Hello..brand new to your channel! I have been using Laura Geller for years now…and I am 67. I order it from the States, or QVC depending on what I am looking for. I use either the medium in the summer and the fair in the winter…and my last compact of it has lasted me since 2018! And yes it is still good to used…and just beginning to see pan.

I loved it until I turned 65. After that, I found that it is too drying - tried again a couple months ago( now 77) and confirmed too drying.

Your cholesterol is meant to get higher as you age ,it protects you ,I’d be concerned if my cholesterol went low as I age .

Merit cream eyeshadows are only matte. I’ve just ordered one. I’m so glad to have your tips with the size of the brush for application and how to hold it. Also, I have some Trinny London that may be matte. And MAC. Love your videos. I’m going chronologically backwards to see the ones I’ve missed.

Balance and Brighten is good, but I prefer the Balance and Glow ... I'm 68.

I have a dreaded double crown too! My mother who passed at 91, had such thick hair the salon said it was almost too thick to style. I got the short end of the stick (taking after dad maybe?) also hashimotos..and got thin, fine hair!! Me too on hrt..but it's always been this way, of course as the yrs march on it gets worse.

Noone cares what we look like when we are over 50 , just dont wear shorts and tiny tops😂

Hi Dez, your skin is beautiful. I never have oil anymore. I had cystic acne in my university days. You are blessed to have good skin! I have so many of those skin flaws. I get modest results from at home devices, with the exception of the Slimax device… it truly does lift and firm. I think it’s similar to a ziip. If I do this at the beginning of the day, it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t think the results would last. I have to use it daily but wow! The lifting is actually pretty impressive. I am blown away. I think you have plumping and will end up loving it. I don’t have any other devices to try after I upload the Slimax device. But if a new one comes out, I will try it and be hopeful because I have so many skin insecurities. ❤

Hi Dez, I think our “style” is the same. Unlike you, I don’t think I take the time to refresh my wardrobe enough. I do prefer casual clothes for my lifestyle and I like them to be comfortable. I love the cashmere jumpers but they do usually make me itch. I definitely need to update my leggings. I don’t know what brand I want, I want a high waist. I have spent too much on several pieces in the past! Great choices. I need to check out Quince! Mona ❤

Your skin is really glowing. Your moisturizer wouldn't work for me because it contains propanediol which I suspect causes break outs for me. My favorite daytime moisturizer is Replenix Age Restore Brightening Moisturizer. It's very light, has niacinamide, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, a peptide, some antioxidants, etc and is fragrance free. I know derms love fairly bland formulas but I think this Replenix product has a lot going for it without anything that would cause most people any concern. My sunscreen is the fragrance free form of the chemical SPF, LaRoche Posay UVMune in both the cream and fluid versions. It's got full spectrum protection including protection from ultra long UVA rays which is what damages skin cells, DNA and the immune system. AFAIK, this SPF is the only one that does so that's currently on the market. It's an EU manufactured line so it should be easy for you to buy.

Hi Dez - great video as usual! I have a quick question. I’m really curious why few influencers these days mention buying cashmere sweaters from heritage UK brands such as Pringle, Johnston’s, William Lockie, N Peal, etc. Have they stopped producing, have prices skyrocketed, has quality declined, or is it something else? I have vintage cashmere sweaters from these brands that are still in perfect condition even though they were thrifted and are in many cases quite old. Do you know? I always laugh when people insist that all cashmere pills because none of mine pill. Just curious. 😊

Yes, I think over 200 quid is a lot for cashmere - but if the quality is good, and you are happy - why not? With the proliferation of cashmere available at the moment, at so many different price points, it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking they are all the same quality. Not so! I have purchased Quince, at the very good price of $50, but have to say they pill easily, and the finish of the seams is really skimpy. I have a cashmere jumper that I got for my 50th birthday, so 27 years ago, and it is fantastic - no pilling, quite thick, and sooooo soft (it is Scottish cashmere). Just this week Macy's, one of the big department stores in the US, was having a sale on its in house cashmere brand, Charter Club, and I bought a cashmere hoodie to see how it stacked up. Bonus is that it comes in petite too, which at barely 5'1" is very important for fit. I am really impressed - the finish, the softness, the thickness, the seams - all top notch, and this was under $50. It arrived yesterday and I immediately went back on line and ordered a crew neck and a v- neck. Just thought your US viewers should be aware . Will give those Good American jeans a try - they sound good. Like the lighter hair, too!

Hi sweet Dez. I'm so with you. I need warm and cozy in the cold months. I've never had Good American jeans, but I like the way they fit you. I don't see a tummy on you! I love the oversized cardigan with the jeans. Great gray marked crew neck sweater and the wide pants. Unfortunately, I can't wear cashmere. My skin is so sensitive that even really good cashmere makes me itch. Navy blue is definitely your color. I'm a big fan of the front tuck. It gives me a waist that has disappeared. Great choices. Unfortunately once I had worn cashmere I was spoiled for anything else . For me I would rather own a few quality luxurious feeling sweaters than have a lot of average ones that I’m not in love with 😍 love the black cardigan Dez !!!!!!!!❤

I don't understand tattoos either..it baffles me!! 🤷 Beckman looks really awful, but women in general are even worse. Lovely young girls disfigured with tattoos all over their bodies! No piercings also, only in my ears, my then best friend in the entire world had our ears pierced at around 11 too in a little place in Fulham Broadway, too funny even the memory. Yay for longer hair too..the awful pixie cuts..not for me.. My hair too grew so much longer during lockdown, and I colored it myself at home, (before covid I was a gal who went every 3 weeks to the salon GF one little grey root showed) so I colored it for 2 yrs at home demi-permanent, and let it grow, my hair is also very fine and straight as poker..then I took the plunge and finally went to the salon and had a lob cut to the clavicle, so much fresher and better looking.

I agree, in winter, i want to be warm, cosy and comfortable, the latest trend is right down the bottom of my list, fashionable is good, in season, colour code of the year...the style of the season....but absolute Trends that are gone again next year...nope... my budget doesn't cater to that (well, no more than maybe one top that will give me that pop of colour and latest trend) as for buying a whole season of latest trends...I don't go there, these clothes end up in landfill....😢😢

I think cost of items is relative to income. In a year when I was feeling flush I bought my OH a joint birthday and Christmas gift of a cashmere hoodie from Ted Baker which was £250 but it's beautiful. Would I spend that on me right at this moment -no.

I am debatting going back to a local charity shop tomorrow, cashmere jumper in there for £9.99!! It's a mans jumper, but it wd fit....🤔
