The window has a foam gasket from the factory. No need for sealant. No lock tite on screws either. I’ve never seen one loosen up. I don’t see how it would hurt though.
Thanks for sharing. My slider windows just arrived and it looks like I will need to add a spacer. I saw other videos where the person bought or made a spacer. The gap between the outer and inner window is at least 1/2 inch but 3/4 inch also fits and is tight. I am assuming I need to create a spacer and think that 1/2 inch with the added thickness of the van wall will work. Does this sound correct?
Thanks for doing those videos. I go to your channel once in a while and enjoy it! For the air saw, do you think my 8gal 1.5hp (5CMF @40PSI and 3.8CFM @90PSI) would be suitable for this job? Or I should rent a proffessional compressor (10CFM and +). I dont see this information on the tool product page. Thanks!
Are you able to cut out a CRL Pill Windows into a fiberglass FlareSpace Flare for Transit 130"? FlareSpace doesn't offer a window option on their website.
@@AVCRIG ...Don't think I'd trust myself with that job considering the price of the Flares. Is this something your team would take on? And would you install the CRL window before/after the flares are installed?
I’d probably install them after. Easier to do and less chance to scratch the paint. Email the shop and we can send you pricing and schedule the job. Shop@avcrig.com
Do you use some type of weather seal? Also are the screws using lock tite to keep them from loosening up with road vibrations?

Can you share the link to the video where you cut out those vertical pats? Thank you.

I don’t see why not. As long as it fits. It’s a messy job, but definitely doable.
