Another good video with useful information. After we could not find the perfect house, our agent found us the perfect lot, with a local builder, and she stewarded us through the process of purchasing the land, and the monthly draws on the actual build. It was WELL worth the commission to have her involved, and we're extremely happy with everything. Please keep these videos coming, they are extremely informative...

If Boise fixed its infrastructure I guarantee you would not think it was so crowded.

quick answer could’ve been money, ie. cost of living brought about ironically by realtors sharing poor information on fires, politics etc.. leading to population changes - Idaho is NET positive on people - HIGH net positive; so why talk about about the poor few souls who can’t afford it ?

I moved to idaho from California in 2005 My experience here has been nothing short of a complete hate crime, My grandparents are from here, my Mom is from here I have experienced so much hate ,persecution, Slander even attempted murder all because I am from California Shame on you , who would think that hating and destroying someone's life could be so much fun.

I am looking for large garage. Small house. No radiant heat. Looking for Gas or Heat pump. No AC not deal breaker. No HOA. My dues have gone up 10% every year for past 5 years. Going up over 13% this year. Kid graduates (Hope fully) 2026. Won't move before then. Might wait for retirement. Don't think Boise is where I want to settle. Might if need to work still.

The Army Engineer unit I was in at Ft. Carson, Co. Had been assigned to help with the Forest Service Station nearby there to be updated. We did some whitewater rafting on the Payette River there. I caught my first Coho salmon on an ole Eagle Claw flyrod there. That was around Aug. 1983. We were there for 30 days. Of TDY. Still a few good memories of there and McCall, Idaho. They had a US Forest Service Smoke Jumper station at McCall back then.

Minor correction on Idaho being “landlocked”; while it most certainly is, it also has the farthest inland Pacific port west of the Mississippi on the Snake River in Lewiston! Container ships make routine visits and drop off cargo for everything from Costco to the infamous paper plant haha

Quite the opposite for me - we are relocating from CO because of the political environment here and our desire to be in a conservative state

Based on the recent national election, California is moving in the red direction. It's now a purple state. One day it may be red again, but I'm not waiting around to find out.
