Couldn’t find the 3M 74 at local supply places. Tried 3M 77. Did not stay stuck in Florida heat. Tried ordering the 74 and could only get the 74ca (California approved - meaning won’t stick). Any suggestions?

I didn’t totally understand the suggestion to use Lauan under the T&G ceiling, that would otherwise be glued & screwed directly into the ceiling furing strips? So I’m guessing that you would screw and glue the lauan into the furing trips and then just screw the T&G to the lauan? This way you could unscrew the T&G and rip out the lauan when repairs are needed and then install new lauan? If you were going to not glue the lauan then why couldn’t you just screw (not glue) the T&G without the lauan and then you could just unscrew the T&G since it isn’t glued? Obviously, I’m not sure what you are saying?
