch, ~ 9 grams - 12 grams per ball
That is a lot of sugar for one ball. Store bought has lower sugar over here
Agreed.. however you could adjust the date number to lower the sugar :)
At least it’s a whole food

I started making my own energy balls recipes and thanks for the great idea🎉
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I've never tried Lara bars before but I'll have to give them a try sometime!
Same ingredients. My husband and I got into eating them for a while. It is the first time I had a cavity in many years.😀
