Hi Nick, love your reviews. Just one clarification: on 7:50 you say: iPhones could be a little bit funny with contacts. It's quite the opposite, they are very serious when it comes to protecting your data. When you don't allow the sync of the contacts in the initial pairing, then the iPhone will not allow it from then on to protect your data. Thank you for showing how to work around that if you didn't allow it by accident and you are indeed ok with sharing your contacts with this car.
Hey cesstra, thank you! Sorry that’s not what I meant at all. Sorry if you took it the wrong way. When connecting Bluetooth, on the odd occasion the contacts pop up never appears which is a bug either on the phone side or car side. So you have unpair and disconnect the whole thing and start again. Absolutely, Apple are at the forefront of privacy and data is seriously encrypted on all devices. Just annoying from time to time that the Allow Contacts pop doesn’t appear.
Another good one especially the key one. Don’t agree with radio auto starting. If you turn off the car with the radio on. It will play on re starting the car. If before you turn off the car press in the volume on the steering wheel or centre console. Which turns off the radio or media. When you start the car again the radio will not play.
4:31 some signs i have noticed recently by putting in a fresh battery is the responsiveness of the key when opening and locking the doors from the outside. i also cant confirm if i can use my leg sweep maneuver to open the trunk if the key is in a low battery state.
Omg! Nick,,, What timing.. I was in the service department at Mercedes to have them check out my navigation system.. Something is wrong. It shows no navigation 3rd time now with an X through it. It works when it wants to. They did not find anything wrong and have to do more research I have to bring it back on the 14th and leave it there.. Not too happy right now with this. But it is working again, so who knows.... Nice Video as always...
Hi Nick brilliant video! What exact model of vehicle are you featuring in this video please. And spec please? Looking for my next upgrade and I love this!
Hi Nick, I am having a very strange behaviour with Mercedes' proprietary app called "mercedes me". It is very good because it allows to share addresses straight from my iPhone Google maps to the car's (GLE 450) GPS. It has unfortunately stopped working since Mid August 2022 after the latest iOS mandatory update release from Apple. Every time I am getting an error message as ‘ location could not found’ from the Mercedes me. Are you aware of this issue and it’s fix? Thanks for being always accessible to your fan base of Mercedes community.
Hey sambakorea, this is quite common among iPhones. Traditionally Bluetooth on iOS is only for Calls, Texts and music. The sending of addresses can sometimes stop working after an iOS update as resets some parameters. Just a unpair from Bluetooth in the car and phone and reconnect both back up will fix it. 👍🏼
@@npoleary Hi there, just updating on this issue- Apple Maps is working ok and able to share the map data with the Mercedes Me app. The issue still exists with Google maps with an error as ‘ location could not be found on the Mercedes App.🤔🤔
My observation was the Google Maps, Apple Maps and What3Words all had this issue after the iOS update (15.7 I believe it was). Since then Apple Maps has started working again, and given MercedesMe hasn’t been updated, this suggests the map products may need an update to work with the iOS update. I have since installed iOS 16 and this has not changed the situation. So does look like it could be an intentional change from Apple that Google and W3W still need to update for. As I say, just my observation and thoughts, haven’t been able to find anything official from any of the parties mentioned.
@@npoleary thank you, on my Mercedes I don’t have that option, until you look at the apps on the touchscreen-Is this how you would engage off-road mode?? Thank you again..
No it’s just Dynamic Select *IF* the car has it. Depends if you chose I think an off road option at factory or if it’s available where you live / where you’re based (sorry hard to tell where everyone lives in comments on TH-cam!)
I bought a 2019 Mercedes Benz C220d AMG Line a few weeks ago, absolutely love it and a big step up from my Ford Mundano ( Mondeo). I'm struggling with setting my HOME address in the nav menu, any tips on how to do this please ? Everytime the system asks if I would like to set the HOME address I say yes, it saves but when I voice command HOME it says no home address found or stored. I did manage to save it to favourites in the end. Cheers, Daz, Leicester.
Oh really that sounds strange If you’ve saved as home the voice command should work with the command “Home”. Not sure what else to suggest… You could try a multimedia system reset, just bear in mind that this wipes everything from the car and puts it back to factory settings.
Great video! Question. Do newer Benz have the features where you walk away from the car and it locks itself without you having to touch the door handle or remote? Thanks
Thank you! Haven’t noticed this on any Mercedes to date. Some other manufacturers do this that I cover but with Mercedes you need to lock it with keyless (touch on the handle), the key or on the E-Class 2024 you can lock with your phone through Apple Wallet.
Hi Nick, thanks for your really cool videos! Do the cars after and including 2019 have engine immobilisers? If so, how do I use them/ activate them? thanks,
thank you for the videos Nick o'leary please I have a glb 2022 it does not stop ringing when I cross the 160km / h so I understand more how to deactivate this sound system thank you very much
Thank you! Ah you might have winter tyre limit or something? I’ve not gone that fast before so not too sure 😅 But have a look in HOME, SETTINGS, VEHICLE, Winter Tyres, make sure this is off (if you don’t have winter tyres on)
Hi Nick great vid. I have an idea for a video that would help so many merc owners, let me know if you want my idea as I’ve looked for what I need to know on my AMG GLE 53 and all the forums are guessing answers

@@npoleary on my GLE53 when select the i on the right hand amg rotery button it gave me a choice I believe of engine by powers including REDUCED Which there is no explanation in the book I got with the car when I went onto Mercedes-Benz forums. I did produce this some time ago (I think it might have been before “Reduced” was used more. th-cam.com/video/XdYHeadHXLA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IrcIUpkesXeFAJ5w Most of it should still be relevant though!
I came on here a bit late. I loved that you put Lewis Hamilton lurking at you in the beginning lol 🤣. Thanks so much for the trick on a dead key. I do have a question on using bluetooth. I just wirelessly paired my phone to my Mercedes C300 2019 model, but it won't show what on my iphone. I really need to see the map on my iphone 14 pro max. How to make it show? Thank you so much in advance.
Haha my local Mercedes dealer was a bit unsure of that at first…I said trust me…it’ll be funny 🤣 No worries! 🤓 Oh is this for using Apple CarPlay? You’ll need to plug it in for that (as long as it’s compatible). If it is Apple CarPlay (the one to use Apple Maps or Google Maps from your phone) follow this guide I made: th-cam.com/video/xxUa6r893G0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jKnX0WwO3L1-ks8f Looking at making a newer version too!
@@npoleary my Apple CarPlay seems to go off in the middle of my driving, should I get a new cable? That’s the reason I wanted to go wireless but then it won’t show the Apple map on the dashboard screen. I suppose if I take it to the dealer but it will cost a lot of $$$. Btw, I’m team Red Bull lol 😂
My iPhone has the latest update iOS 17.4.1. When I plugged in the CarPlay to one of the usb ports, it seemed a bit loose. As a result, I paired it with Bluetooth and it worked but no pictures on the screen to look at the Apple map or any maps. I would have to turn on the speaker voice and depend on its directions via the voice or have to look down to my phone in the cup holder. Does that make sense. Sorry for the long explanation.
No that makes sense! I’d suggest a different cable to start. That might be the cause of it. However if it’s the USB port then it’ll need to go to a dealer or a mechanic or something.
Hi Nick, When you started key without battery in it, you did not show exactly where the key was left to start the car. To show some of the tricks (knowledge), you need to slow down and show step by step. You are helping a lot. Thank you...
Thank you for the feedback but it varies from car to car. Some are in the cup holders, some are in the centre compartment so it depends on what Mercedes you have. The thumbnail of this video shows you where it was in this model. But if you check your car, you’ll be able to see the symbol somewhere. It’s a real balance to get on TH-cam because if I don’t get onto the next topic, people will click off which impacts the video. It’s a fine balance that I’m constantly adjusting!
hey, Nick Love the videos. Question : i have a 2023 GLC coupe. The turn signals stopped making the classic sound when in use. How do i turn it back on ? Hope you can help thank you ant
Hi Nick! Great video as always. Regarding number 8, you said that the preheating function also heats your battery. Do you have any proof or documents proving this point? It has been a discussion between my colleagues in my dealership for a long time now - and the consensus was that it did not preheat the battery. Would love to see where you found that out! Cheers
Thank you! 🤓 Yes the whole system is connected underneath and just like an engine management system in an ICE car, at certain temperatures it operates more efficiently. Same goes for charging, if you use the Sat Nav it can make sure it’s the right temperature for charging when you get to the charger. th-cam.com/video/thhxjE0RyUc/w-d-xo.html
@@npoleary I have only ever gotten it confirmed, that using the Sat Nav will preheat the battery for the correct chargint temperature. The video you have linked also only says that it will optimise the battery temperature for charging, while using the sat nav. I am almost 100% confident that preheating your car through Mercedes Me does NOT affect the battery temperature - atleast not noticeably -, and therefore does NOT affect charging time. Again, I would love to see any documents from Mercedes, directly saying that the preheating function on Mercedes Me and in the car, also heats up the battery 🤓
Always good to find out new possibilities for the Merc. I downloaded the TalkSPORT App on my iPhone (Radio), however the connectivity seems to have become a problem with connection with the Car at times for some really random reason. DO you know of any Apps that also do this, wondering if I should just delete the App. The problem since adding this App is that any messages that are received by my phone automatically get turned into voice mail via the car which is great, however it now repeats the same message even if I reply/cancel the message… Any thoughts/ideas please.
Super content as usual, many thanks. For the limiter, do you know if that is available in all countries? They don’t seem to have that feature in the US.
Hi Nick; I just got my brand new GLE 350e and it rolls fantastic. There is one thing I find rather strange.I am used to drive in the regenerating break modus. Meaning getting energy back in the battery during breaking. When the battery is empty this dos not work any more. Is there a way to set it do regenerative driving at all times ? Best Regards Axel
Nick - I've been watching just about all of your videos related to my recently purchased EQS 580 and they are great. Thanks so much for doing them. I have a question if you still read these comments. I've paired my iPhone with the MBUX, allowed the contacts and favorites to sync, and enabled Apple CarPlay. CarPlay works great but I am really enjoying MBUX so I want to mostly use that interface. The contacts still don't sync so I can't just say, "Her Mercedes. Call ..." then list someone in my contacts. If I want to do that, I need to switch to CarPlay and ask Siri to do it. The dealership tells me that once CarPlay is enabled that the contacts won't sync to MBUX - it's just one or the other. True or is there something I've failed to do to be able to use contacts in MBUX? Thanks for any assistance.
Hey! Ah glad you enjoy them! Yes so for the best user experience (this is for any car as I cover various manufacturers and they’re all the same) You must choose one or the other. For example in Mercedes if you have Apple CarPlay on, MBUX will suspend some of its functions and expect you to use CarPlay. I’ve not been in an EQS for a while since I filmed one with Mercedes some time ago but it’ll be in the phone menu and you’re looking for some icons that have Phone icon, Media icon & Apple CarPlay icon (this will probably be selected at the moment). Press Home, Phone and look for the like a Bluetooth device manager option where you’ll find these icons. Another thing you could do on your phone is press Settings, Bluetooth, find your car and turn off CarPlay in there which will force the car to use Bluetooth enabling the phonebook to appear on MBUX.
Thanks for the reply@@npoleary . I am able to toggle between using CarPlay and BT but wanted to see whether you could confirm that the contacts would not be available to the phone function for both MBUX and CarPlay. Darn, that seems an odd restriction but "it is what it is" and I'll simply need to consider that when making phone calls or looking to navigate to a contact's address. Thanks again.
Ah that’s just the way CarPlay works. CarPlay is a completely separate UI and when enabled it’ll make the multimedia system in a car swap to CarPlay. You can use both together but you’ll find that you’ll be hopping between UI’s often as they both compete for your attention. For example if you have a text come through, that’ll interrupt whatever’s on the screen and show you that instead.
@@npoleary Ah, I must just be recalling my last car's experience incorrectly. I had a Porsche Taycan before the EQS and I could see the two interfaces (Porsche and Apple) but I thought I was still able to instruct the Porsche side to call contact numbers. Since I used Apple CarPlay more often than Porsche's interface, I likely and just not remembering that experience correctly. MBUX does everything so much better than Porsche's PCM, though, that I find myself expecting to spend much more time on that interface. Thanks again.
Hey Martin, no worries! If your car can do it, try and swipe your instrument cluster dial to the left. If you can usually one of those is an analog clock, but just bear in mind, not all models can do this.
Hey Mohead26, thank you! Glad you’re enjoying the videos! Ah that one’s easy, if you have it, when the boot is open on top of the tailgate on the left hand side will be a button. Just click that and the tow bar will extend automatically. Sadly though my licence doesn’t cover towing and also having never done it before can’t imagine I’d be any good! 😅
Hi Nick. How to navigate the preset radio station without going to “Radio”. For example, while the screen is showing the navigation or apple car play, just press the prev or next button to change the station. Thanks
From memory it’s in Settings in Radio 🤓 Home Radio Settings (I think then General?) In here you can toggle A-Z radio stations or favourite radio stations 🤓
Hi Nick, thanks for the tips. I had a 2019 C43 Coupe, the Bluetooth sound quality on calls is really bad. Is it a common problem? Anyways to resolve it?
Hey Billion, I’ll be honest I’m not a fan of normal phone quality anyway! 😅 What did you mean it’s bad? Is it on the receiving end or is quiet or something?
Very basic question here. We own a GLS 450 and an AMG E53 Cabriolet. Where do you place your cell phone while you are driving the car? And your passengers both front and back? I have a pad on my dash that keeps items from moving but the heat is not good for the phone. Thank you for a response
Ah it can be anywhere 🤓 Bluetooth connectivity works from any place in the car, it could remain in your pocket, centre console or any space that works. Some cars have wireless charging next to the cup holders and even in some cars, you can take the cup holders out for extra space!
Good afternoon. If you don'thave ant vídeos on the subject, like to ask if you make one about how to get radio stations to show the names of artists and songs. Thanks for working and sharing.
We have a 2023 AMG GT 53. When we activate the Cruise Control and drive by a MPH sign the car reads the speed limit and slows to that speed.. In general this is a safety feature, but does provide safety during the summer when school is not in session. Is there a way to shut this feature off?
Oooo nice! Yes I have seen it before on Mercedes cars. It’s under Traffic Sign Assist and a thing called “Adopt Speed”. Central Display: HOME SETTINGS ASSISTANCE TRAFFIC SIGN ASSIST ADOPT SPEED This may vary round the world and from system to system and my memory might not he 100% accurate but it should be roughly in that area. Let me know how you get on 🤓👍🏼
Not sure I completely understand…you can turn the volume up and down in the car but you can’t make it any louder than the top of the volume level. Unless the source of the music is made louder but go careful or your speakers might get damaged if it’s too loud!
@@npoleary yes, you understood quite well. There’s only two things I don’t like about my GLB with the 3rd row is the cream color and that the volume is not as loud as I would expect. Other than that it’s an excellent compact SUV. I wish MB sells seat covers though.

Hi Nick
Always so informative and interesting.
Thanks

I didn’t think you did humour 😂😂😂 very useful video as always 👍
Of course! When the time is right! 👀
You are now my walking/talking manual & LOVING it (the manual is exhausting to say the least - sorry not sorry)🤷🏻♀️😜

Great video Nick. Big fan! Have you considered doing a video about all the features on MBUX store and how to buy and install. Please that will be great. Thanks again for a great video.

THANK YOU especially for the key tip!!
Ah glad you enjoyed it! 🤓🙏
Nice one Nick. As ever brilliant stuff.
Thank you! 🙏🤓
Nick makes it so easy an fun to use Merc
another great video Nick. Huge fan!
Thank you! 🤓🙏
I’ll keep the vids coming! 👍🏼
Another good one especially the key one. Don’t agree with radio auto starting. If you turn off the car with the radio on. It will play on re starting the car. If before you turn off the car press in the volume on the steering wheel or centre console. Which turns off the radio or media. When you start the car again the radio will not play.
You could do that one on some models of Mercedes 🤓
I think the newer NTG 7 models (newer MBUX) you have to select Media.
@@npoleary ok mine is 2018 A200 AMG line premium plus. I have had the latest MBUX update though too.
Yes sadly just models that have the portrait screen
Excellent video!!
Thank you! 🙏
Haha
. Ejection seat activated.. you used it.. loved it
I had to try it! 👀
Haha
4:31 some signs i have noticed recently by putting in a fresh battery is the responsiveness of the key when opening and locking the doors from the outside. i also cant confirm if i can use my leg sweep maneuver to open the trunk if the key is in a low battery state.
thanks Nick another great informative video
Great video Nick.
Thank you! 🤓🙏
Great video as always
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Nick!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Oh that sounds rather strange, hope they get it sorted for you! 👍🏼🤓
You didn’t say HOW to set the limiter. I looked and couldn’t find a setting. Love you videos !!!!!
Covered it in this one: th-cam.com/video/9EYSOX7hJh0/w-d-xo.html
Hi Nick brilliant video! What exact model of vehicle are you featuring in this video please. And spec please? Looking for my next upgrade and I love this!
Thank you! 🤓
What part of the video? There’s a few 😅
Thank you! Those tips will do me good after 18 years!
Btw which Mercedes is that?
Which part of the video? Gotta feeling I had access to a couple that day 🤓
Good information nick !
Great video again mate. With regards to the limiter, how do you access this?
If your car is fitted with it, you will activate it using controls on the steering wheel - on the right side, with a UK car
Hey Keith, Laurie beat me to it! Haha thank you 😊
Got a video on it here: th-cam.com/video/9EYSOX7hJh0/w-d-xo.html
Great tip on remote with dead battery
Cheers Nick
No worries 👊🏼🤓
Hi Nick,
I am having a very strange behaviour with Mercedes' proprietary app called "mercedes me".
@@npoleary thanks for this, I have been having the same error for the last couple of weeks. Will certainly be trying your suggested solution.
@@npoleary Hi there, just updating on this issue- Apple Maps is working ok and able to share the map data with the Mercedes Me app. The issue still exists with Google maps with an error as ‘ location could not be found on the Mercedes App.🤔🤔
Yes I’ve seen it’s been like that for while, not sure if it’s the app Google Maps or if it’s the Mercedes me app
That was great nick you own a Mercedes and you dont know half the teck stuff in your car cheers.👍
gonna get a eqa 250+ amg soon! cant wait

Super job Nick, thank you …
Love your videos.
I have a 2024 GLE 450 how do you engage the off road mode??
Thank you
Thank you! 🙏
If a car has it, it’ll be under the Dynamic Select switch: th-cam.com/video/XdYHeadHXLA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VxiU1cEsYpsZ3wmQ
Oh really that sounds strange
If you’ve saved as home the voice command should work with the command “Home”.
Not sure what else to suggest…
You could try a multimedia system reset, just bear in mind that this wipes everything from the car and puts it back to factory settings.
Thanks!
Thank you so much William!
🙏🙏🙏
Thankyou 👍👍👍👍❤️
Hopefully some day I learn something new. THis are the things that was in the mercedes since w213 E-class 2018 from what I remember.
Thank you 😊
Do you know if the new c class 2022 actually gives a low remote battery warning on dash ? Please. Good vid. Cheers
Should do 🤓
Thank you! 👊🏼
Hi Nick, thanks for your really cool videos! Do the cars after and including 2019 have engine immobilisers? If so, how do I use them/ activate them? thanks,
Yes all makes of cars have immobilisers fitted after 1998. They activate when locked (it all works together when the alarm is set)
thank you for the videos Nick o'leary please I have a glb 2022 it does not stop ringing when I cross the 160km / h so I understand more how to deactivate this sound system
thank you very much
Thank you!
Ah you might have winter tyre limit or something? I’ve not gone that fast before so not too sure 😅
But have a look in HOME, SETTINGS, VEHICLE, Winter Tyres, make sure this is off (if you don’t have winter tyres on)
FYI. The "soft reset" can be done on older Mercesdes by holding down the CD eject button.
Ah thanks for sharing! Didn’t know that one 👍🏼
Wow that was insane 😂 🤦🏻♂️
Hi Nick great vid. I have an idea for a video that would help so many merc owners, let me know if you want my idea as I’ve looked for what I need to know on my AMG GLE 53 and all the forums are guessing answers

@@npoleary on my GLE53 when select the i on the right hand amg rotery button it gave me a choice I believe of engine by powers including REDUCED Which there is no explanation in the book I got with the car when I went onto Mercedes-Benz forums. @@npoleary strange as I watch all ur vids can u send me a link? And the MB community on line was clueless

Haha my local Mercedes dealer was a bit unsure of that at first…I said trust me…it’ll be funny 🤣
No worries! 🤓
Oh is this for using Apple CarPlay? You’ll need to plug it in for that (as long as it’s compatible).
If it is Apple CarPlay (the one to use Apple Maps or Google Maps from your phone) follow this guide I made: th-cam.com/video/xxUa6r893G0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jKnX0WwO3L1-ks8f
Looking at making a newer version too!
And thank you so much for your help. I learned a lot from your videos
It’s a fine balance that I’m constantly adjusting!
hey, Nick
Love the videos. Question : i have a 2023 GLC coupe. The turn signals stopped making the classic sound when in use. How do i turn it back on ? Hope you can help thank you ant
Thank you! I’ve not seen a setting to turn them off so I’d defo suggest contacting Mercedes. Hopefully they’ll be able to advise or take a look!
Hi Nick! Great video as always.
Regarding number 8, you said that the preheating function also heats your battery. Do you have any proof or documents proving this point?
It has been a discussion between my colleagues in my dealership for a long time now - and the consensus was that it did not preheat the battery.
Would love to see where you found that out!
Cheers
Thank you! 🤓
Yes the whole system is connected underneath and just like an engine management system in an ICE car, at certain temperatures it operates more efficiently.
Hey Anthony, really sorry I wouldn’t know. Yes specs do vary round the world so best to check locally with your local Mercedes 👍🏼
@@npoleary Will do, thanks. Seems like this feature ins't available in the US. Cheers.
Oh really? It always surprises me how it varies so much round the world! Hopefully future models might have it, fingers crossed!
I just bought an E450 wagon and I have the limiter option. I’m based in Las Vegas.
You can set cruise control and it’ll act as a limiter as well going downhill
Hi Nick;
I just got my brand new GLE 350e and it rolls fantastic. There is one thing I find rather strange.I am used to drive in the regenerating break modus. Meaning getting energy back in the battery during breaking. When the battery is empty this dos not work any more. Is there a way to set it do regenerative driving at all times ?

Ooo nice! 👍🏼
No sadly not it’s only available on the electric mode, so if it’s depleted you probably can’t select it
Nick - I've been watching just about all of your videos related to my recently purchased EQS 580 and they are great.
Yes so for the best user experience (this is for any car as I cover various manufacturers and they’re all the same)
You must choose one or the other. For example in Mercedes if you have Apple CarPlay on, MBUX will suspend some of its functions and expect you to use CarPlay.
I’ve not been in an EQS for a while since I filmed one with Mercedes some time ago but it’ll be in the phone menu and you’re looking for some icons that have
Phone icon, Media icon & Apple CarPlay icon (this will probably be selected at the moment).
@marcdulude587 ah no worries 🤓
Perhaps someone else has commented about the starting of the engine with a dead key fob, but how do you get in the car in the first place?
Ah I’ve covered all things like that on my tips and tricks episodes: th-cam.com/video/WeTCTvKoTWs/w-d-xo.html
Ok, I'll be trying if they built the seat ejection joke into the Smart #1 as well 😂
Haha I didn’t try that! 😅
Me watching this even though I don't have a mercedes and probably never get one
Hi Nick, when setting the limiter to a certain speed and going downhill, how the car keeps the speed? Purely relying on brake?
It’ll utilise engine braking and the actual brakes to keep it at a steady speed 👍🏼
@@npoleary Thanks! I wonder if there’s a need (or better to) manually down shift the gears when going downhill
Cars can do it automatically to a degree but you can manually change it if you want to 🤓

Thanks fro new 10 tips . But any chance to have sort of digital analog clock on MBUX please .
Hey Martin, no worries!
If your car can do it, try and swipe your instrument cluster dial to the left. If you can usually one of those is an analog clock, but just bear in mind, not all models can do this.
Hi Nick love the videos... are u able to show how the trailer coupling tow bar works on the eqc
Hello,
About the emergency start, have you managed to do it after unlocking the front door manually (since the key has no battery) ?
Yes it’ll work the same way if the door is opened manually
Hi Nick. How to navigate the preset radio station without going to “Radio”. For example, while the screen is showing the navigation or apple car play, just press the prev or next button to change the station. Thanks
From memory it’s in Settings in Radio 🤓

Haven’t seen it on that car so not 100% sure it exists on that model. If I find it, I’ll be sure to let everyone know!
On the flat key battery point. Can you get in the car in the first place if the key battery is flat?
Yes I think depending on your model, there’s always a key installed in the smart key fob where you can manually detach and open your car with it
You sure can: th-cam.com/video/WeTCTvKoTWs/w-d-xo.html
Hi Nick, thanks for the tips. I had a 2019 C43 Coupe, the Bluetooth sound quality on calls is really bad. Is it a common problem? Anyways to resolve it?
Hey Billion, I’ll be honest I’m not a fan of normal phone quality anyway! 😅
What did you mean it’s bad? Is it on the receiving end or is quiet or something?
Very basic question here. We own a GLS 450 and an AMG E53 Cabriolet. Where do you place your cell phone while you are driving the car? And your passengers both front and back? I have a pad on my dash that keeps items from moving but the heat is not good for the phone. Thank you for a response
Ah it can be anywhere 🤓
Bluetooth connectivity works from any place in the car, it could remain in your pocket, centre console or any space that works.

@@npoleary So simple. Thanks.
Central Display:
HOME
SETTINGS
ASSISTANCE
TRAFFIC SIGN ASSIST
ADOPT SPEED
This may vary round the world and from system to system and my memory might not he 100% accurate but it should be roughly in that area.
Let me know how you get on 🤓👍🏼
How do I get my mb GLB to play louder than what it is able to ?
Not sure I completely understand…you can turn the volume up and down in the car but you can’t make it any louder than the top of the volume level.
Unless the source of the music is made louder but go careful or your speakers might get damaged if it’s too loud!
@@npoleary yes, you understood quite well. There’s only two things I don’t like about my GLB with the 3rd row is the cream color and that the volume is not as loud as I would expect. Other than that it’s an excellent compact SUV. I wish MB sells seat covers though.
