You are right …. Passion is the main career motivator and driver. I always told my daughter when we were talking about what job she would like to take up: if you wake up every morning (or most mornings) excited and looking forward to get to work, you’re in the right job, no matter what other people say. I’m glad to say she has found her passion and is as motivated in her job today as when she first started. You need to do what you love, and love what you do. That’s my motto.

Hi Koala, For me very simple sometime I go Starbucks have a nice hot cappuccino or Caffe latte. If too lazy to go out just go down stair have a nice kopi-c.
What I personally find easier and more fun to do for pop, is just play chords or backing tracks on the piano (or guitar/ukulele if you prefer) and sing the main melody+lyrics instead…..let the voice be the main instrument, and the effort on the hands will be less……lol. you can try that if you haven’t done so…….it’s like karaoke plus instrument playing all in one! ❤ Yeah I can also relate to passion vs career thingee too. Love for music but yet ended up in excelling in left brained endeavors and landing a left brained career, sigh. Though my music teachers said I had musical talent, somehow I didn’t excel academically for music exams, which were based on classical pieces while my preference has always been jazz or contemporary pop….😬
