Hi, Dez, I’m in the middle of watching your product suggestions. I just want to say that you are so pleasant to watch. You seem like such a lovely person. Thank you for your videos. I just turned 70 a little over a week ago. I’m adjusting to the new decade 😊, which is a little difficult, but at the same time, I am grateful that I feel healthy. Wishing much success in the TH-cam endeavor and life in general!
Oh that's so lovely of you - thank you so much - and belated happy birthday to you! Turning 70 has required some adjustment, I agree. So glad to hear you are feeling healthy - now we understand what it meant when our grannies used to say "as long as you've got your health" - so very true ❤️
Hi Dez 👋🏽! Lovely review of your favourite products! Your skin is beautiful and I love your earrings, they go so well with your necklaces! Thank you so much for sharing and take care 🙏🏽❤️💐
Dez your SPF should be the last thing you put on your face- if you need extra moisture put it on and let it sink in properly before your spf and let that sink in before your makeup otherwise you risk patchy sun damage. X
I've been using organic castor oil on my lashes. I have frontal fibrosing alopecia so have bad hair loss, luckily not lashes! Bought off Amazon, dark glass bottle. Just a little on an old mascara brush has made a big difference to their condition and not pricey at all and last ages... can also use on eyebrows and good for cuticles too....
Very interesting, Jan, thank you so much for sharing this. I think I may have the same bottle - just started using it on my cuticles. I will give it a go on my brows as they are a bit sparse. Originally bought it last year to see if I could clean my mascara off my lashes with it post eye op but it didn't work for that. It does seem to be working for cuticles, though, when I remember to apply it 😉
I’ve been double cleansing since I was about 15 - after talking to a lovely lady in our local boots beauty section. My skin was very oily at the time and the cleanser I was using seemed to be making it worse. She recommended carrying on with the creamy cleanser I was already using and then finish with a liquid face wash. Never looked back 😊
I have to suggest the NYK1 eyelash serum. It’s made a huge difference to my eyelashes and is prostaglandin free. I have a lash lift and tint done every 6 weeks and the lady who does them was so impressed with the growth if my lashes she not only recommended it to other clients but has started selling it! 😊
Your skin looks fabulous in this video. You made me count how many products I use, morning, afternoon and night. It's 15, not all every day. And I use a battery operated peach fuzz remover about every two weeks.
@@beautybydez I do a double cleanse when I wear makeup but no toner. I use an exfoliating toner every other morning after I spritz my face with Avene Thermal Water. But I use them for the exfoliation, not for extra cleansing. The two I alternate are Typology L21 - Exfoliating Toner with 8% Glycolic Acid and Allies of Skin Heroine Mandelic & Licorice Superfood Glow Toner. The one from Typology is a bit strong so sometimes, I spritz my cotton pad with some Avene water before I squirt the pad with the toner.
Yay finally got s chance this evening to finishing this lovely video. I enjoyed this round up of your 10 favorites. I have just started using my Rx Tret again after taking a month off (again!) I’m starting low and slow with one day a week. Thanks again for sharing all your faves Dez wishing you a very happy week.😊
Hi Dez another great video 😊 I am going to try Byoma cleanser, and also have a look at city skin clinic, thank you for your recommendations as always ❤your skin looks amazing I love your necklace as well would you mind sharing where you bought them, also have the same earrings but in silver ❤
Thank you so much! So, the necklaces: the choker is from Amazon amzn.to/3WBq5cb and the longer chain with the bee is from Alex Monroe: www.alexmonroe.com/bumblebee-necklace?nosto=nosto-page-cart2 - absolutely love the earrings, they've hardly left my earlobes since I bought them 😉❤️
Hello, Dez - Ooh, a lash lift! I've never heard of such a thing but it sounds and looks fantastic - I shall investigate this post haste! Also, I'm with you on the double cleanse thing; I didn't do this until a few years ago but now am amazed at how much stuff comes off my face on the second cleanse after a day of makeup and SPF. Wishing you a warm, summery week - Ruth
Thanks so much Ruth - honestly you won't regret a lash lift if you can find it. Have a great week yourself - it is rather hot today, and will be again tomorrow - but we're not complaining!
Your skin is looking fabulous today! I hear you about those pesky hairs. I look very carefully to see if I have any on my chin. Like you I dont want to have a long one blowing in the wind, although it has happened where I have missed one somehow, and then it seems like it grew long overnight!
Looking lovely, as always, Dez! I must tell you, as someone who is also allergic to fragrance, that both Cetaphil and Aquaphor are excellent products. My skin is sensitive, with a little oiliness in the T-zone and a bit of dryness on the cheek area. Your skin appears to be in great condition; people tell me mine is, but, the loss of volume in my upper face is the bane of my existence. Of course, this is what results in the dreaded jowls, which you don't seem to have. I do think it's partly genetic; my grandmother had, but, it seemed to have skipped my mom. I always double cleanse..I think that's really important. Thank you for another great video; take care, and be well. Rosemarie ❤️
Thanks so much Rosemarie! Sounds like we have similar skin. I also have loss of volume, and my jaws can look a bit dangly - you dont see me when I'm slumped on the sofa reading - then you'd really notice them! Agree genetics do play a part. Have a lovely Sunday and be well yourself 💛
Thanks Dez I think it’s very important to look after our skin it does make so much of a difference I’ve heard a few people talk about sweed products & I will have as try of there serum after I’ve used my one see you soon ❤
You look fabulous! Everything you're wearing is gorgeous. All the colors work perfectly on your face., including your hair color. Remember this whole look. Gorgeous 👍
Hi Dez, beautiful makeup look today and a great set of routines. I love the Byoma brand. I also love their ceramide / hyaluronic acid hydration spray for moisturizing my skin and pressing in after makeup to prevent cakiness or a midday refresh ❤. I started using a toner because of residue - ph balanced of course. Thank you
Your complexion looks fantastic here, Dez. And what a great thumbnail for a "10 years younger" theme -- you do look younger! Great video, as always. 🧴💗
Hi Dez thanks for another great video I hope your enjoying your Summer. I have enjoyed our Winter here in Sydney. I look forward to your next video as always
Aww thanks so much! I get my nails done at my local salon - they use a dipping powder and I usually choose a dark brown - I think it's number 263 or similar but I don't know the brand, I'm afraid.
