Just for your information the knobs can come with the CLA35 based on the configuration, i got mine without i do think the steering looks more clean without them plus the biggest in my opinion the red calipers for the 45 which not the case for the 35 but i painted mine red looks more mean..
Unlike others, I would go with 35.
45 looks more aggressive sure but 35 also looks sport and elegant at the same time. Plus the price difference and different horsepower different taxes here so CLA 35 all the way
You can’t go wrong on either one, they are excellent vehicles
I have the 35 and agree, they are essentially the same engine. I good tune with exhaust bits will push the 35 close the the 45 power number. I really do dig the gray updated rims though. Reminds me a lil of my older gt500 rims.

@@fsan5382 have no clue, here stateside we have the cla45, which is close. But I’m sure the 35/45 interiors are essentially the same going from what I’ve seen here on the tubes.
@@mikehawk120 They are not the same engine. The 35 series uses the Mercedes A250 engine but tuned and modified by AMG.
The 45 and 45s series is a hand built engine completely made by AMG, a completely different engine.
You can NOT “easily” get to the same hp with a 35. The 45 uses alot of different parts compared to the 35.

Finally a comparison video thanks for the content! Word of advice though 90% of the differences you stated came down to spec. The cla 35 can have most of these options, it would’ve been great to do a direct comparison with the 35 you did previously that had the full spec. That being said thanks for the direct comparison 🙏🏽 I’m getting the 35 and putting the gt grille on to make it look almost identical!

Actually the A45s has the most powerful 4 cylinder inline engine not the Cla35, I know the A45s shares the same engine as the Cla45s but regardless the 35 series tend to be the more tuned down variants

Just got my 2021 CLA AMG 35 and im loving it, great car, turns heads left and right.
I was thinking about the cla too, ended up with a 21 A35. Found a 21 for 47.4 otd. I was trying to keep it at 50k or less.

Has the 45, or 45s wider fenders than the 35 or 250? They look pretty identical on all cars but I cant figure it out
Really appreciate this video which I need it so much!!! It's difficult to select between CLA45 and CLA35 since there are around 20k dollars price difference in China. I think I may choose CLA35 with some packages which I LOVE HUD and Burmester a lot.

The deal breaker is how comfortable is it? Bc I used to own a 2016 CLA 250 and I could feel every dump and cranny on the road I was very unimpressed with it.

You can get the knobs on the steering wheel for the 35.

Great video! I’m getting one at the end of the month but I’m looking at the cla 250.. I’d there much difference between that and cla 35? Also are there both in the color digital white? They look a bit different but I like the white shine on the 45
Mercedes cla 250 and 35 amg has exact aame engine but the 35 has double turbo and chiptuning. I wouldnt buy the 35, better to buy 250 and tune it
There's many differences. WatchDifferent TH-cam videos. A lot of people say they feel really really different specially because AMG revise the chassis
fyi those are not bulbs in the headlights. they’re projector housing for the led chips behind them

Those bumperettes, ughh. So tempting to try and pry the backplate that connects them off.
I’ve gotten used to them (fortunately). I actually don’t mind after starring at them for a long time. You’ll get used to it 😂
Can you tell the dealer to swap the girlle on the 45 and put it on the 35 ?

It sits slightly lower (mm). The aerodynamics package makes it appear so on the outer end of the front bumper.
I would go for the 45s,its a true amg with hand built engine..The 35 is just a 250 engine and just tuned by amg

Which one is shorter in length.
Guys, dont buy the CLA 45, go for the CLA45s. Its only around 5k more but you will enjoy the add ons.
CLA45s comes with:
-red brake caliper
- slightly whider body
-bigger exhaust tips
-around 50hp more
All in all 100% worth the 5k more.

the CLA 35 in this case has not the aerodynamic package unfortunately.. with this package, he looks way better and more similiar to the CLA 45...

You can buy the grill aftermarket and have it installed for under $200. The only reason to get the 45 is the extra horsepower IMHO

No doubt. It feels very planted and solid. Steering wheel is quite responsive, and the cornering is superb. Handling is surprisingly good.
i pref the old CLa 45 with huge exhaust
actually the cla35 has everything like the cla45 except the four muffler tips. its has the same black spoiler and the long piece on the rear diffuser.
The cla 35 is not a real Amg doesn't have forged hand built motor 4 muffler tip is the AMG standard all Amg have the 4 tips it's the brand

The 35 is already nice car, with plenty of power, sadly it is a fake AMG, a true AMG is one man one engine! This ruins it! ( other German premium brands use wrong label like BMW who badges M on a 4 cylindres model). AMG is mythic and highly desirable and emotional, anything not AMG, hybride or electrical should have another name, just my humble opinion
Prefer the cla 35.. don’t want to see people I have 45 nice car, they might key on it or do something stupid on it
This CLA 35 looks like 2020 CLA 200 😂 Both have the same 18i wheels and same steering wheel, 2021 CLA 35 has the same size 19i wheels and steering wheel as 2021 CLA 45s
