I have such a soft spot for Sailors. My first ever fountain pen was a Sailor Pro Gear Slim Mini (the same Zyne Pink one you have!) and I’ve since acquired four more of them. The 21k nibs feel so lively when I write with them, and I just can’t get enough. Thank you for sharing your beautiful “fleet” of Sailors!
Thankyou for sharing your love for Sailor Pens I guess mainly for Pro Gear Slims but looking at your Pro Gears makes me wanna get one to see how it feels. I have 3 in total my first was the Vega which is a deep Navy with gold glitter thought out making it look like the night sky fell in love instantly plus it was my 1st gold nib its something special the moment I saw this colour combo I was in love and knew I would buy it at some point and it didnt take me long. My 2nd PGS was the beautiful Night Sakura kinda similar in a way this time a translucent blue body with you guessed it gold glitter but printed it a beautiful pink sakuras all over if I was ever on the fence FYI I wasnt the sakura etched into the nib pushed me over any edge there was, also the ink that came with this pen chefs kiss. Lastly my 3rd pen which embarassingly is the only one I havent used yet and its been over 2yrs I am pretty sure this is one of the last pens I purchased before I shut down with pretty bad anxiety and depression last all interest in journalling, and the fountain pen hobby I feel in love with I fell so hard for but quickly disappeared from my heart I rediscovered. I knew I had this pen as I documented every pen I purchased. I freaked out to find it still in its box tag attached and all never been inked and I then realised my documentation was wrong 14k nibs generally arent 2 toned gold and silver OMG its a 21k nib and I never knew 1st thing in the new year I said I would journal again and this will be the 1st one I choose to use. So the name for this one is Harusame containing 2 of my fav colours minty tealy colour and PURPLE!!!! it is one of the most pleasing colour combos ever in my eyes and in a pen it really does speak to me thankyou again for sharing the pro gear slim love

Gorgeous collection. I'm still kicking myself for not buying the Kubosakura at Stationery Fest but I was overwhelmed. I do have the Every Rose and love it so much.
It was so much to take in at Stationery Fest. I think the only reason I got it was b/c I had a plan to get it...there was so much I missed b/c I just didn't get to things soon enough. Hopefully they'll be back next year with something special!
Lovely collection of Sailor pens. That Hachimonjiya, is so beautiful. I also have the Sailor Autumn Moon pen, it was purchased on Amazon, and was my first Sailor pen. I have 3 Sailor pens, the Autumn Moon in MF nib, a Pink Transparent PGS with a M nib, and my favorite is a Bungubox X Sailor Realo in Cinderella's Slipper in MF. I'm at the point will only try to purchase a PG's if I was to buy another Sailor. I love the piston filler on the Realos and I can't see owning any more Sailor pens unless it's a Realo. Great video and it was nice to see your collection!
This reminds me of my first gold nib pen, Sailor PGS Spring Rain. My sweet husband gave it to me for Christmas and could not believe he spent that on a pen 😅. He has since adjusted to the idea. You have some beauties.

Such a beautiful crew of Sailors! The Yoseka Home is on my grail list, I get excited every time I see it in someone's video. I only have one Sailor so far, the Teatime Moroccan Mind Tea PGS. I'm planning to use it with the 10-year journal I'll be starting on January 1st. I'm still deciding which ink to use for 2025 in that, but it will definitely be a Sailor ink. ✒ I love seeing Lumpy, he's a superstar!
I have two Sailor pro gear slims… the cream colored one you have and also a nonble special edition with kinokuniya bookstore in Turquiose … cap is dark and barrel a lighter milky turquoise yellow gold trim. I love them. But my platinums are my fav with the pilot falcon as a real fav writer 😊

Beautiful collection! I have 6 Sailor PGS pens. The one and only Shikiori pen I have is Spring Rain and it doesn't post well. I'm wondering if it's the material.
I also dropped my every rose has it's thorn nib down and was soo bent. Matthew fixed mine. I dropped it almost immediately after unboxing it. I also fomd that that type of thicker trim on the cap makes it post less securely so my cap ends up being flung across the room every time I use it. Thankfully the cap has yet to be damaged but I fear that one day it's gonna happen

INK SUGGESTIONS: like you, I like brown pinks. I recently received Jacques Herbin Rouille d’Ancre. The first pen I put it in (an extra fine Kaweco) was a dry writer and didn’t like the ink in it. It showed as too light for my tastes but I just put it in my Aurora 88 volterra fine nib and it looked completely different. It’s pinky brownish orange… it’s in the family of Laban Aphrodite but the Aphrodite I’d say leans towards a more purpley hue and is a bit darker in tone. I am totally going to use both in the volterra! The online swatches I saw showed the Herbin swatch as super light. In the Aurora, it’s perfectly legible and I’d say mid tone not dark but not very light. Also you are collecting Montblanc inks: I love the MB miles Davis jazz blue…. It’s a really different ink. It’s kind of milky rather than transparent if you think in terms of watercolor: opaque rather than transparent. But is a gorgeous mid sky blue…. Nice for lighter colored pens. I’ve only seen it in reseller market where I got mine.
