Thank you for watching & offering you feedback! I’m pretty sure I’ll get some disgruntled comments regarding the north end but well…🤷♀️ Hope you’re having a great day!
I’m glad I found your channel. My husband and I are retired and researching different places to move to, currently in WA. We’ve been to Boise a few times but are not very familiar with the different areas. I appreciated your tactful way of pointing out why people like or dislike certain areas. We are considering 55+ neighborhoods and are wondering if the Boise area has many of those?
Hello! We’re happy you found our channel too and we’d be happy to tour you guys all around next time you’re able to come visit. And yes, there are a number of great 55+ communities across the valley to explore (with varying amenities and perks). If you would like to text or email us your email address, we’d be happy to send you over more information and/or schedule a call to chat. 📧 Marcie.ellison@exprealty.com 📱 208-598-3041 We look forward to connecting!🙂
Hi Marcie! With this particular video, not only did you earn my subscription, but you also earned my business for when we make the move to the Boise area. I will contact you when I’m ready. Thank you for your clear understanding of what constitutes a desirable area. God bless you and your family! I’m requesting your brochure right after I write this comment. Based upon the time-stamp, you can contact me directly at your convenience. If that doesn’t happen, I will contact you within a few months.
@@swagonman Thank you so much for the comment and future business. We would love to help you and will be in touch shortly. Hope your day is off to a great start! 🙂
Thanks for the comment! There are quite a lot of areas across the valley that are perfect for some - but then absolutely the WRONG fit for others, right?! The variety we really have here so often surprises people!

What are your thoughts on Mountain Home Idaho? We recently spent some time there and really enjoyed it. Of course, we are in California, so anywhere seems better at this point. We liked the slower pace, the military presence, and overall lack of insanity.
Thanks for question! Mountain Home definitely has a lot to offer. That said, like so many areas and towns across Idaho, it’s pretty taste-specific (people tend to either absolutely love it - or hate it). For those who don’t find it fitting, that’s usually due to the weather (summers and winters are both a bit harder than what we typically experience here around the Boise metro area). And/or sometimes people decide they don’t want to be that far out from the Boise area. But on the flip side, sometimes being further out from the metro thing is EXACTLY what people want, and they find that they love its small-town America charm & vibe. And then add to it - housing in Mountain Home is much more affordable. And they be also got great access to the outdoors & just a slower (& many would say more peaceful) pace & lifestyle. And with the airfield base right there - which is definitely a huge (and very cool) part of what makes Mountain Home the place it is… it’s a great fit for some! We’d love to help you explore it next time you’re able to visit us!🙂
Thanks for watching and good question! Nampa spans a much later area than most initially anticipate and some areas, especially those by the Sugar Beet factory and/or dairy farms can be rather smelly. But then there are also areas where that’s really not a problem at all. Just depends on the specific location within Nampa’s city limits. Thanks again for the question!
This is a nice, and very fair commentary on the area, especially the 'North End'... thank you for this...

By California standards all of the treasure valley is a gem. But there are areas that are better

I was waiting for that!!! 😂😂😂 I make fun of my friend all the time for moving to the north end.
Good to hear from you! 🙂 And it’s a beautiful area for sure…. But well… ya, definitely not for everyone, right?!
@Livinginboiseidaho-candid Ya I'll find beauty elsewhere! 🤣

Mtn Home has it’s advantages
Thanks for the video 👍. I have seen comments that say Nampo has some smells to deal with. Would you agree or is it not that bad?

Elections matter, all of Idaho should be a nice place to live.
Agreed.
