This video is so helpful. I’ve not only bookmarked it. I’ve come back several times over the years to remind me of some of these basic operations thank you.
Thank you so much! That is a fantastic compliment and I appreciate it. I have learned so much from TH-cam and I really love sharing with the community.
1.20pm Wed 26/6/2024 . I am having trouble with the timer, it is coming on around 2.30am on a Tuesday morning. Have watched video, which was very good, I have taken all the ticks off the days of the week, now fingers crossed I have done it.
Awesome Video! I had just ordered that same model this morning. Went skiing in the van this week, which was the catalyst to order a heater for the Transit Van. Thanks for the timely video!
Great video, probably need to watch this several times, tons of information here! Interesting stuff about high altitude wind and exhaust. That being said, this controller is way too complicated for the average user and the workshop mode should be a regular menu item.
Great video for setting up and running the Espar heater with Easy Start Pro controller, Thanks!! I noticed one possible correction but perhaps this is specific to my heater: Regarding indicator sensor setup 5:50 th-cam.com/video/vypj40Hcf48/w-d-xo.htmlsi=led-ChoNQaDL43pk&t=350 On my Espar AM3-B2L the indicator sensor is what displays(indicates) the current cabin temperature on the control unit. If indicator sensor is set to 'none' the cabin temperature will not display on the control unit. If indicator sensor is set to 'control unit' the temp is displayed. In other words, if 'control sensor' and 'indicator sensor' are both set to 'control unit', you are seeing the same temp the heater is sensing. As you mentioned, it is also possible to use an alternate indicator sensor which i assume would be available in this menu if connected. I don't believe this sensor has any effect on the heater operation, it just allows you so see the current cabin temperature.
I thought dude spoke way too fast (can slow down in yt settings but...), but after I got my Espar AS3 B2L installed I could follow along much easier. I've had some hiccups with my unit (not the one in my pants), so anxious to try the memory clear....

This is my new favorite van build channel. I don’t know what inspired you to share all of this by wow are we all grateful.

Did it work?

You’re going to love it. Be sure to check out our Espar trim video for your installation.
This is incredibly useful! Thank you!
I realize this is a bit off topic, but how did you mount the thermostat with no cable showing?
Great Video, Is this video for the hydronic or the air Espar?
How do you reset the time intervals as in 30mins to 270 with out turning it off
Well you managed to put me off in the first 5mins well done 😂

Hi, with the infinite mode does it just keep running or will it shut off at a temp and turn back into when it gets too cold?
Thanks for doing this. Very straightforward and helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi there, enjoyed the video, is there a way the actual temperature of the van can be displayed on the screen?
Not that I know of. I know a lot of people run an indoor/outdoor thermometer for this solution.
Mr. Thorough
Thanks for this and Happy Holidays
Happy holidays!
Y'all ROCK!
Excellent video but wish you talked a little slower.
Heater shuts off if I open van door
