    I have an opinion that I would like to share with you and all your viewers. I can't thank you enough for not only t time it takes to make videos like this, but the level of craftsmanship, skills that you detail, and t specific things that are important and explained how AND why that it is so. I have worked in residential remodeling most of life and will be using these gems of a specific type of work for my van, Thank you..😅

    In the aircraft industry, cabinets, galleys and bulkheads are built in a similar fashion. The panels are fiberglass skinned honeycomb panels assembled with finger joints. Bulkheads are typically made from aluminum skinned honeycomb panels due to high decompression loading. Great video!

    Excellent and detailed. Just to be sure what you sourced, for us Europeans, at 12:20, 1/8 inch plywood is 3 mm thick and the 1/2 inch plywood is 12 mm thick. Are you ever using marine plywood or only birch regular. Great job and great video. Thank you!

    I have had plans to build some toys over the years. The cost of buying these toys (a truck bed camper and a cabin boat) would probably require me to sell my first born child. I wasn’t sold on the concept of foam as until watching this video all I’ve ever seen it used for was a few trailer campers and kayaks, but I’m very much sold on it now. I will be undertaking these builds in the near future.

    Glidden was bought out by PPG (Pittsburgh Paint Group) and the Gripper that they now sell is a different formulation that doesn't work nearly as well as the original Gripper. Have you bought and used the new formulation of Gripper?

    When you're putting the gorilla glue into holes, decant the glue into a syringe and use that to put the glue in. You can see how much you're putting in and you can really get the nozzle into that hole!

    I love your videos, I like how you test these products and show the process, this gives credibility to you and your videos. And I don’t have to waste money on products that don’t work or aren’t as strong. My husband and I built a camper together this summer on a flat bed trailer and it’s too heavy for our little truck. Now after your videos I can see that 1” XPS foam weighs 1/3 the weight. I found your channel because I may purchase a 1992 Chevy Bus G30 and covert it into a camper.

I googled "foam build" just to get some ideas on how to work with it and found you. Boy, am I glad I dud. I definitely know now this is the way im going.

    This is an amazing tutorial. I love it. Thank you for sharing and explaining this so well. As a woman building things I have been building things with this foam but now I have a way to build better with it. I built a little mini laundry shed to travel with me when we rv with 2 adults and 4 children. This will help me replace my wood made base because it is the heaviest part of the little shed. I used wood to make it sturdy but this will help me make it sturdy and light so thanks

    I really like your concept and your way of finding the best solutions! According to your problem of too much weight in the drawers for the anchors in the foam, there is a very easy solution. Just support the edges of the drawer slides with small stripes of plywood from the bottom up - and they will carry all the weight without stressing the anchors in up and down movements.

  • @EllieRaarrrr
    @EllieRaarrrr 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

    This is my first time seeing this concept. I’ve not yet done a build. I think I would consider using this for external and dividing walls but use wood for the cupboard fronts. Is that possible? Or will screwing into it be an issue. You said something about this but I am learning about carpentry from scratch so I didn’t really understand the terms you used. Sorry can’t find the time stamp now. Could you explain this some more? Also I did laugh a little at the Starwars figures. Reminded me of when I was a kid and my dad made me and my brother an AT-AT out of wood because my parents couldn’t buy the real toy. Good memory. I also have a question, maybe I missed it in the video but what is this foam like for mould, as I live in very damp and interchangeable weather. Mould is one of the biggest issues here.

    Some clean, creative, discrete, efficient, safe and ingenious methodology, technology and or features for the, storage, removal, disposal (even if via incineration) of black/waste/water and material should benefit many a fellow nomad.
