The #MercedesBenzCLA class was the first-ever FWD based sedan here in America. It created quite the buzz when it came out 6 years ago but despite the controversy, Mercedes managed to consistently move around 20,000 units annually. For 2020, the CLA gets a complete redesign and #MercedesAMG is introducing the newest member of the family in the form of the #CLA35. It slots between the #CLA250 and #CLA45 and with 302 HP, #4MaticAWD, and a quick shift #AMGSpeedShift 7-speed DCT, #MercedesBenz says you'll be able to sprint to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds. It sounds like the perfect offering for the enthusiast who is looking to buy their first #AMG product as long as you can pony up at least $46,900 to get one when it goes on sale in early 2020. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Good evening! We forgot to mention, the CLA 35 and CLA 45 go on sale early next year. Pricing has not yet been announced for the CLA 45, but we expect it to cost another $10,000 more over the $46,900 for the CLA 35. We also said in our review that the CLA 35 sounds good, well in person it sounds better, while editing the footage, we noticed it sounds a bit muted and Mercedes-AMG probably did that for a reason... they want you to step up to the CLA 45 if your budget allows for it.
Forget it. I'll just buy a house and drive that around.
A decent optioned RS3 is $62k, seriously! I’m actually seeing them being discounted too now.
@@Jacobk66 The one in this video is fully loaded for $66,000. About the same as a fully loaded RS3, so you're correct. We did mention at the end of this review that we feel this car is overpriced by about $5,000 with every option.

CLA 35 amg will keep value. Its the pre facelifted cla 45 amg you guys should buy if you're on a budget. Those things have more power than this cla but cost a little bit cheaper for an older model (2015 and under)

We've been holding off on 4K because it requires us to completely upgrade our computers, cameras, and cloud storage. It's gonna happen next year for sure, we just wanna spend the money to do it all at once instead of in increments.

I like it more that the S3 and I used to own an S3. My issue is that Audi packages options so much better. The options aren’t as alacarte like Mercedes where everything is an option and dealers (at least by me) never have the options you want. It’s like that with all Mercedes and I end up buying Audi’s so I don’t have to settle as much. I just did it again with an S4 over a C43.
Would you take the regular or the AMG seats with everything in consideration. Style, Comfort, etc.

I had a 2014 CLA and got a 2020 in late November. The car is fun to drive and handles well, and both the 14 and 20 are AWD so they do great in the snow. My real complaint is about the technology. It's completely erratic and unpredictable. Stuff works one day, and doesn't the next. Apple Car Play and the dashboard displays randomly freeze up. And the remote start through Mercedes Me works about 60% of the time. If it's even raining lightly, you'll get a message that the crash sensors aren't working. Long and short, the car drives and handles well. The technology is way behind it's peers in it's reliability and in it's ease of use.

That is a very handsome car, it looks well made and expensive! I am sure it is a bit pricey but it's an AMG!

The CLA 35 AMG looks great! It is built rather solid and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I reviewed the lower CLA 250 4Matic and they're similar except as you've said, this CLA 35 has more bells and whistles - a 302 HP engine vs. a 221 HP engine on the CLA 250. It's the standard design of the CLS and CLA models. It's just a design feature. I reviewed the CLS 53 and CLA 250 and didn't find any use for them other than aesthetics.

after warranty expires, will depreciate like a rock. only the dealership has specific tools and diagnostic equipment for these cars. standard service on S65 is $2200, just fluids and filters.
Does this new CLA still have front end suspension travel issues??? Older CLA front suspension would bottom out on every bump and wheels would slice through front tire sidewalls every few months. I went through 6 new tires the first year of ownership. Made me switch to an SUV.

Right? I was just looking at their vehicles page recently and every one of their vehicles looked like the same boring blob template, either inflated to SUV size or compacted to sedan size. The only ones that look different is the AMG GT and the G-Wagon. It's strange because just a few years ago around 2013 their vehicles looked awesome. Sharp, angular, aggressive - then they changed all their vehicles to this boring "bubble" style, pretty sad to see
