Wow...what a difference. I stayed at that hotel for 21 days last year when I visited Singapore. It was the Ramada hotel back then. It was beautiful, even before the renos. It now looks more 'youthful' and colourful, from your video. I really liked that it had a lovely swimming pool, a pretty good gym with glass walls, that looks out onto the pool and surrounding greenery. I also liked that it was connected via a door for patrons, to the small shopping mall next door, with food court, stores, pharmacy and a supermarket that carried lactose free skim milk and distilled water for my sleep apnea machine. So convenient. I told my friend in Singapore that perhaps I should retire in Singapore, living in a hotel room like this, where daily housekeeping is provided, self laundry facilites available, in addition to all the conveniences I mentioned earlier.. There's also a medical clinic, and the bus stop to the Toa Payoh MRT station, 3 stops away, is right in front of the hotel. If I get bored, I could move on to another reasonably priced hotel with great facilities and location. Enjoyed your video.
