If you did that without drilling the hole. That's how it's been done for over 300 years. The drilled hole is a corrosion point to rust the post out.
That’s the 1st thing I thought too… drilling will cause corrosion and rust… just come back a few years😮
Put some silicone in the hole. 🤷 That's a handy gadget, though.

@@Whereempathsgather Looks like metal pole with a corrosion protection coating that has already been scratched off by the wire moving about. Couple of dobs of silicone would be clever...

Holaaa saludos desde Uruguay ....es un caño de metal ...lo taladraste ....es decir le va a entrar agua y se va a oxidar y no servirá más en 2 o 3 años ....lo mejor ....si el caño está sellado del lado de arriba es darle un par de vueltas al alambre en el caño ...apretarlo bien y después atar el alambre ...de esta forma el caño te durará más de 10 años si lo pintas ....saludos

Не нужно сверлить трубу. Достаточно если провод закрутить два раза вокруг трубы и она не переместится. 😊

Good job making the hole to keep the wire from sliding up or down. Little steel stick epoxy in the holes and you avoid the rust and insects nesting.

Нормальные варианты: 1 прижать к столбу саморезом с шляпкой или несколькими саморезами через пластину
Примотать проволокой, не сверля столб

Два раза вокруг трубы, и всё. Ну, можно ещё рычагом проволоку натянуть (по ситуации, плоскогубцами проще всего или отрезком трубы).
Постоянно так проволоку на шпалерах для винограда натягиваю... А сверлить - сложнее, и трубу портить, зачем это?
И всё равно проволока остаётся не натянутой, провисать будет... Такой себе метод )))

На промышленных виноградниках к бетонным кольям крепят шпалерную проволоку без сверления отверстий, достаточно просто во так закрутить с подтяжкой., ведь почти каждый год проволока ослабевает и её надо подтягивать на прогонах.

Works because wire is lifted at both ends and tight. Need to work both ends against the middle is necessary. A pre- determined pole elevation, for pole to remain level enables the wire holes to be pre drilled and there the wire is level also. Just hammer posts into the ground to elevation and string the wire, done. Not dragging equipment around with you.

@@stringlarson1247 guaranteed it slips with enough time, when holes and a bit of resin would also do the trick nicely. That being said, I actually prefer to use a tensioning system so it can be adjusted over time to account for ground movement, possible root penetration, erosion etc.
Fiberglass pole, don't need that many turns to hold wire.

drilling into a pipe is a great place for rust to start.
water can collect inside and make a home for mosquitos and the standing water can rot the pipe from the inside.

Не правильно, не надо ничего сверлить, берёшь проволку 2мм и делаешь проходную вязку как на изоляторе,она будет натянутой и жостко фиксируемая, старые электрики подскажут.
Si lo haces sin perforar el tubo quedará exactamente igual, te friegas menos. Pero la herramienta que usaste esta muy buena.

La verdad que por una simple perforación no se va a oxidar tan pronto y aparte el retorcido del alambre se hace en sentido contrario una del otro uno es de arriba hacia bajo y el otro desde abajo hacia arriba
