- Back in March, US theaters were screening The End of Evangelion for the first time ever. As I only recently watched and finished the show, I was able to see this film for the first time in theaters for my first watch. Let's talk about that experience, as there's a whole lot to go over.

Your like the only person who was able to comprehend this movie on their first time watching. For most people it takes a couple rewatches to actually comprehend this movie
I still feel like I missed a lot, but I’m glad that people seem to agree with my understanding of the film. I partly thank the theater experience for that, lol.
This was where the series ended for me. The Rebuilds lack the niche and emotional stakes from the original.
That's not to say I don't search for alternative timelines through fics. But I am always careful enough to choose something with suffering.
But I'd like to find something "Post-Third Impact". Suggestions ?

This is too intelligence for me

I wished some of the angels would work as a team. Some of them are not 3 dimensional. They could have done more. And I think some of them could reincarnate if they knew how. I mean, if Shinji, Asuka and Rei can do it...The angels I'm thinking specifically are Armisael, the shadow one and Tabris.
I wonder if this would result in more angels through accidental procreation.
Angels and humanity are two different beings, they are almost the opposite. If they worked together, that would give the, human aspects, which kind of defeats the purpose of the concepts of angels
End of Evangelion is not as complicated as many people pretend it to be and definitely has a happy ending in my opinion. But perhaps someone's life had to suck at some point to see all the little details.
Yeah. those are pretty much my thoughts too
They might just be memes, but I don’t understand why people say they got depressed from finishing Eva. EoE has the most life affirming and optimistic final message I’ve seen in anime.
The ending tells you: don’t run away from reality by escaping into fantasy, you must reclaim yourself even if your own words or the words of others have made you feel terrible, and as long as there is the sun, moon, and Earth anywhere can become a paradise.
I just finished the other movies 💀
I met an eva fan recently and from today on we're officially dating, so this video has some great timing with my current life events
I think that's funny, life is filled of coincidences!!!
The rebuilds are beautiful and do justice to neon genesis i hate to spoil it but you def will like it if you truly like Evangelion
Can’t wait to check them out then!
this is not true the rebuilds aren’t horrible but DEFINITELY don’t do the original plot of nge justice
Now watch anno first work in gunbuster
eventually
