    Retired tool and die maker here, from the drawing board and manual machining days. We made plastic injection molds for the medical world. Hand polished, hand fitted, etc., Your attention to mechanical detail warms my vintage heart.

    I just want to say Johnny Glock Triggers are fantastic. I have several of them. Not only are they good Johnny really cares about his clients. I had a question while I was installing one of his triggers after bus. Hrs. So I left a message like his outgoing message told me to. Do you know he was on his way out with his daughter for dinner and he called me to awnser my questions. This was just several years ago not like when he was first starting up. Now that is going beyond service , Thank You Johnny.

    I am so glad that the world of Glocks has Johnny. Me personally, I can't stand Glocks. Don't own one. Don't want one. But I am a Glock Certified Armorer, and I do fix them for people. Johnny has made Glocks acceptable. Thanks for making it easy for me to make peoples Glocks acceptable. Still don't want one. But now I need to get one just to show my customers that they can be made better.

    I have a suggestion for a product for you to look into. I have a Glock 48 and have had both the PSA Dagger 15 round magazines and all thee generations of the Shield arms 15 round magazines. Not just one magazine but a few of both brands and generations. Both brands have had failures to feed or jams. The PSA being worse than the Shield arms. Changed the ejector and trigger housing (Parts Cannon) with no change. If you could figure out a new product or fix for this problem I think it would be a money maker for you. With the 10 round Glock mages the gun is 100% reliable so it's not the gun. I sent the PSA back for a refund and returned the Shield arms mags back for review by company. Don't expect a solution, 5 mags $200 plus a $30 metal mag catch cost for jut Shield . To me the 48 is the perfect size gun. If anyone could come up with a solution it would be Johnny Glock.

    Johnny I missed your Videos. I have a Glock 19 Gen 5 I redone the Whole thing, I used the Ghost/ Apex Trigger then I put a real light Recoil Spring, milled the Slide to fit a Green Do Optic. The only thing I just can’t Shoot very clean with it, then I got my first 365 then the 365 XL, Then The 365 X Macro that I love.that was several Years ago, I carry a 365 w/12 Mags in my Chest Rig during the Cold Months so it hides well and Comfortable, I swapped the Factory Grip Modules to Wilson Combat because those have a bigger grip that works great my my big hands, I changed out all the Barrels to Fluted Threaded Barrels for a Can if I decide. The Sigs works for me at the Moment, I absolutely love to a shoot it’s a real Calming feeling I get for my hobby but nowadays it’s a very Expensive Deal though, but I don’t drink or Do Dope of any kind so basically my Wife and Son completely have taken over out pretty The Successful Construction/ Contracting Company that I start 34 Years ago starting out in Property Management Type of Jobs, I also was a For Flint, Michigan for (23) Years so I was Diagnosed with AML Acute Myeloid Leukemia which in 2004 was Deadly because it’s a Blood Cancer so I fought through that then (18) Months later it returned With a Vengeance, But once again Great Doctors but Most of The Great Physician aka The Lord, God, Yawa, Jehovah, well Itwa#my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So then in 2010 my Kidneys started Acting up so the Doctor would send me to a Procedure Clinic that don’t those type of Procedures, well the Nurses Aid hit my Intestine and it hurt like Crazy Pain so he stopped then instead of using another Needle he used the very same Needle to finish Drawing the Fluid out of a Pocket it had Formed and was Smothering Me, I instantly was in Pain then it went away but Two days Later I was Sepsis. The rushed me by Ambulance and County Sheriff Paramedic who was able to give me probably Way too much Morphine in Direct Shooting into my Blood Vein. Then I was so bad I was at one point considered Clinically Dead from Sepsis. I don’t Recall Very much at all for Four Months because they put me into Induced Coma so my Body can try to heal itself. Then one day apparently two Teams Four Internal Medicine came in and told my wife and Daughter who is a RN at a different Hospital luckily she knew the Right questions to ask of the Doctors as my wife did as well. I get hauled to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit because they are the Very Best at Preforming Transplants of several different Organs. After (10) Ten Days they came to me and Wife that I didn’t need a Liver Transplant because it was Portal Hypertension very Treatable. Life was me was Really, Really Was a Really Bad mess because in 2004. I had to Literally start all over again Health, Financial, Mentally, trying to figure out my new life. The Leaders of the City area was very Great to me never pushing my return to work but I would not listen I went right back to work then get out or Use my Days Off to Grown My Family Contracting/ Construction Business. Well I had a Death Experience the second I opened my eyes to look my wife eyes they were Red Swollen and I could tell she was Crying. So I told her what happened to me but She couldn’t hear so here I was yelling as I thought, but They Damaged my Vocal Larynx from the Ventilator I was on four Two Months believe. So when I woke up for the first time for a few months I was telling my Wife I passed away or Died which ever you prefer, My Wife kept saying Your Alive but I couldn’t hear my Voice but she couldn’t at least i thought I could, she would say No Honey You are Alive. So I went back to my main Job at the Fire Service/ Trying to Strengthen such a Mess that I left it in because before I got so sick all I wanted to do was do ever I wanted. I learned how to talk but my voice isn’t the same not even close. I have people to this day tell me I should Due those Doctors and Nurses. So I told There is No way because the level of Care was Absolutely Fantastic, so how would i look suing this Nurses and Doctors, they make a lot of money and so did I at that point we had a lot of Money, but I just didn’t want to feel like was was buying their Ability to leave me alone, I already knew every single person in the Hall. I vote your Work maybe I will try the Trigger set up along with the Slide Spring is so stiff sometimes I feel like it will break the Romeo Optics, by the way I love the Sig Sauer Fire Department. You touch so my people with you Great Videos. So when I retired from the afire Department I also gave up my President CEO of the Company I handed to my Wife and So does all the Secretary Type of Work, my Daughter Inlaw does theState Required Quarterly’s and paying out the Checks for the Employees there is now. One of the very best Procedures that they switched up was paying the through a payroll Company as well All of The Taxes Procedures. Now I will will chase parts or anything for that matter. Advise if needed or Asked for my Thoughts about how the Situation should be handled. They understand that there were (75) Firemen that work under The Chief, Assistant Chief, Captains. Lieutenants, Sargents. I was very well respected as I no nonsense man who absolutely Does Not Argue Back, but very Rarely I was Put in a bad situation I fella I knew since he was a little Guy, He became a Alcoholic Really Bad he would show up for Work Drunk on Rum or what ever he could get his hands on, the Sad Part I knew him since he was a little young Fella so I Suspended pending an Eternal Investigation, well Two Morning later apparently He was on a Three Day Drinking Bender. He went looking for a Guy at a Automotive Supply Store looking for a guy he supposedly was having an Affair with this guy, he walks into the Auto parts store he was just a few minutes late, after his Own Cousin Turned him in so the Flint City and State stopped him, He jumps out of his Car and started firing at a bunch of Bullets from the. The Police then started Shooting hitting him in his Right Ear because it’s gone., also he was Hit in His Left Shoulder. His Wife and her daddy were great Friends of Ours. He went Home to ahi’s Wife who was asleep They can’t Confirm or Deny if She was Sleeping but he Emptied His Glock 19 Gen (4) Four into her Body, one going through her Hand then Hitting her in the Left Eye going through and leaving a Huge Hole in the Back of Her Head Face, Hands, Chest Area. It’s was a Total Sense of Desperation for Their Two Babies a (9) Ten Year old Daughter and a (9) Nine Year Old Son. Luckily The Children were at their Grandparents Home where he had no access too. He is Serving a Life Sentence without the Possibility of Parole. They Kids have Coped with it better then we all thought, probably because they didn’t Witness the Killing. But I felt really Guilty feeling if I didn’t Fire Him then things were have been different then i found out he was a very very Controlling Of His Wife. He would get very Jealous. Why you asked why would I type all this down to you is because I have Survivor’s Guilt, Diagnosed PTSD. So it just came to my mind I guess because he always had a Glock with him as he want to be a Police officer but he was really Short so he was declined .

    A true patriot! Question…., I’ve watched a few reviews of your “combat trigger kit” and 1 of them mentioned that the kit took about 250 rounds to “break in” and that he would recommend NOT immediately carrying after installation without proper break in.
    Now, I fully believe in NOT carrying ANYTHING I haven’t thoroughly trained with and am 100% confident with the tool and its capabilities/faults. And he attributes this to the plastics used in the product. Knowing you use 100% Glock manufactured parts, and then mill them to your specs, I would figure the finished product is 100% usable from go. Is there any truth to this “break in” period? Or would you be able to say confidently, that after proper installation, and a training session at the range, with at least 100 rounds, would be “broken in” enough for personal protection? I’m only weary due to price…at $370, I’m about $200 shy of another g45! I know I sound petty and bitching. But, I am not a cheap person, just don’t want to waste money on a product that I might not prefer to have on my personal protection device, at a cost that will leave me feeling like I was used lol. I would like to believe that oem parts, being spec’d by THE GLOCK MAN….would be a precise instrument from install.

    Hey jonny i have some of your triggers in some full size glocks but i wanted your thoughts on something ive been doing for a few years? That is that ive been running wolff 4.5lb springs in my glock 43s for thousands of rounds with all kinds of brands of ammo including cci aluminum etc. It really makes the triggers sweet in these little guns! Ive never had one issue throughout thousands of rounds with these guns but I change the springs every cuple thousands of rounds however. Is that a no no? or should i keep doing this?

    • @johnnyglocks
      @johnnyglocks  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah brother absolutely keep on doing that if you're powered down it's better to have a lot of spring tension

    • @johnsmith-zd5he
      @johnsmith-zd5he 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for getting back to me on that! Ive picked up casings from the 43s with the 4.5lb springs even after around 1000 rounds and compared the indents next to casings from my bone stock new glock 19 and the dents were just as deep and looked identical in comparison, so i may just keep doing that? The trigger pull went from a crunchy 6-7 lbs down to around 4.5-5 5lbs and very clean. Way easier to get accurate shots. @@johnnyglocks
