Great video!!! I wanted to ask you for guidence. I am coming back to fountain pens after many many year. I need a pen that is easy to write with it long stories. I need a pen with a good flow and reliable. Unfortunately I can't spend more than $200 dollars and that with a big effort. I am not going to use shimmer inks. Love the look of the Benu and Leonardo, but I don't know if they are good for my purpose. Thank you for you videos!

Make sure you go back and get the dealer's stamp on your warranty booklet as that's the only way to distinguish that you didn't buy a gray market pen. It will also allow you to resell it later at a higher value as only real pen purchased from an authorized dealer would have the dealer stamped warranty along with all of the serial numbers matching (box label, warranty book and pen itself).

I just saw this video. I just wanted to let you know that the wrench you received with your Asvine pen(Asvine wrench) also works with Leonardo piston pens. I found out on Reddit because everywhere was sold out of the Leonardo wrench.

Thankyou for sharing your love for Sailor Pens I guess mainly for Pro Gear Slims but looking at your Pro Gears makes me wanna get one to see how it feels. I have 3 in total my first was the Vega which is a deep Navy with gold glitter thought out making it look like the night sky fell in love instantly plus it was my 1st gold nib its something special the moment I saw this colour combo I was in love and knew I would buy it at some point and it didnt take me long. My 2nd PGS was the beautiful Night Sakura kinda similar in a way this time a translucent blue body with you guessed it gold glitter but printed it a beautiful pink sakuras all over if I was ever on the fence FYI I wasnt the sakura etched into the nib pushed me over any edge there was, also the ink that came with this pen chefs kiss. Lastly my 3rd pen which embarassingly is the only one I havent used yet and its been over 2yrs I am pretty sure this is one of the last pens I purchased before I shut down with pretty bad anxiety and depression last all interest in journalling, and the fountain pen hobby I feel in love with I fell so hard for but quickly disappeared from my heart I rediscovered. I knew I had this pen as I documented every pen I purchased. I freaked out to find it still in its box tag attached and all never been inked and I then realised my documentation was wrong 14k nibs generally arent 2 toned gold and silver OMG its a 21k nib and I never knew 1st thing in the new year I said I would journal again and this will be the 1st one I choose to use. So the name for this one is Harusame containing 2 of my fav colours minty tealy colour and PURPLE!!!! it is one of the most pleasing colour combos ever in my eyes and in a pen it really does speak to me thankyou again for sharing the pro gear slim love <3

I bought a LV bag kislux years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences

Not in an order but here goes: Platinum Izumo red (thanks for turning me on to it) Aurora 88 volterra (did you see they came out with a brown one for this year’s Viaggo Secreto line? Appelboom has it but I think I like the Pelikan Renaissance brown material more) Montegrappa beauty book special edition (grey stacked celluloid incredible nib) Lamy cc dialog in blue and RG trim ( awesome writer and beautifully engineered… matte blue material is really stunning) Platinum shape of heart (black) Second runner ups: zodiac pen Gemini in golden abalone (thanks for turning me on to that material) Kilk purple and cream… I literally write with this one almost daily. Hard to narrow down but maybe you’ll do a favorite 5 pens received in 2024! 😊

A well-thought out collection of planners. Like you, I am decreasing the number of dated planners that I have. I also love fountain pens and completely understand your enjoyment of this hobby.

Hi Lori. Congratulations on your 33 pound weight loss. It's a life journey, Isn't it? After listening to your planner and journal plans, my head was spinning. Honestly I don't understand how you keep track of everything, It's impressive! I'm glad that you create so much joy by using all the various lovely journals.Oh, and congrats on the condo in Boston. I saw this A5 Plotter yesterday at a shop and was quite smitten. But--the price is so high for this, even if it is leather. I couldn't quite justify $240 + for a thin ring notebook, even if it is leather. Also--all the accessories! I know that filofax refills work for the mini version, but I wonder if I would be completely bound to proprietary Plotter refills for the A5. These companies are very clever in milking you for accessories, creating a "system" and a lifestyle...Ugh! Looking forward to your long-term review.

Love this video!!!! I used to really enjoy having multiple planners/journals because I like variety, however, I've finally come to the conclusion that it becomes a chore for me. After years of experimenting, I've realized that a bullet journal solves my issues. I prefer the GLP creations author dot grid because it's a little smaller than A5. One lasts me around six months. I had to really be honest with myself and I use my phone to plan and my "planner" to document my day and journal. I like it to be fluid so one page might have a weekly spread and the next page I'm journaling and some pages I paint or even scrapbook in. I love seeing your stack and will have fun watching you use them. Looking forward to your set up video!

I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and love your channel! I’m in Houston…home of Dromgoole’s! I happened to meet Vanessa at the store earlier this year while having a book signing event there for my bestselling book “Cancer Don’t Care.” I thought you might find my writing process interesting. I wrote my entire first draft by hand using fountain pens and index cards. My book resulted from the significant documenting that I do about my life. So when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021, I documented and recorded everything. Thought this might resonate with you on several levels: the books you read, your father’s diagnosis and how you dealt with it, and of course my analog writing process as an author. Jealous you got to see Shane Gillis - he's so funny! I'm also not a reading journal gal. I like to note when I read them and give them a little rating, and sometimes a 3-5 sentence review, but the 'reading journal' concept doesn't really work for me. If I want to take notes on a book or write reflections I'll just do it in my Stalogy 'everything' notebook. That 2024 Weeks is soooo cute - I'm crazy about green :)

I dont know if I've told you this but I've been telling everyne I highly recommend dot markers they make a great visual reporesentation how things have been going at least for me I have been recording my blood pressure and when its high its red and when its low its green and so forth bpm steps food intake feelings all the things can be color coded with dots :) And their really cheap on aliexpress check them out :)

I had a similar situation with my reading journal. Turns out the book was adorable but too small for me to enjoy writing in it. Hence, my writing in ot fell off but I learned something about how to make it work better next year.

Do setups from notebook you like- I will enjoy it ☺️ The Yoseka Stalogy is soooo pretty! I love the paper of Stalogy but don’t use it as my Morning Journal (anymore) because it has nothing to close, like an elastic band. Would that bother you?

The pictures you've drawn of the pens are often even prettier than the pens! I like that you're drawing them in different colours cause you're essentially designing new pen ideas!! In general lovely drawings of the other things as well! I'm wondering if there's anyone who specifically and extensively tracks how different pens and nibs make them write different, beyond the obvious broad nibs making bigger writing and finer nibs making smaller writing....? I suppose some people have very consistent handwriting while others have more shape shifting handwriting?

I'd be overwhelmed by so many journals.

I have found my favorite size is the A5. I use my Galen Leather zipper cover for everyday. But then I have multiple extras for inks, scribbles etc… I’m also all over the map. Pam

I used to think it was crazy to have multiple books going, but you have a lot to keep track of, especially with multiple TH-cam Channels and a business! Also, I think anyone who sketches or journals is going to have multiple books! It makes total sense, and is a great way to justify buying notebooks in multiple sizes from multiple brands! It was fun seeing how you put yours to use!

Hi. I really enjoyed this video, i wouldn't be able to have so many notebooks, but saying that i use 7 TRC notebooks and love them. I also use the hobonichi A6 5 year which i started last year, when thus is completed i wouldnt purchase the hobonichi again because the last year in the book on the right there is that unnecessary writing which i do not like or understand! Thanks for sharing your lineup 🌟 For me, it would to be a little bit too much, but it's YOUR lineup. I use an A5 Tomoe River Notebook for my personal stuff as an all in one (Calendar, Journaling, Ink Logg ...). Need 3 to 4 in one year, but that's ok. For my work planner (I work at school) I use the Hobonichi Weeks.

I would be sooo confused with all those books that I would probably mix up everything and end up totally confused 😂 I love this community because everyone has their own way of doing things and we can actually take some ideas and make it our own. Your line up looks beautiful and since it works for you it's great. For me personally I'll have a Sİ B6 full year for my planning and to do lists. This year I tried to track my pen and ink pairings in a beautiful musubi notebook. But it didn't work. I realised I need all my practical info in one place. So I am using the end of my common planner as my currently ink if you will. Works like a charm for me 😊 I plan on continuing all my daily planning and info needs the same way. But if we talk about notebooks for different subjects, that is where my brain works in topics and 'boxes'. Boxes meaning a notebook each: one for my work as I am taking new courses for new areas I want to go into. That is my Galen b5 TR notebook in one of their beautiful covers. I have another notebook (a cosmo one) for a specific subject that I research/study for my own interest. And others that I use if I need to prepare a seminar/lecture. I use a lot of different notebooks and pens and inks. İt makes everything much more interresting for me. I started doodling/drawing in a different notebook but as I realised it's a form of relaxation for me, it goes in my Sİ b6 now. Handy and with me at all times 😊 And I also must have a pad at my desk at all times for the same purpose. The one thing I have been intrigued about is the morning pages people go on about. I would very much appreciate if you could talk about its benefits for you and your peace of mind in the long run vs journaling in your daily

If you like wet ink I would strongly recommend to stay in the Leuchtturm for your morning pages. The stalogy is so dry. I once had one as a (dear) diary and could hardly get myself to finish it. I started Morning Pages in 2023 and went through 4 B5 Leuchturm books and am now in the fifth, but I have slowed down.
