Thanks dearest Cindy! Just watching your 7 min skincare routine as we speak ❤️ How lovely to go to the ocean! I am by the North Sea for a week - not an ocean but plenty of water none the less 😎
Your hair is looking very good - the color is soft and natural! I wish I liked the feeling of a balm cleanser - but I don't, but find that Micellar Water then a 2nd cleanse with LaRoche Posay Toleraine works very well.
Great video. I've always worn Nars foundation but my last purchase was a dud. Quite drying so I'm on the hunt for another brand. I've just ordered the cleansing balm on your recommendation. ❤
Oh gosh I hope you like it! What a shame about the Nars. Foundations are tricky, aren't they! I found the Estee Lauder Double Wear too drying. What about IT cosmetics' serum foundation? I feel a foundations review vid coming on 😉❤️
Hi, Dez! Very interesting video -- I enjoy seeing what brands and products my favourite people are using (and possibly reusing). Your hair colour is beautiful. In fact, you look stunning! ❤️😊
Good morning Dez! Thank you for this video! Always so good to see what you’ve been using and liking or not! I have a room recommendation in the sunscreen category, even though it looks like you are well covered, no pun intended! 😂 I have been using survey, hydrating minerals sunscreen over the last couple of months and absolutely love it. I have so many different tinted sunscreens over the years, but this one is perfection. I often just use it alone, but it’s also great under make up. It goes on a bit light in color, but blends in perfectly, at least for my skin color and I think we have similar skin color.
@@beautybydez oh goodness! Such a goofy message that I will attribute to dictation! It’s Cerave Hydrating Mineral sunscreen. I couldn’t find it in the shops so I bought it on Amazon.
@@beautybydez it’s unscented, but it is only 30 SPF. But I am very impressed how well it blends into my skin and how moisturizing it is. I have used Supergoop but I prefer this now. It is a dewy finish and you need to “rub” it in.
I totally agree about the Cetaphil cleanser. It is so mild and gentle. I use the Ordinary squalene cleanser first. I tried the Clinique balm cleanser, Take the Day Off I think it is called but it made my eyes sting terribly so I am loathe to try another balm cleanser. I love hearing your recommendations; I am using the Beauty of Josean sun screen as recommended by you and I love it. Your hair looks terrific by the way.
Thanks so much Mags! I think the Squalane is the one I should have tried - well, I will try it now! Oh shame about the Clinique - seems to be a thing, though, with balm cleansers, so you're probably right to steer clear, just in case.
Hello beautiful! I am loving your hair Dez!! Great empties! I think at some point I need to try that Hourglass foundation you love so much. It does look so pretty! Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday Dez!❤
Hello my darling Dez. I'm loving your hair. You lightened it! The Geek & Gorgeous cleansing balm sounds wonderful. Any stinging around the eyes? The Squalene Cleanser by the Ordinary is wonderful. I've heard a lot of good things about the Beauty of Joseon SPF. I happen to love a scented body wash. Nothing to strong, but more like a spa scent. I love the Hourglass foundation. And their loose powder is the best, in my opinion. Thank you for sharing your empties. Hope you had a great weekend. Lots of love!❤❤😘
Thank you dearest Rene - yes, I decided to have another go with lighter hair - I am still getting used to it but the advantage seems to be the white bits aren't as obvious 😉 No stinging with the Geek & Gorgeous - really worth a punt. Now that's the cleanser I should have got - the Squalane - next time! Have a great rest of your Sunday - we are by the sea this week - great to get out of London for a few days. Love to you too ❤️❤️❤️
@@beautybydezwell, my dear friend, your hair is just beautiful! Thanks for letting me know that the cleansing balm doesn't sting the eyes. I'll pick it up after I finish the Ordinary's Squalene Cleanser. Enjoy the sea. It's probably so beautiful. I haven't been to the shore yet this summer. Hopefully soon. Have a marvelous time. Enjoy the cool ocean breeze! 😘😘🫶
@@reneklein6049 Gosh I hope you like it - but the Clinique didn't sting either so maybe it depends how we react. It's going to be 22C today and the sky is a beautiful blue so we're very lucky to have picked this week to be away - hope you can get away soon 🌞🌞🤞🏼🤞🏼❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! The bee necklace is new - I treated myself recently after the personal stylist I used recently recommended the brand - she had a little stegosaurus!
My go to products are. Cerave cream to foam cleanser ( removes all makeup apart from waterproof mascara). I like REN vit c toner after cleansing on a night. I the use Skin 1004 centella eye cream, Cerave retinol serum and Skin 1004 moisturiser. On a morning I use Sally Hughes Vit C serum and my eye cream and then Skin1004 SPF 50 ( I don't use moisturizer as I find the serum and sunscreen enough). Currently using ELF colour corrector and concealer under my eyes and Revlon - Blot powder around my eyes and Mac powder foundation on my face ( I rarely wear foundation in the summer). I have an Anastasia Beverley Hills bronzer, a Trinny cream blush, ELF eyebrow colour and setting product, Bobbi Brown shadow in a dark taupe brown which I use as a liner and L'Oréal panoramic mascara in Dark brown. Currently using Mac lip tint and Iconic London gloss over the top. That's me 😊.
Some great products there! I've not tried REN. Agree I dont use moisturiser under my SPF except last winter I found I needed it - also am using a tiny bit under my eyes pre concealer. Thanks so much for watching - have a lovely week - the sun is shining today in Southern England 😎
Thank you! No, no botox or fillers. Maybe the lighter hair helps to make my skin brighter! I have only ever tried botox once, in 2011, and it did nothing for me - I'm quite needle averse, tbh.
Goodness, you've gone through a lot of body care. I guess I don't take as good care of my body as I should. But I do have a question regarding the Victoria Beckham Kajal pencil. I have the same color but I find that it smudges down to my bottom eyelashes. Does yours stay put? Am I don't something wrong?
Oh no, that's a shame. I don't think it does, at least I haven't noticed it - the pencil, that is. Do you tightline with it - maybe that's what does it?
Hi Dez: Have you had the balayage done? Your hair looks very nice, and, I'm so glad you kept your fringe! I may have to rethink my color. 🤔 Going on to watch the rest of the video now. Rosemarie ❤️
@@lynettefinnigan9540 Oh gosh, no apologies necessary! It's actually a French word meaning sweep (as with a broom) but in hairdressing terms it means freehand highlights in your hair - how it came to be called that I don't know 😉
No apology necessary - it's one of those beauty TH-cam expressions or words like doe foot, tightlining and inky list 😉. Pilling is a word for when you apply foundation on top of your SPF or moisturiser and you get little balls of foundation or moisturiser on your skin.
Des, your hair looks lovely , dark or lighter. Your makeup /skin looks lovely in this video x
Thanks so much ❤️
Thanks for sharing ❤
Love a good empties! The Purito Centella is one of my long time loves...so good!

Happy Sunday beautiful Dez ❤
