About half my inserts didn’t line up, but that nibbler tool worked awesome. Quick, easy, turns the whole situation into a non issue. The AVC rack installed perfect. Outstanding product.
Roof rack is awesome. Love the look.. Next vid accompanying this should be - 'What can go on our rack?'. Hey, maybe you've done this already.. A focus on attaching awnings would be cool (as well as PV but that may have been covered already).

I purchased the V1 roof rack for my Transit extended length over a year ago. Would like to purchase the rear two blades of the new V2 to get the extra 6” length without having to purchase a complete new rack. With a Maxxair fan installed in the rear most bay there isn’t enough room to attach an 80/20 bar to the very end of the V1 rack. Hope you will consider selling the longer rear blades for V1 customers in the near future. Love the rack!
Wow, that would be awesome! I emailed the shop a few days ago and was told, “We aren't offering upgrade kits at this time.” If I email the shop again should I address it to a specific person?
Another terrific install video, the 2.0 rack looks awesome! Curious what the estimated loss in MPG is on the freeway and around town? Any wind noise when installed correctly? Also, when adding an AVC decks on the rack, can it hold the weight of two adults stargazing?
The deck will hold a party when you're parked. I'ver definitely had 5 people on my van before. I didn't notice much loss from the rack, less than 1mpg. Lift and tires are far more detrimental to economy. No wind noise! We did a lot of particle simulations to get efficiency and noise minimized. This is why we don't have a rear boxed in section at the back like some other racks out there.
I see you boxed in the satellite antenna. Did you end up moving it later? I am assuming you are placing solar up front as far as you can. I just got my 22 Transit and your roof rack. just need some time to install. Keep up the good work
You could move the cross bar back and leave space for the antenna to see the sky. I just don’t use the service. I use my phone for music and navigation.
Can you explain more about the holes on the roof for passing wires through? (Or did you already do that and I missed that video? 😂) Any tips on how to keep water from following the wires down into the van? Great second generation roof rack by the way.😊❤
I use SAE plugs when I wire things like lights to the roof. We will be doing a video on this soon. Solar pass through is its own beast and we have a video for that.

Email the shop. I’ll see what we can put together. We’d have to order a new set of parts. Should be doable.

Just drill a new hole and seal it silicone. This isn't rocket science here lol
The time you took to figure out where to put the holes in the metal isnt worth the price you are asking for.
