I love washing my glocks in hot soapy water. Dawn dish soap is my go to cleaner. Then it gets a few drips of oil in the right spots.

Loctite C5 is anti-seize grease There’s a lot of good anti-seize grease out there. But it’s basically grease. my favorite is Lucas Assembly Lube. 🦖 it’s a green jelly that smells like victory. Trust me. take a sniff one day

It's just a thought I'm old have weak hands but the glock 44 22lr wasn't made for me slide to hard to rack so I'm not keeping this one I've owned Glocks for years I still do thanks for letting me comment

Thats actually not true. Timney has a pre travel adjustment. You set it for a huge pre travel. Mine is just at the wall... and for reset there is no over travel

I love the geek out in this man! I felt a bit under studied as the only weapon systems I am familiar with is pump shotguns, ar15’s, and Glocks…..no where near the knowledge this man possesses and uses. For me, it’s wonderful he exists….as I trust my life to his work and decisions on a daily basis. Just pulled the trigger on this gpt. Then, immediately went to his site to get a vex shoe, defensive connector, and striker kit for it. Add to that the Glockstore tool for assembling the gpt, and maybe….maybe the higher power mcarbo housing spring (on the little rod). We’ll see where it sits as Johnny sets it up before fiddling with it.

I just installed an Apex "Action Enhancement Kit" Trigger. I really like to weight and smoothness of the trigger pull. Do you think it is advisable to break the edges in those same key locations on this Apex? The edges are just a sharp as stock bars. And polish as well I assume.

I've also found the cut ends of the striker spring, can have some burrs on them. A kratex (like a pencil eraser with fine abrasives in it) bit in a Dremel smooths them down nicely. They can cause a lot of drag in that channel liner and even scar it up a bit. It really helps reduce the notchy feel during the take up in the trigger press.

I've heard stories about edc with this trigger. Do you think it's safe with a high quality kydex holster?

Gen 5 19 stock GPT with Vex. Very slight catching on safety tab when I wasnt perfectly on the trigger. Took exactly two coils off saftey spring, zero catching now. Great video. Trigger shoe upgrade is amazing.👍👍
