Turtle soup my favourite. There was a famous turtle soup restaurant at MacPherson near the old MacPherson hawker centre that had been abolished. Not sure the shop is still there.
@TheKrazyKoala Do try SER SENG. Google this name and Macpherson area. It's better.. much better. I've tried both. Expensive though.. try the smallest portion for a start.
How’s tis compare to Geylang? Geylang & MacPherson are my fav all these years. I jus ask for meat & liver only. Whereas my son luv the cordycep chicken
I cannot remember the texture, but as often it boils down to the herbs and seasoning. Like snake, if you do not know it is snake, you feel it is just chicken.
Turtle Soup, never tried this before. Maybe I shall try once in a while. Swee Choon dim sum was my favourite too. After watching so many of your videos. Now I just realised you are a big eater, same as me. ☺️😊😄😃😁. Enjoy your food KK. Have a nice weekend. 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
0:58, The menu looks like Bak Kut Teh, but it's not, except the soup. 1:12, It looks like Bak Kut Teh. Do you agree that it looks like Bak Kut Teh and have you try it, if so, how's the taste? I eat Bak Kut Teh before when I was a kid, it taste good and delicious, but when I return to Malaysia 1 week ago, the soup taste a little bland and little disappointing, but it's good and delicious. But 1 Bak Kut Teh cost 19 to 20RM (Ringgit), which is quite pricey, but I still eat it and it's good and delicious, even though the soup taste a little bland. You just try Bak Kut Teh when you visit Malaysia, same as Lo Mai Kai, it's good and delicious.
Also, not sure you know, I also eat Lo Mai Kai with chicken before when I was a kid, it's good and delicious. To this day, I still eat Lo Mai Kai and it's also a must try when you visit Malaysia.
Not endorsed by STB and they never acknowledge it and it's expensive for a hawker meal. Can try the expensive zi char in Geylang makes u vomit blood, 1k per meal.
Hi Koala, Singapore cuisine seems so diverse. The restaurant robot workers are interesting to see. Have you ever tried alligator soup? Thanks for sharing your travel food vlog. 🥢
This is not sea turtle and very nutritious for ladies. Try to avoid hard liquor and durians a few days before and after eating this dish. You may get nose bleeding too.
Wrong picture used in your Thumbnail... Its not an endangered Sea Turtle... But a farmed freshwater soft shell Turtle. I have always loved Turtle Soup...
6:52, What, you visit Turkmenistan for the 1st time to see the Gates of hell? No way, wow, I am glad your visa is approved to enter Turkmenistan for the 1st time, how is it?
