Unfortunately some people start smoking as young as twelve, so Sebastian smoking in his teens isn't entirely a crazy idea.

I think Demetrius' big problem, and the thing that would keep him from improving enough to be the best dad, is that he doesn't see anything he does in a negative light. Even in the cutscene where he gets called out for insulting Robin's design, he just says "guess I'm in the doghouse" and gets annoyed instead of apologizing 😒

On the Sebastion smoking thing, I’d like to point out that I’m 20 and have been a smoker for 9 years.. it’s more common than you think unfortunately

I thought thisbwas going to be about which romancable character is the best dad. of my three hubbies Sebastian is definitely the most attentive and has the most dialog qbout the kids. their names are Annabelle and Dorian if you're curious. Yes, Annabelle was named after the haunted dolly.

Sometimes I wish concernedape did a crime mystery side plot, with a real revelation. So people could really feel like the characters or the game have some stakes.

I really want there to be hope for Demetrius. He was one of the first characters I met and I instantly liked him, he just seemed like a sweet goofy nerd and he introduces himself as a "scientist and father" or something along those lines. I haven't gotten far enough into my game to know much about him and Sebastian, and based on things I've heard it doesn't seem like there's a lot of hope, but I want to think he has it in him to love his stepson too, he just seems (again, to me, with little game experience) such a good guy otherwise

One thing is with Shane’s schedule means that the farmer would also be really irritating for Shane since Shane is most likely trying to get to work at 7:10 and here is your character trying to stop and chat at (From Shane’s perspective) an incredibly inconvenient time so the rude response is just to make sure that you, the farmer don’t go off on a longwinded conversation as whilst he probably hates Jojamart, he still needs that job and getting written up for being late could jeopardise it - and also if he going to the job he hates, he wouldn’t be in the most sociable mood anyway so may be incline to take out some of this frustration on the farmer. Alternatively the second most common place is the saloon where Shane has made it very obvious that he isn’t in a sociable mood just by his posturing away from everyone, back to the wall (looking as uninviting as possible) and having the farmer come over might be very annoying since he just wants to be left in peace. - both of which wouldn’t be helped by depression since he probably would be isolating himself from others anyway. This is more just looking at his schedule than anything as that alone would be enough for a sour taste to be left in Shane’s mouth when meeting the farmer if all they do for a week is try to talk to him when Shane is trying not to fried since Jojamart seems to be the only employer in the area that’s hiring and would mean that he would still see Jas - since he still cares about Jas and if he got sacked from Joja, Shane would probably need to move back to Zuzu City and potentially only see Jas on holidays so it’s understandable if he’d be a little grouchy since Jas offers him a little light in his life. Basically the farmer would be almost guaranteed thee most annoying neighbour when first meeting Shane - but the farmer still keeps coming at the most inopportune times so he takes a while to warm up since both the depression and having the farmer show up randomly at the worst times would make the farmer a hard pill to swallow at first.

Clint's an easy target. He takes two full days to upgrade your tool (now you can't mine or water crops or whatever) and prior to 1.6 he was even worse because while working on your tool he would also cease to crack geodes or sell you ore. Then you complete the community center -- beat the game, like you're supposed to -- and he effectively punishes you by now being closed on Fridays to spend time in that community center. Also he closes at 4, early enough to cause many an annoying near miss that sets the player's schedule back a day. In terms of gameplay mechanics, Clint becomes inconvenient. He is often a bottleneck, to us. So the fandom is more amenable to accepting the most unflattering reads of his characterization, because they're already frustrated with him. And so "incel" has stuck to him like glue. Because who cares, it's just Clint, the asshole who takes too long to give us our pickaxe back. So the meme quickly takes on a life of it's own. Basically an even more extreme version of Pierre with his "weird" choice of day off.

Haley's outfit is S tier for me. Honestly, I think the brown/cream was the best colors she could have gotten. It brings makes her hair more pretty than usual. Haley? More like Slayley. And shout-out hobo Sam. That outfit is adorable.
