Late but: You know it’s been a wild ride when “the MC loses their memories and their body is reset” is not upsetting but cathartic.
end of an era, truly one of the greatest series of all time.
I wasn't expecting Phos to get a decent ending out of all this. 107 chapters of suffering turned out to be surprisingly worth it in the end.
Such a good series. I actually wrote a paper on it during undergrad and my English department was really excited about it.

I love this ending so much because I wasn't expecting it at all. It feels so bittersweet and it works so well because I either expected Phos to completely die or to completely live. But now they have pretty much all they needed : genuine relief. A part of their pain went away, but without that pain they're nothing more. And I find that so sad and happy at the same time (?)... I mean, they've found their "paradise", something the older Phos was craving for for thousands of years. And all they can do now is to contemplate it. It's so profound but I can't put my finger on it.

all we need is an annotated version with all the buddhist references. i read the last chapter's setting (flowers/crystals) could be a reference to indra's net

the character design was unlike any other, the setting was one of a kind, art kept getting better, incredible development, thought proving themes and emotional highs/lows its all i can ask for in a piece of media

i'm glad I got to see the endig of hnk while it was stil in the serialization process because the waiting added so much more meaning and emotion at each chapter that came out. Now that it has finally reach its end i kinda don't want to ever move forward or forget any of the meaningfull emotions that this series gave me. I really do hope that more and more people will read it in the future... it doesn't feel like this series got the visibility it really deserved. Still, I'm glad there were videos like yours to keep me company while reading each new chapter.
