thank youuuuuu
Hey @Panjno should I enable rBAR in nvidia profile inspector if it is not supported by my gpu?
Wow! Thank you.
@@ohsinnerman9039 Nothing will change, obviously
Thx alot bro..if the game is supported by GeForce experience but won't let u use the GeForce filter (green check at top left corner of game) will these GeForce panel settings work for those games?
Thank you soo much!! I’m an architecture student doing renders in blender and it was taking days to complete all the render frames for my animation. This saved me soo much time and made my Gpu work like I need it to!!
Damn bro. This video actually saved my gameplay. I’ve had my pc for 3 years and never touched the settings before and somewhere in this video it fixed. I was getting ghosting every time I would turn and now I literally get nothing at all. Thanks. I’m 21 but I’m like a dinosaur when it comes to pc’s. I don’t know jack shiii
Lol im 19 and same
Im the same way, I usually adjust only a few settings. I'm 32 and been a pc gamer since I was 15 when I got my first laptop. I'm a dinosaur with technology also, I don't have social media accounts and honestly don't know what people use it for other than showing off.
@@RobT192 These types of videos never make any sense. They always fail to mention any explanation for anything they're talking about!
I fail to understand what the control panel has to do with anything. if it's not in the game, and a games graphics can only be adjusted from inside the game itself through the games menu.
I’ve been waiting for a while for an updated video on this topic thank you 😊
happy to deliver!
@@Panjno could I ask for such an optimized video for gameloop regarding pubg mobile?
It's nice to see an updated version of NVIDIA control panel videos. I have been following your optimizations shortly after getting a PC and have enjoyed the performance improvements thus far.
How do the games run with these settings?
@@Vincenzo-ht5gk the best way possible ;) Im too following panjno tips for more then yrs with old mobile workstations bought for cheap and its making miracles each time.
This helped MASSIVELY with my Borderlands 3 performance. Virtually all stutters are gone.
1440p max on 3060 Ti / 5700X with V.fog & motion blur off - 75 FPS
my 1080ti maxes borderlands 3 easy,wtf? with 0 tweaks
I have a similar spec and i notice the same, thx!
@@anatos1722hes talking about stuttering not maxing it out. BL3 is an unoptimized mess anyways
Great video!
Finally found a vid I completely agree with. Thank you.
Bro that background fps limited is exactly what I needed. I'd get major GPU spikes when alt tabbing for like 3 seconds and I could not figure out why until I enabled this setting to 60 fps cap, I only wish I knew this years ago, would've saved so much heat and noise issues I had.
Got my new card today and this video has been extremely helpful. Thank you!
This is what I was looking for, for a long time. thank you sir.
Brother you saved me, thank you sosososos much been living pc hell for weeks now, this is just what i needed, cant even express how grateful i am
what needed change?
Thanks you for the tutorial, I've been waiting for it, I love how you explain and detail each step, your videos are a delight to watch 100% recommended man
Thank you!
Didn't explain how to use MUX switch
Well currently im using 3090rtx but the last guide of your 3080ti is not suited for me. But this guide for 4090 working perfectly for me. I also already had another custom and still testing which one is better. Mine custom or yours.
Thanks for you flawless works mate 🎉
Un grand merci, cette vidéo m’a beaucoup aider surtout pour rust, 3 ans que j’essaie d’optimiser mon jeux sans vraiment réussir là vraiment merci j’ai un jeux stable et très fluide merci encore au top ! 👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻❤️ Best tutorial ❤️
Thanks for this guide! Needed this one a lot.
Thank you for making this video because i just realized after 1 year that i’ve been using the hdmi and not display port
lots of work you did...thank you
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO IT HELPED OUT SO MUCH
thanks bro this video was what i needed
Please don't ever stop making these videos, really; thank you
really looking forward to your advanced nvidia settings guide
@Panjno, I found the video a bit confusing jumping between global settings to settings specifically for high performance at 5:59, then to global again, only to finish out with individual program settings at 10:25. I think it would help the flow of the video to cover global settings all at once, then specific changes for best performance/FPS, then individual program settings. Thanks for the guide!
video has just had some edits to help it flow better and become more understable - thanks so much for the feedback! :)
Agreed
Same here I didn't see what we should set max frame rate to it just switched lol..I replayed for about 2 hrs but I still didn't hear him
@@jayr.1523 set it to 2 fps under your monitors maximum
Thank you for this. Your vids are super helpful.
Made my 4090 with Alienware 4k oled run flawlessly so far. Thank you for the video!
Thanks panjno ! for helping me get good fps
Good video! For gaming do you recommend having Deinterlacing "Use inverse Telecine" on or off?
Also do you use RTX Video Enhancement "Super Resolution" with HDR checked? If yes, what quality setting do you use? Auto, 1, 2, 3 or 4? (I typically play Total War games and looking for best settings)
Yes followed your advice and a game i was having problems with is just perfect now and i am using a VIZIO 50-inch MQX-Series 4K 120Hz QLED HDR10+ Smart TV with Dolby Vision, Active Full Array, 240Hz @ 1080p PC Gaming, for my monitor no problems anymore with the graphics!
Amazing video - thanks a lot! :)
Hi @panjno I’ve been following you’re optimising vids and it has definitely improved my performance but now I’m having issues using fullscreen while gaming I’m having to use only borderless. Any advise please?
the best video for setting yet fursure thanks GG
Brother I'm here to tell you, that long time ago I bookmarked your video. And because I was lazy to check it out, I leave it there. I have been searching thousand of videos about fixing my stuttering and getting best performance with RTX 3060. And bro I was in darkness. I just want to tell you, you earned a subscription from me for ever alot of respect and many thanks, later today I will be checking out newest video but this one helped me out when I was lucky Enough to be patient and check the video out. Massive respect from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Massive brother from another mother!!!!
Used it on my 4090 GE78HX, so far everything is stable and running good! 143 FPS average on MW3 Extreme settings dual screen 4520x1271 32:9 (locked the fps) DLSS VRAM target 90 no idea if that’s technically good but plays well! Cheers for the tips!
yeah great ,,ever thought about slowing down so i could bloody look
Fire 🔥 ! Appreciate it
What about adjust screen size? Should we use no scaling or full screen? Display or GPU rendering?
very helpful thanks !
No freaking way. These videos help a lot but i didin't think the r-bar enabling would increase my 1% lows by 25 fps. And my average fps by 120 or something. I benchmarked it in mw3. I know it's not 100% correct benchmark but i tested a few times and the results was a huge diffrence after enabling rbar. Thx a lot for this :)
what is your pc set up and how much fps do you get in warzone before and after?
@@jasoncalisthenics i got a ryzen 7 7800x3d and a nvidia 3070ti with 32 gb of ram. This new season fucked everything up again. but i noticed my rBar switches off every few days. I'm playing on 130-160 fps in this new update. Even tho there is 2 buildings that are fucked and when you go in your fps drops to 30 fps. Happens to my friends aswell.
@Panjno I have a question... In your guide you say, for apex, turn off vsync in the nvidia program settings and turn it on in game; however, in your apex guide you say to turn it off in game. Whichizit?
At last! We've all been waiting for the notorious Nvidia Control panel guide, especially by the one and only Panjno!
thanks for this man...
thanks i got a lot of help from this video
came back to fortnite cuz of the new season and got solid frames (70-100) but then chapter 5 came around and it dropped to 30-40 even with everything on low+ performance mode. but with all these tweaks im getting a solid 100-180 fps in performance mode with decent graphics, thanks a lot
I have a question and I need recommendation guys, I play valorant and didn't know what percentage to put in NIS cause it is not stated in the video.
So, can you recommend what percentage of NIS to use and what is the effects of high percentage and low percentage in fps games
One big problem I encountered early on with V-Sync way back on some of your early tweak videos.
The problem I had with watching any movie or video and the picture tearing, like watching a few slices of the screen up and moving a few centimeters to the other side.
If you find you have tearing, then this is the problem and you need to go back and change V-Sync back to the original setting.
just don't turn vsync on in the 'global' settings...use it in the 'program settings' tab and add whichever games you want it on, add them, then turn it on
@@RS_Redbaron ....if you don't understand, why bother commenting? ID!OT
for the adjust desktop size and position should override the scaling mode set by games and programs be checked or unchecked for GPU scaling?
I was wondering when you gonna post another optimization video, and here it is, 2 days later!
Hey Panjo, will you do a video on optimal settings for FS2020? Especially in VR. Cheers 🤙
EXCELLENT overview of settings!!!! TY 🙏 Cannot wait to see how this helps with the ASUS RTX 4070 SUPER I just built. 😀
may i know what program is that on-screen monitoring? thank you
Thanks. Helped me fix. My skyrim fps somehow got uncapped and my buckets kept insta killing me when i load save.
We need a check list vid of things we should be doing to new gaming pc such as debloating driver custom window tweaks apps to keep pc healthy and things to monitor pc health just everything from start to finish on what you would do to your newly built gaming pc for max performance. The title “gaming pc ultimate startup guide 2023”
I must say thank you. I was having major display issues, especially with alt-tab and xbox game bar. After applying these settings, all issues were resolved. You're the man!
hello man you are kind of a god of the optimisation, so I wanted to ask with mw3 when re bar is enable with intel cpu 13/14 gen the cpu 1%low goes from 270 to 140.. do you have any idea of how to fix this or is just cod that is broken ? Thanks for helping out The community u are the best :)
i use RTX 3050 and monitor technology OR the set up G-sync options don't seem to exist in the nvidia control pannel BUT it exists in the profile inspector and seems to be on by default i think.
So are there some circumstances where we would want to cap FPS in competitive first-person-shooters? You mentioned getting a "more stable frame time graph"
Hi would like some advice please, i have a 1080p aoc freesync 75hz monitor and running a 3060 ti, i can turn gsync on as it shows up as compatiable but what settings do i use? I just want to play AAA at 60fps like god of war days gone etc, what gsync driver settings do i use and what game settings do i use? Should i even use gsync and turn it off and use rivatuner to lock at 60fps and use vsync in game? Wasnt this hard when i used to play command and conquer on my pentium 133mhz 30 years ago 😂
If you have dual monitors setup, Nvidia Image Scaling option may hinder your secondary monitor's native resolution and refresh rate, I was following this guide and my second monitor hid the native refresh rate of 75 hz with 2560x1440 native resolution. Spent hours doing research on it, only to find out it was this option that limited it.
Question. I run a 49" super ultrawide (1440p at 60hz, 3080 10gb). Does the size of monitor affect overall fps?
I started watching you about 6 or 7 years ago when my pc was so bad it couldn't run minecraft in more then 30 fps on everything low. Now I have a 3k dollar setup and still use your optimizations even though I don't need to lol. Keep up the good work
Great video, thank you
If we do these settings in pc does the gaming performance in mobile gaming also improves or is it just for pc???
thank you very much man, best tutorial that I see. Just one thing that I found weird in my case, after enabling the BAR from Inspector and applying changes, when I go to Nvidia Control Panel, System Information it still appears NO.
One thing I would like to add, I currently have a 4090, but my previous GPU was an early generation RTX-3070. Even though this card was technically capable of enabling resizable bar, I was unable to do so because the BIOS on the GPU did not support it. Please note, this was not a driver issue, it was a BIOS issue on the graphics card (graphic card BIOS, not mother board BIOS). After talking to a number of Asus technicians I was finally able to get one of them to send me a BIOS update for the graphics card. It was a small program, ran quickly and fixed the issue. This was an Asus Strix RTX-3070, but I suspect early 30 series cards from different manufacturers have the same issue.
I would also like to comment on the use of DSR factors. If like me, you use GeForce experience to set a baseline for different game settings, DSR factors will fool GeForce experience into setting suboptimal resolutions. Not a big problem obviously, just an annoyance. I agree with you, only use on a per game basis.
I have a 3080 and recently upgraded my Graphic Bios like you've done. Night & day difference in performance. do you think enabling Reziable Bar will make it even better? I am hesitant to change any settings right now cause my pc is running very nicely. 5800x3d w 3080 10gb, 32gb @ 3600mhz.
@@Kdiddz It is absolutely worth it. It should add more FPS, not night and day, but every bit helps, right.
Oh great I have a RTX 3070 EVGA, Just followed the steps to turn it on with Nvidia Profile inspector, restarted computer then checked in System information, Resizable BAR = No, AH well hopfully the rest of the settings I changed will help.🙃Thanks for the heads up, I would have wondered what I done wrong👍
@@fishman6377 Don't give hope yet on Resizable Bar. There are a few settings in System board BIOS that need to be enabled. I'm not sure what mother board you have, but on my "Strix X570-E Gaming" under the advanced TAB I had to set "Above 4G Decoding " to ON, and Resizable Bar to auto. As I said, I'm not sure what MOBO you have, but it should have similar BIOS settings.
If that does not work, contact EVGA Tech Support, and tell them you want the latest BIOS for your video card. Just verify they know exactly what card you have, and its revision.
What is a Graphic Bios ?@@Kdiddz
i know, one subscription of 500k is hard to remember, but i just wanted to say thank you for the very good instructions.
I♥YOU! Ty bro i got from 380Fps 530Fps and idk so long why i cant play without delay.... Now im back in game in Ranked. This Resizable Bar what ever its shoot my Fps to max with your settings im so Happy and greatfull you are my hero now! 🤩like and follow just for you to make more of this videos"!
someone got a monster PC ohhh
So, i have flagship specs and using gen 4 m.2 7000m/s currently, do i still benefit from ahader cache? I really never turned it on cuz i thought it would be faster to utilize RAM directly for the lowest input lag? Playing OW2 mainly
u actually saved my gaming career i love u bruh 😭
if gaming is your career, should you not already know this stuff?
@@DoIoannToKnow no im new to it
guys if you want more fps then overclock your refresh rate its so safe that you can do it in the Nvidia control panel. I have a 60hz monitor which is bad and I will upgrade soon but for now my max overclock was from 60hz to 81hz but only when I have to play I set it at 81hz but when I'm not playing I set it at 60hz so it the monitor wouldn't die. to do this open Nvidia control panel by right clicking your desktop screen and select it. then go to change resolution tab then click on customize. then set the refresh rate one higher so like I was at 60hz and I set it at 61hz then hit test and if it says test was successful then keep repeating by setting it one more higher until you get a black screen and says set it back to the other refresh rate and hit ESC on your keyboard and set it 1 lower and that's your max refresh rate overclock hope this helped (:
Thank you 🙂
Thanks a lot!
thx dude
if game has already in game reflex, what we should do control panel on or off low latency mode ?
Is the Resizable Bar setting in the player folder for mw3 the same, or do i have to enable the nvidia setting for this to work?
thank you for mentioning Gsync settings
how come i dont have a display settings section for me? I have a gaming laptop with AMD integrated graphics but with a NVIDIA 4050 GPU dedicated
Thank you!
We should switch up some of the nvcleanstall setting so the overlay works? I love the new RTX hdr in warzone
How is your Nvidia Control Panel so smooth and fast? Once I open mine and select something it takes quite a time to get it done and reloads again, do i need to run it as an Admin or something? I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D with a 3080Ti Asus ROG
I have a 2021 G14 with the Ryzen9 3060 144hz and I have it connected to the Dell - S2721DGF 165hz Monitor I’m using an HDMI 2.1 cord To connect them do you have a video of the settings you would run with my set up that you can maybe link for me I’ve used your Apex FPS video I’m getting about 225fps looking up in a low of 165 During gameplay, do you think I should cap my settings?
Hi, great video super helpful! But what should i do for physx? (Im on a gaming laptop)
No, it won't do anything if rebar isn't supported
Great video quick question i gaming on a Samsung tv q90a with a 4090 do i need the tv game mode to get 120hz etc features
So if I have a native 2k monitor, but run a game on 1920x1080, use image scaling? Or do I use it if I set my whole desktop to 1920x1080? Or both lol
u sir are the best lol just got my 4070 and this bumped my frames up from 190-200 to 210-230 on cod lol solid work boss! Keep it up
I have a ROG Strix G16 with i7 and a 4060 and I changed my settings to the ones in the video and the performance is much better. However, I'm having some glare with certain parts of maps. I'm not very good with computers so this is something others have much more experience in than myself. What setting would effect the glare and make it so I not getting blinded on certain parts of maps. Thanks for the video it helped tremendously with performance.
for that latency setting...should i put it on/ultra or off if i playing valorant??im using laptop
THANK YOU
Hi, great videos, i have missing options on my nvidia control panel even though i am using an external monitor for my laptop By HDMI port do you have any solutions and Thanks.
@panjno are you aware that nvidia control panel defaults explorer AND dwm to adaptive power management? You have to go to add program and change them both for a decent system wide increase. :D!You should add this into your video!
Thanxx for all.
@Panjno - I followed the guide, but realized my Low Latency Mode options inside my Nvidia Control Panel only show "Off" or "Ultra" - there is no "On" option, even though I'm on a desktop with a 4090?? How do I get this option?
So I should put my nativeresolution from nvidia control panel and use lower resolution ingame?
Cuz I got 2560×1600 but I use 1920x1200 in gamess
Is this still a thing to make a auto ram cleaner? You have a video its 1 yeahr old should i make this or is the windows 11 pro doing this alone?
Thanks!
10/10 recommend to a friend !
thank you as always for your efforts,
I would like to ask about Coffee Lake CPU *I7-9770K* which GPU should I upgrade to? I'm using GTX 1060 6gb.
I was told my CPU is not that old and is good for todays standards of mid ranged PC.
But which GPU should I get ? Should i get RX 20xx or try and aim for 30xx ? since the GPUS prices are overkill nowadays. Thanks in advance!

Do you have an updated NVidia CP settings for Escape From Tarkov?
Nice, TY ! :)
Hey Panjno, could you maybe make a Video on who to get back DS(DLR)? I am missing it on my 4080@4K 144Hz. Would really appreciate this!!
@Panjno I always watch these videos in .75 speed. The nvidia control panel can be really slow XD The drops downs are derpy as hell
Ive got a PNY XL8R 4090 and Intel I9-13900KF 64gb ram 6400Mhz, 3x M.2's, 1200watt PSU, NZXT 360 kraken elite AIO cooler. And using a LG OLED C2 120hz @4k as my main monitor. But im getting slight micro stutter and small tearing at high FPS. Ive started using the Gsync, Vsync + Ultra Latency which helps, but is this the only way to fix? I did want more frames but i suppose if its fixed i should stick with it and maybe get a higher Mhz monitor?
What would your suggestion be?
Keep up the great work Panjno!
Its because the fps goes upper than the hz of ur monitor, try to cap them or change to 1440p 240
