    Low latency mode only helps if you have a GPU bottle neck as it limits the frames the cpu can prepare before the gpu renders its frames. if you turn on low latency on a system with a better GPU then CPU it will lower performance. like i have a i5 10400 and my gtx 1660 super is a slight bottleneck of my cpu. so i turned it on ON to lower the bottle neck

    If you have a 3000 series nVidia GPU look into making your own performance curve; specifically undervolting. Modern GPU's adjust their performance in real time based on heat and power....power is related to the voltage at a specific frequency. If you increase the voltage you can theoretically increase your frequency (i.e., performance), but you create more heat which will force your GPU to throttle. The secret is to get higher frequencies at lower voltages and temperatures for sustained performance. Raising the power and voltage limits can theoretically give your GPU more headroom, but you may get better results undervolting. I know that I did.

    • @V1CT1MIZED
      @V1CT1MIZED 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Increasing voltage is a bad idea. More voltage = more power and you hit the power limit quicker. So leave it at stock voltage or undervolt it for best boost. You will hit the power limit before temp limit

    do not prefer max performance it consumes a lot of power when the power isn't needed just set it to normal then it will not be weaker it will be the same and your gpu will get less hot when idle! cus it would change its clocks of the memory and gpu when power is needed so when hopping into a game it will get and do better cus it could boost higher because temps will be lower i used max performance and changed it to normal then my temps when idle went from 40 to 38c when max is on to 32 31 when set to normal! (i tried both of them and saw no performance difference at all!)

    I like the video but Im disappointed that you didn't clarify the possible negative effects of certain settings. This video was like "do these things and it will improve performance" but some of the things you suggest actually can hurt performance. Ex prefer maximum power in Nvidia control panel, having GeForce experience optimize games, and setting low latency mode can all have negative effects or mixed yet you don't mention that. Besides that loved the video. My advice to people watching, experiment with the ones I outlined as possibly problematic for some systems they will help but some they will decrease performance.

    Do u you need to keep in game overlay on after you turn on Performance Tuning in the experimental features? This always hurts my frames but I used it for in game filters.

    I have a laptop gp76 leopard 11ug , with RTX 3070 140W, and I did +800 memory clock with MSI afterburner, but I didn't see any boost in FPS with cyberpunk and Red dead redemption 2, does it take a while to take effect?.

    Can I enable use the automatic tuning setting and MSI afterburner setting at the same time? Will they conflict?

      That's a good question and honestly I don't know the answer. I'd assume it's better to use one or the other.

      They're just pinned things. I use a lot of software for various things and I prefer easy access taskbar vs messy desktop.
