Thanks for a great and informative video. Maybe you can help me stop the delay when broadcasting live on RP2 to Mixcloud. If the signal comes out live with both sound and image, then it is delayed by a few milliseconds, and when sitting with the headset on, it can drive you crazy. Think you can solve via RP2, or do you have to adjust something in OBS? Thank you in advance for your help.

I must be doing something wrong , when I try and record with my camera app , the audio sounds horrible

everything worked great but today when I used my air pods, there was no sound. Tried resetting, reconnecting, and nothing. They work fine with my iPhone but rodecaster, I can only hear chime when it connects. Anything else I can try?

Thank you! I was trying to sort how to bounce tracks with my L-8 and you helped me figure it out. Mix minus, stereo breakout cable from one of the “headphone” outputs into 2 channel pre and output to 7/8 line ins.

Is there a button to mute the speakers output on and off?

I bought this from gear for music £25, its ok for basic recording but I'm having issues with phone calls breaking up after about 2 or 3 minutes, soon as I stop recording the call is fine via the Bluetooth onyxgo, this was my first proper phone call using this app I think it needs a software update, I doubt they will, also playback volume is quiet even though the record levels seem to be loud enough, the built-in mic is good quality, and I also got a mini wind shield for the onyxgo device which is handy for reducing wind noise.I'm using a OnePlus Nord ce4 , my main reason for buying the onyxgo was to record calls and this part is having issues !? If I overcome it I will update.

I am thoroughly perplexed regarding the overall purpose of this application, and specifically, the intent of this video. The continuous addition of these inputs, which lack any substantial content, is unclear-what exactly are these inputs intended for? The Mac application appears to be entirely ineffective in 2024. I am baffled by how it gained any popularity; it seems almost farcical on the Mac platform. Conversely, on Windows, the functionality is more understandable since it allows for the isolation of each source and the routing to these inputs. However, on Mac, what is the point of these inputs if they cannot be connected to anything?

I'm using the Rodecaster Pro 2, which allows me to set submixes where I can adjust my monitoring volume lower than the final output. There are four headphone outputs, and I can customize this setting for all four. However, this feature seems to work for outputs 2, 3, and 4 but not for the first channel. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I've checked the settings and everything seems correct, but I can't seem to adjust the monitoring volume lower on the first channel. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated! Could it be possible that this feature simply doesn't function on the first channel?

Thanks for highlighting these two mics. TH-cam likely sent me your video because of my previous views of the R0DE NT-USB Mini content. Sub'd. Recently replaced a Blue Yeti with a Rode NT-USB Mini (my second now). First time I really started to play with the R0DE Connect software. Underrated as hell. I'm finally beginning to appreciate how well it works with their mics and offloads work from OBS and post (DaVinci). I had NO idea the R0DE VideoMic GO even existed. Great solution that I can use on my camera and my overhead boom. edit: Just read your bio so I will add" Vielen dank!"

Is there a way for me to do the following: Have my Sonos Ray connected to my CalDigit TS3 via optic cable. Have my system sound play out of my Sonos ray. Have people on discord hear my system sound, so when I play spotify, they can hear my spotify, while spotify still plays on my Sonos ray. Have my mic plugged into my rodecaster duo.

Although my response is somewhat delayed, I must commend you on your thorough analysis, which I wholeheartedly agree with. I have repeatedly packed and unpacked the product, and as an ardent fan of Mackie, I find it both perplexing and cumbersome. Nonetheless, I have decided to retain it for the time being.

Looks like what you mentioned (provided feedback to Tascam), got echoed back and actually been improved, by reading their firmware release notes: "------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- F/W V1.30 (July, 21 2022) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New functions - Sound pad functions have been added. * Banks can now be changed and used during recording. * Playback sound volume can now be adjusted separately for each sound pad. * Sounds assigned to sound pads can now be normalized. * The volume of the bleep sound can now be adjusted. * Sounds that are playing will now continue playing even when banks are changed. - The TALKBACK sound is now also sent to USB, smartphone and Bluetooth connections. " Well done!

Thoughts? I see everyone saying you should set the Windows settings on the mic to 53-54%, which will be 0.0db (unity) for the Rodecaster. Then you can adjust the gain on the Rodecaster higher and it won’t be as noisy.

So I made a great purchase at Goodwill when I found the tascam for $40 minus power supply.i bought one online and it works like new. I think at this local Goodwill in the last year I've scored on 2 3D printers and 4 mixer boards and professional karaoke mixers.

I used to connect my Keyboard & microphone to the mixer & need to go for facebook live. As per your connectivity the sound comes to the phone is mono. Not stereo right? To prevent this issue can i use (spliter) 2x 6.5mm & 1 x 6.5 mm Connect 2x 6.5mm to Monitor out jacks of the mixer & 1 x 6.5mm to irig2?
