I once heard the rebuild movies described as "Neon Genesis Evangelion on mood stabilizers" 😜

This part of the film nobody gives sinjhi any answers is a characteristically depressive acenario, to represent the confusion the character feels and all .... i get that you dont get it but that's it.

So the mari is actually Anno's wife who came up from nowhere did nothing but heal the depression for him. So anno made her appear on his anime❤ other than that its still sucks😂😂

Great video and glad to see you enjoyed the series and this film overall! I still believe to this day that this is Kyoto Animiation's best work. It's always interesting to see how people interpret and react to Haruhi in the current anime landscape. The show seems long forgotten at this point given the popularity boom the anime industry had the last 4 or 5 years. Though I still think its presence is felt all these years later in the amount of anime failing to capture the same energy this series had. Really liked your thoughts overall, earned a sub from me!

The rebuilds just make me happy for Anno, because it's evident that the man who helmed the rebuilds is not the man who made the original Evangelion, but it's also evident that the man who made the rebuilds is a happier more content person than the man who made Evangelion. Whatever he found between the time he started Evangelion and finished with 3.0 I wish you could bottle it because I think most of us could definitely use a little bit of it.

as much as i like both the original and the rebuilds, i prefer the rebuilds more as it seems more flushed out, easier to follow and unlike EoE, its not unnecessarily 'violent' and not as strange (yes, im talking about THE hospital scene and misato kissing shinji)

Me personally the rebuilds are great with animation and scenery but the og imo was just better with the characters fleshing out and what truly made it great was the representation of mental health and how the characters coped with their trauma or everyday struggles and the end of evangelion just imo perfected what I said with the series I liked the psyche of the characters in the og while the rebuilds are decent I will always prefer the og , but the rebuilds are a different timeline so I get it I don’t despite but the og will always be better to me

I feel sad that you didn't like one of my favorite part of the movies and the vibes that gives. Aside of that, Great video! I am a very new fan of evagelion, so i waited not so much time to get to view the rebuild, i mean, i did not understood the original series and if not the rebuilds movies, that have a very more explict message, i was about to have a nihilistic view forever. (English is not my mother language)

I really liked this video and your style! I'm following you and supporting your future as a filmmaker. I currently am a Watashi gal as well. I am about to graduate from college and I don't have a close friend to my name, I just have acquaintances and people I got to work with a lot. They mostly ignore me and no one really considers me their friend, this is because I haven't taken any initiative to actually form bonds that are meaningful and lasting. The only thing I did really well is finding a girlfriend and I'm so very thankful, she's made all these years bearable and the lack of friendships is at least somewhat alleviated. Still, she encourages me every day to break out of my shell a tiny bit more. I'm about to do my internships and I'm planning on taking every opportunity to its conclusion, that's how I'll know I'm living a fulfilling life. Thank you, your video made me cry and think about myself again.

...ok so... Shinoa just became Mikasa but worse?? And Guren is somehow evil but they forgive him (i already saw that he was kinda evil and i don't know if it was a retcon or not) because Family? (Fast and Furious reference)... i've gotta say... I'm not sure if this is actually the manga. I have actually watched another video critizising TPN (a manga who went into the same writing problems) but... some stuff that he said was kinda taken out of context from the manga, so i'm hoping this is the same but... No, i'm gonna drop it. I don't want to be hurt and dissapointed again by a series that i used to love.

This movie kinda reminds me of oppenheimer in multiple ways. I just watched this and i really enjoyed it 8/10. Was kind of confused at times cuz it just timejumps multiple years out of no where. And what are the ages of jiro and his wife cuz she looked like a little girl around 12 years old when they first meet while he was like 20. Kinda of a strange age gap between them that i dont see anyone talking about😅

If scaling or at least seeing potential of an ability was taken more into consideration, we would get more Across the Spider-Verse’s The Spot using portals to their most brilliant heights (even if multiverse portals wasn’t a thing) and less X-Men First Class’s Darwin, where yes he could adapt to that, bro should be like Ultimate Kars but in the instinctual sense.
