    I wish i had a crew of good dudes to come over and whip some shit out like that. Its nice to see. Im restoring my 96 psd. Complete. With lots of power upgrades. May as well rip out/ upgrade old exhaust. Im glad my baby leaked juice as much as she did over the yrs. The oil preserves! My starting on driver side manifold removal has just begun. I estimate 30 hrs to get that thing off and old studs out. Im a 50 yr old stone mason. This is not my "thing". Thank u for the visual aid. Mucho respect✌️

    Moog sucks ass. I was disappointed how cheap the ones I bought felt. Joint was already loose so i decided not to install them. Went with a set of Kryptonite, although they were pricey, I'm not trying to remove the axles yet again...

    is normal for a 6.0 Powerstroke to have an oil temperature of around 214°F and a coolant temp around 204 when running at 75mph on a 95-degree day. I will be going to college 7 hours away from home in the fall so I want my truck to be in the best shape possible. It is a 2003 f250 with 165,000 miles, over the winter I put power driven diesel heads and new injectors in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Was the gauge in the cluster reading normal oil pressure before pulling the relief valve.

      @@jkemmis100 it takes 7 psi for the gauge to register on the dash so no it wasn’t reading, you literally have zero lpo if your relief valve is stuck

    I did one test only... ipr valve changed by the mechanic, he told me low oil pressure pump don't work, I went to even half of your steps...( oil filter removed , push the valve and crank the engine, oil filter reservoir filled up in few seconds!! ) I didn't obviously take out the check valve , p.s cranking the engine oil pressure from 0 went up to half on truck gauge. I guess I have pressure? ) don't have any check engine. only an abs light on .. ! engine cranks but still don't start!! what could be? new injectors, top diesel filter changed. fuel pressure ok, ipr valve changed egr delete, air filter ok . the problem started with a stall on the road , than truck was starting for few seconds and stall again.. only thing wasn't changed is bottom diesel filter.. but if it was clogged I should have diesel squirting up from top engine diesel filter if just unscrew few turns the cap!!! WHAT COULD BE???? IS A 2005 LARIAT. ALWAYS WELL TAKING CARE OF.. ESPECIALLY MECHANICALLY!! PLEASE HELP !!!

      @@nikeandros need live data to point you in any kind of direction. Hook a scan tool up and see what icp, ipr and FICM are doing

    I have an 03 6.0 customer pay international to do a diagnostic on, and they told him it is pushing oil to the fuel bowl, to check injectors o rings, and the customer bought the o rings ,I removed all of the injectors they all looks good esept # 2 injector white o ring swollen but not cut the only diferent I spotted all of the injectors had some white under all of the white o rings I'm wandering if they're some cracked injectors cups. Engine starts with starter fluid for 15 minutes then wouldn't start again til it got cold again if you have any idea what could be I appreciate a tip.. I will help you with something. This engine was put in two years ago rebuild.

      @@Benjamin-oy9fj 6.0s don’t typically have injector cup issues, hope you haven’t damaged any pistons or rods by using the starting fluid, it’s way to volatile and ignites early making it prone to crack a piston or bend a rod. If your saying it runs for 15 mins then won’t crank back up till it cools off it’s more than likely a crank no start hot due to a Hpo leak. Being it’s an 03 with the early style round pump I would bet it’s the pump or j tube orings. Injectors probably shouldn’t have been messed with and sounds like the shop didn’t know how to diagnose either. What’s your live data for icp psi, ipr %, FICM main power, FICM sync and fuel pressure on a manual gauge when problem happens?

    Awesome Channel very informative I just replaced my vacuum pump on my 2016 6.7 liter diesel truck I have a question I was putting on my new vacuum pump and then I didn't have a torque wrench but I tighten them by hand I think I went over the 89 inch ft pounds maybe to tight...... from your experience what would happen if I over tighten them and do I need to go back and loosen the bolts and buy me a torque wrench and retighten them to the torque specifications or should I leave it alone..... Thanks..... Arthur

      @@brentmcmahon8188 cause it’s been sliding back and forth putting undo wear on the bearings and tcase. I have to send a customer down the road with a warranty and in good conscious that it won’t break. That’s why I do what I do. I don’t do half ass work.

    Nice job on the hoses and explaining ... For the next time you mash a finger , as soon as you can , drill a hole in your nail near the cuticle (or at the top of the mashed spot on the nail) -- I use a acetylene torch cleaner drill set -- the small drill bit will just stick out of the holder enough to get thru the finger nail without going too deep -- this will keep the nail from turning black and falling off -- Do it while still throbbing , the blood release will feel better instantly -- and you will keep the nail

    Ok what if I’m not getting 12V to the solenoid/relay when cranking the key, and the fuse is good? What’s next to check for getting 12V to the solenoid/relay from the ignition? Thanks.

      @@lakesiderenovationsllc you have something wrong with the ignition switch, wiring or something is actually in a do not start state such as the neutral safety isn’t telling the truck it’s in park or thinks the truck is in gear

    Does the AC dial need to be set in a certain spot when you reinstall the actuator? Or does it just matter where the blend door and thw actiaryor gears are lined up. Im only getting semi cool air right now. I also did take th batteries off or turn ignition 20 times like the manual said. Plan on doing that tom.

    What temps are you seeing out of the vents on these trucks? 60 degrees or better. Mine is at 60, new compressor, condenser, accumulator, and orifice tube. My gauge set broke so I only know that the low side is around 50 psi at 90 degrees, my high side coupler broke so I do not know the high side pressure. Any recommendations on getting it to blow colder?

      @@hartzellglj I’m not happy unless I have them blowing 50 or below. It’s all about tweaking the Freon charge and depends on it you low pressure switch is in good working order and cooling fan in pulling air good across a clean condenser

      @@ballacii I’m assuming you mean 2017. Yes flow rates matter, each injector is different and the pcm needs to see what the new injector flows

      You can A) flush the system with heater control valve in open position or B) disconnect both heater lines and blow out with compressed air

      Disaster prevention doesn’t but I’m pretty sure Ford doesn’t like the dcr because it takes work away from them

      This didn’t have any teeth broken, only the middle mounting surface broke but worn teeth are usually due to a bad starter or misaligned starter

    I have a 99 7.3 that is stuck won’t turn over we pulled the starter. We think that condensation in the cylinders may rusted the rings on the Pistons so we are soaking the cylinders in marvel Mystic oil . The truck set for five years, not running, but was running when it was parked. We do have a problem with the transmission leaking, but we didn’t think that the transmission could hold the crankshaft from turning over. Or could it? The transmission will roll in neutral. It’s four-wheel-drive in the front drive shaft turns we pull the plugs thing. It might be Hydro locked, but it is not. Any suggestions ? Where areyou located? Thanks

      What did I guess at? Deltas we’re high, how is that guessing? I didn’t know using a scanner with diagnostic software to monitor temps is “aftermarket” it’s literally how you diagnose most anything.

    glad to see you know what your doing! just subscribed. tons of diy people that put out content that is not as knowledge based. i don’t even have a 6.0 and i watched the whole video. i used to have an 05 and did just what you did and found bad STC fitting and injectors leaking down.

      Right at 300. Pretty sure it’s the pump. Either serviceable or non serviceable plug.

    Check your turbo pedestal , o-rings on bottom might have blown out. That was my oil leak.

      No, the axle shaft is smooth, coated in oil. It slides right in and out of them

      @@AutomedicGarage maybe mines just stuck because I had to pry them out. Project I wanted to get away with just doing a lower ball joint, but realizing the inner seal is leaking on one side. Wondering how likely it would be for the other one to tear if i pulled the axle out just enough to get the ring gear out the diff, or if I'm just gonna have to replace it all anyway regardless. I found your inner seals video to be very helpful. I'm starting to think I should bite the bullet and go ahead and just replace the other seal that's not leaking yet also, along with all 4 ball joints instead of just the bad one. Along with the other vacuum hub seal
