More Tele Musica: A salute to Rita Montaner! Because Tele Música was in color, but Rita’s videos are black and white, I set my iPhone to “noir” (you see the change shortly after the beginning), as “noir” looked more natural here than the bluish tint. Here is the first of what I hope to be maybe five or more videos from a master VHS 📼 that I thought was lost. Prsise God that I found it! This is from April 1993. Here is “Escriba y Lea,” which I had read is a sort of the game “Twenty Questions.” In 1993 this may have been the closest Cuban TV had to a quiz or game show. Can you play along? @@edreytorresproductions7234 Según Sarv, la de Liuba María Hevia (la que mencionas) la quieren dejar morir, pues debido al paso de los años desde 2001 ya la imagen tiene pésima calidad, aparte del diseño visual del CE que tiene con colores oscuros. Sin embargo sabemos que la nueva de Haila existe (Cuando cae la noche) porque se ha emitido muy pocas veces los viernes a las 8 pm por Canal Habana, puesto que son los únicos días en los que este canal cierra su programación infantil a su horario correspondiente.

Posiblemente desde 1992, hace ya un tiempo leí un comentario en Cubadebate de una persona llamada Eduardo Luis Sardiñas Montañéz, según él decía, en septiembre de 1991 a la Redacción de Promociones y Mensajes de la TV Cubana se le encargó el cambio de imagen y la música, ahí fue donde surgió la idea de utilizar "Cuba qué linda es Cuba" para Cubavisión y la "Marcha del 26" para Tele Rebelde.
Definitivamente de 1993. Una video futuro menciona algo que refiere al 35 aniversario de la muerte de alguién cuyo muerte fue en 1958.

I THINK it was fhe Xtreme Signal 8200 from solidsignal dot com . Or, it was the Antennacraft FM6 into an indoor amp with cable from it to the 2011. They rival each other on 162 MHz, but I believe it was the 8200.

With ATSC 3.0 such DX will be even better, if the same power is maintained, as 16 dB S/N ratio can be very much sufficient for a perfect picture. And the OFDM nature means that multipath won't cause problems either.

“Hee Haw” I assume was shown on Ch 39 at that time, but the last place I saw it was the Circle Network (now Circle Country, streaming only)-and Circle might have dropped it anyway. The cost of showing musical guests now in reruns is out of sight, and that’s a problem.
AM740 - former CBC AM station, taken initially over by a local broadcaster from my hometown CHWO, then sold to Moses Znaimer of CITY TV fame and turned into "Zoomer Radio". I can occasionally hear it in Bermuda when the condx is right. Driven past the site many times in my youth, single omni, 50Kw D/N - I've heard it clearly in Philly from a rental car after dusk.

Where do you live, and what equipment do you have? FM Es season is just around the corner. As to TV, a handful of countries still run analog on channels 2 to 6, and DTV via Es is definitely possible. See videos under my old username @cd637299

Cuba analog TV is definitely in your Es range. Analog there should remain until 2026. Some (but very few now) Canadians still run analog. Dominican Republic may be in her final year of analog as I write. …..And I hear ya about FM translators; see why I travel? Yankeetown FL is a real oasis; very few locals AND cross-Gulf tropo (as you may have seen on my current page here).

Curiously, in which country do you live? That antenna needs two people to work on. I don’t think you will need one that big. If you are in Latin America, you may just need a small outdoor “all channel” antenna, 54 MHz and higher, which are not manufactured as much now in the USA.
