Man thank you for all the work you do!!! You just went over every main problem I've ever felt with! I think my brain stopped hurting! Thanks for everything! God bless.
John is a old school shop owner and will help on the spot if you show up in person, if there is any way possible! Good on ya bud!!! I love my triggers.......... all 8 of them :-)
Dude Steve-o I've watched Like 10 of you're videos so far every video I just hear you say I'm gonna make it short first thing I do is see how long it is everyone so far Over 19 minutes... but I love it man thank you for everything. I am getting so much knowledge it's amazing to watch you work and listen to you rattle off everything. I can't wait to buy a trigger from you.
100 percent was thinking this the whole time I was watching like man if I lived in the same state I would beggg to just stay out of the way and watch him work and take in some knowledge
How's the sear engagement? I hope the overtravel housing isn't a bandaid, but is an actual fix. Connector choice seems to be at ay too in terms of overtravel. This man's connector had to be changed more than twice. Lot's of factors, so please check your engagement for your safety. I had a 22lr conversion that doubled on me while using the Timney. I noticed that the Timney is on the lower end of engagement.
@@5jjt the sear engagement is good. It was only when I let the trigger reset very very slowly. There was something happening in that moment at the full rear travel on cruciform but the over travel screw stops it from going all the way back. Once I adjusted the overtravel screw I tried and tried to make it malfunction but it's good now
@@johnp9402 This is common with how some tolerances work out.. the moment of slow reset can sometimes cause the sear to drop down a tad as it resets. You can watch the sear engagement from the back as the slide drops to see where it rests with the trigger fully depressed, then as you let it reset, if it wants to pop down a bit to where the engagement is just barely hanging on, it can easily double tap or even go full auto. If anything the trigger needs to fully come back forward in order for the engagement to be acceptable again in such situations. Not odd to get a trigger where the first pull is rough but then follow up shots staging the reset will be super light. Dangerous though.. can feel solid, then one day seemingly will just unexpectedly fire when slowly resetting.
I'm not a Glock owner but love the smithing information. I always pass on Johnny Glocks videos to guys with questions or issues with their Glocks. You got an AK Jesus and then you have Johnny Glocks the Jesus of Glock presision smithing.
I want the new Timney Combat performance upgrade! I love the JG product but love the Timney triggers, but I have made a few of your adjustments. I want to get both versions. Need some shirts too!! I am an FFL in South Denver. Regular Glock armorer but love your channel!!
I would like your alpha kit, I’m confident I can install it the way it should be done, the timney is great, but the over travel sucks, reset gets weak, it’s marring my striker and the cruciform even after a good polish but better. 2.1-2.2 lbs pull all day, 1k rds at least, your new shoe looks like what it needs! Now they have a striker and connector to go with the alpha kit.
Johnny you taught me so much years ago before you got to where you are today . Another perfect teaching video but i still see people’s glocks with oil in the wrong places !! Tell Brandon to put a pair of safety glasses on when operating those grinders/ buffers hate to see him get hit not being critical or a dick but at 65 i have seen it happen too many times to good people
Johnny, random question, can you foresee the Glock Stiker Control Device weakening the striker, where the lug connects to the body, by the stiker being constantly battered under recoil by the device. A gentleman who has one showed two broken strikers, and one broke at the lug. Is this anything you have seen? Thanks for the videos. It's fun to hang out with you guys for awhile.
If you like to run your Glock a little wet be sure and clean it often and even better after every range trip or competition. It's really quick and easy if you don't let the gunk build up like in this video or worse, disassemble - clean with degreaser - wipe down - re lube.
Does Johnny allow potential customers to come by the shop and trial/dry fire different models of his triggers before buying one/getting help installing a trigger?
Just wondering why you don't record your videos in landscape mode? It would make it much easier for us the viewers to see what you're doing without having to zoom in or watch on a 10 inch or larger screen?? All you have to do is simply hold the phone sideways which would allow you to prop it up against things as well in the instances where you`re filming by yourself.... besides that I think that your videos are without question the best there is when it comes to Glock education!
@@calishark408_3 Oops! After seeing what he did, I ran to the garage and slapped some Clenzoil on my pistol. Now I have to run back to take it off. It probably will not hurt anything, but still.
Those guys look at you with glazed eyes when your explaining shit... I get the same looks from working IT... I get it, you do this everyday... Jam through it, explain here and there.. same thing I'm doing when i fix stuff. It's like muscle memory from repetition.
I’ve watched this 7 times and watching now. I appreciate perfection!!! Thanks!!!!
Great instruction. I always get lots of good info watching This guy. What a professor!
I always look forward to another Johnny Glock video and re-watch previous videos frequently! 👊✌

Don't worry about length of the video. If we could be invisible and just hang around the shop, seeing what everyone does, we would.

Thanks for sharing jglock
These are incredibly fascinating videos.
Knowledge is power thanks for sharing so many tech tips . JG the best
Thank you Gentlemen. Great tips
Man, these videos are wonderful... it's like having a Glock library.
Have a combat conversion coming from you. Now I cant wait for that trigger shoe!
Finally a new video! Need to get you doing more of these. Hey buddy.
See you tomorrow buddy
2 oz. Dawn 1 oz. denatured alcohol mix first 2 then add water 13 oz. Water equals 16 oz. savings.
good info... thanks Johnny...
Enjoyed this. Thanks
Only Johny with a doctorate degree in glockology can do glock surgery . Outstanding Johny !!
Great stuff. You really know how to take care of your customers & I learned a lot.
thank you Johnny now I know what to polish
Just ordered another trigger Johnny. Keep the videos coming. Reset part 2 and 3 maybe.
Always entertaining and informative, thanks Johnny hope to see you again soon
Great video, it reaffirms why I only buy the JG complete drop in assembly, makes life much easier and I know it will work when I need it too.
Fantastic overview of everything you should check on this pistol.
My 2nd favorite Floridian next to DeSantis! Thank you again! 🇺🇸👍
Great Video
Well that's a moment that I would have loved to be there in the room....
Dang Mr. Johnny that was the best in your face trigger video I've ever seen!!! Wow, amazing Sir.. Y'all take care, Vern the oldman in Virginia
I just wanted to let people know I fixed the binary fire problem with my timney by using a lone wolf housing that let's me limit over travel.

Great video. Dang that gun was dirty.
Always good stuff
Awesome vid.
Thanks Dude, Awesome.
I love watching all of your videos, been watching since your "EDUCATIONAL ONLY" videos.... and I dont even own a gun
Great to see you at your trade Johnny. Great vid! 👍

This is the best stuff on TH-cam
Awesome video Johnny. What grease is in the short container ( gold colored) . That u used between trigger bar and connector?.
Thanks for your generosity in showing all of this to us. Only improvement would be filming in landscape mode. Peace.

Great vid man, love what yall do. I know that guy was a happy customer when he left!
Hey Johnny. Gettin better all the time👍
Always great content. I need proprietary info tho.
Great content & I can't wait to visit your shop after I purchase a new G19 5th Gen for one of your magic triggers!
thank you John!

Love your videos, it would even be more informative at 2/3 speed 🤣🤣
The guy in green sounds like General bloodbath McGrath. lmao
Anything special about the striker and connector Timney offers?

I bought Q-tip's at(I kid you not) Burlington Coat Factory.

Where do we get your merch?

Any plans on some Johnny Glock hats? I need me one of them🙏🏻
That thing is filthy!
What about break cleaner? It works for me.
Does Johnny allow potential customers to come by the shop and trial/dry fire different models of his triggers before buying one/getting help installing a trigger?
I have guns around to try but most people come in there knowing what they want
Would love to purchase a shirt but I’m in Indiana!!
Where you Been JG?!?! Where that insane educational video package you had said you would once do?
make MORE videos please! i always enjoy the content!
Oil + carbon creates a gritty slurry, acts as sandpaper, and is especially bad on plastic.
Johnny Glock taught me that.
Where you been, missing the Friday get togethers

Johnny, I had the same question the gentleman with the blue T-shirt had. I have a gen 3 Glock; did you put Clenzoil on the cruciform?
I was wondering the same thing. It seems he only does it with Gen 5.
@@calishark408_3 Oops! After seeing what he did, I ran to the garage and slapped some Clenzoil on my pistol. Now I have to run back to take it off. It probably will not hurt anything, but still.
I wouldn't put any lubricant on the cruciform
Oh shit I used to work with that guy.
noice
Imagine telling johnny you had trigger work done previously and youre good hahH
Sub 2 lbs on the dot connector??
Binary trigger?
You can just compare against stock to see what you did... 😂
Don't be Liberal....be Generous.
