Thanks for checking out my latest currently inked video! I have a great variety of pens and inks to share with you that are fall inspired! I hope you enjoy it!
I haven't watched your channel in a while bc I stopped watching reseller content in general. I forgot how much I enjoy your personality and the way you look at things. You are so open, so real and accountable! No blah blah, but instead, you take an honest look at yourself and assess your strengths and weaknesses. I really enjoy that! There is so much fake-ness in the reseller community out there, it's so great that we have sellers like. you who keep it real! Congrats on your second channel!
One of the first videos I watched of yours, you talked about your dad and the Visconti. I'm glad you finally found the nib grind you to make you truly love it.
Lovely selection…… I live just a few miles from Haworth and the parsonage where the Brontés lived….and the wild moors which inspired Wuthering Heights.
Hi Lori, thanks for giving us a chance to peek into your pen case. Love the green Jane Austen ink by De Atramentis and just wanted to let you know it is not a document ink and will not hold up to water or light. They have a document line but they all have it in their name. All the best!
Great pairings, and lovely pens! I inked up my latest selection of pens in purple and orange inks for October (Halloween.) I'll be attending my first Pelikan Hub on Friday--so excited!
I always enjoy your pen/ink parings! That Maiora... gorgeous! It's on my wishlist, and I've noted down your ink pairing, it's perfect. I would love to see an overview of all your inks. I really enjoy how you seek out brands and colours that aren't very common. Thanks for sharing!
@@timewithtata8004 For sure it would be a great video - maybe you can break it down by colour, or your top 20... there are so many possibilities, I'm sure you have even more ideas. Since I've gotten into fountain pens I've come to realize I'm almost more enthralled by the inks than the pens. How many inks do you think you have?
Love your currently inked! It does not have to be tied to a months… I end up inking and cleaning out all the time if I don’t like a pen/ink. You picked a great variety and with all being so different it’s still so you ☺️ The Maiora is a very pretty pen (reminds me of a current new Scribo) and the ink suits so so well- hope you can enjoy it despite the history it has
I just saw this video. I just wanted to let you know that the wrench you received with your Asvine pen(Asvine wrench) also works with Leonardo piston pens. I found out on Reddit because everywhere was sold out of the Leonardo wrench.
Vinta Inks are from The Philippines and they have a Tagalog name and an English name, also a number that corresponds to a year and story in Filipino history. They also donate a small portion of their sales to education for Filipino children. It's a great brand. :) So yes, that color is Greenwich [Oras 1675] Ink window is the difference for the Leonardo MZG and MZG 2.0
My first comment but you asked for opinions on Asvine. I’m a lady who loves my Asvine pens…in particular I have almost all of the P50’s. I enjoy the P20’s also but the colors of the resin in the 50s has my heart. Along with the smooth medium nibs…I’d like to see you try one…the amber with ancient copper in it is so awesome.
Beautiful lineup Lori! Really enjoyed this video. Keep the Maiora because it is stunning. I think Scribo made a new pen just before summer in the same resin.
@@timewithtata8004 There you go, that's an option as well. A new nib would give it life if you're not enjoying it fully and are unsure. If the nib is screwed in, maybe you could put some other brands as well. 🤔
Thank you! So funny you should say that I have a Starbucks mug that coordinates so nice with my new TWSBI! I'm doing a reel about mugs and pens that make me heppy! LoL!
I have the Maiora in Ercolano and love it so much. I bought it for sentimental reasons, I love Herculaneum. If you have been to the archaeological site, the colours are SO spot on. I love the teal peaking through, like the Mediterranean. i confess I didn't love the nib that it came with (steel) so I popped in a SIG grind nib from Audrey Matteson from Franklin-Christoph. I have the MZG 2.0 in spaghetti sand on my wishlist. The MZG 2.0 has an ink window and the newer MZGs have a bigger grip section. I just got my first Leonardo with a #8 gold nib and it is STUNNING, totally recommend!!
I'm going to my first Pelikan Hub in Madrid. I'm so excited about it, I don't own any Pelikan, but I want to buy one, so I thought this was a great opportunity to see them in person and try them if possible.
I haven't read Persuasion, but Pride & Prejudice is one of my top 3 favorite books. Regardless of how you end up with Persuasion, I would *highly* recommend Emma (it is an absolute delight, nearly as funny as P&P and just so cute) and Sense & Sensibility (not as funny as the other two, but a beautiful, like, dual love story.)
I'm FULL of comments today! I have that Avine V200 nib also. If you got the Asvine nib, you can unscrew the nib and housing and it takes a Bock housing.
I'm in denial that summer is over but I'm loving this color palette! Now I'm really going to stretch myself and get some of these colors. great selections
I hope the MAIORA ALPHA ERCOLANO works out for you with use this month, definitely a keeper, definitely caught my eye, So now I'll do a little on line snooping .BTW that was a great ink choice.
I love your Aurora, wish i could have one just like it! Couldn't you seek for a replacement 14k nib for the Maiora? Feels like such a waste to sell it, it does look like Tata pen. As for the inks....that Enzo Ferrari, wow, gorgeous! I'm just starting my Pen journey so i only have a Kakuno haha but today i got a New Old Stock bottle of Omas Black ink from the 2000s! 130ml bottle and it is gorgeous and cheap haha
Thanks for mentioning the KWZ Smells Like Coffee. I just received my Sheaffer 100 Matte Coffee Edition pen nib. I have lots of brown ink, but I was just saying yesterday I should buy a scented ink for it. You've saved me a bunch of time! So thanks!
What is your favorite brown ink? I saw your video on the Stationary Fest and absolutely love the Sheaffer Fountain Pen you were testing out. Do you by chance remember what nib size it was?
LMZG, I think the grip section changed a lot. Yours is tapering down, it is getting thinner towards the nib. The new ones are different. I prefer the older ones. Hence I adore the Momento Zeros 😊
Thank you so much for pointing this out. I didn't realize they made ink other than document ink. I just went to their website. Jane Austen ink actually is NOT a document ink. It is under their "Celebrity" ink category under the Literature category. There are so many "celebrity" inks to check out!

Thank you! I am so, so happy with it, finally!
Yes, I have the Asvine pen and absolutely love it. I find myself reaching for it a lot.
It's a great pen! Enjoy!!
this is such a stunning colour palette! thanks for sharing 💛
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely GORGEOUS! Love the colors for the fall season and the pens, as always, I learn something new every time! Inspiring...
The Maiora pen with that ink is really beautiful - keep it!
Thank you!! I have been loving it this week!
Lovely selection…… I live just a few miles from Haworth and the parsonage where the Brontés lived….and the wild moors which inspired Wuthering Heights.
That is so interesting! I can't wait to start that book! We are hoping to finish up Jane Eyre this weekend!

I have two Asvine v200 and several other models happy with them all.
That's great! Which model is your favorite?
Awesome review. Thank you.

@@timewithtata8004 perhaps the Maiora needs a big sister ☺️

I have yet to try a Vinta ink, and I'm a Filipino 😅
Oras is "Time" in English

Thank you! It is so pretty. I think I just need to replace the nib and I'll love it! Yes the Scribo La Dotta in Travertino is beautiful!

Good to hear about the pens, I’m seriously trying to find my way through that maze. 😂
So many twists and turns and temptations!
@@timewithtata8004 it doesn’t take much to tempt me! 😂
Omg! I just ordered that montblanc coral ink!!
Isn't it pretty!

my favorite montblanc ink is psychidelic purple :)
I would love that ink.... and the Beatles pen!
I typically have 20-25 pens inked at one time. Under most circumstances, I don't ink a pen until I clean a pen.
Such discipline! I wish I could be more organized. I think I thrive in a little bit of pen chaos, lol! Thanks for watching!
How about some Pearl nail varnish to go with the 88?

Thanks for the autumn vibes! Now I want to bake some pumpkin bread and light an apple cinnamon candle and sip some cider and build a fire and…
I'm so glad I'm not the only person with a billion pens inked up. Ha ha
You are not alone! 😂
I'm in denial that summer is over but I'm loving this color palette! Now I'm really going to stretch myself and get some of these colors. great selections
Thank you! Summer always goes by so fast!
That pen case
I have Asvine P50 and it is really nice pen, big and substancial. The nib is smooth na wet.
That's great to know. I'd love to try another Asvine pen! Enjoy!

Ooh, I wish I remembered the size of that nib..it was a beautiful writer. Lately I've been loving Sesame Oil by Lennon Tool Bar.
I just filled my new BENU Sandalwood with Robert Oster Caffe Crema. Nice match!
Ooh, I'm sure that is a beautiful combo!! Enjoy!

Thank you! I really wasn't sure what the difference was between the two.
Also, the MZG 2 has an ink window.
Yes. And the trims on the cap are different
Is the Jane Austen de atramentis ink really waterproof? I thought only their inks actually labeled Document Ink is. (10 or so colors)

My Mont Blanc Around the World in 80 Days ink looks more blue grey than yours..hmm 🤔.
