11 years ago now, as of my writing this. I've watched quite a few of these videos lately, all 11 years old now. There's just no words. So, so difficult, yet something so, so simple... but made to be extremely complexly difficult because of the general misunderstanding of the matter. So simple... to love the way you "naturally feel", yet fear of being rejected for that, if it's known by others. Oh what a nearly impossibly difficult burden to unfairly have to carry. Wow, Jacob... you're SOOO cute, and such a sweet, deep heart. I'd probably fall head over heels in love with you, if reality and life had provided for that possibility. If that were mutual... oh my. I guess at least dreaming of that kind of life-fulfillment is better than nothing. Maybe? I want to kiss you... and love you. 💞

I loved this video so much Jacob and I love you for making it to help others. In fact a week or so after watching it I came out on social media, first day of June, Pride month. I am 56 years old and knew I was Gay at 15 but due to some traumatic events in High School I stayed in the closet for 35 years. Came out to family at 50 and my best friend from HS at 55 and now everyone else at 56. Best thing I ever did. A huge weight lifted off my shoulders, finally being me for the first time in my life, out and proud.

Say it five times out loud. The more you say it the easier you will come to terms with it. Your not a bad person as we have been lead to believe. You are worthy and you do deserve to be loved .your learning and growing inside on your way to being a man. You'll fall at times but reach inside and find that strength and pick yourself up again. Hard parts over admitting to yourself who you are. You've accomplished at a young age something alot of us older generation men have struggled our whole lives to learn and accept. Be strong when that right one comes along you'll know. Look In his eyes. You'll see what i mean. Be happy and have fun on your journey.

Consider this: being gay is not a burden. It is not a scar. It's a gift. It causes the person who is gay to realize very deeply their own humanity; to develop empathy for others who are also marginalized; and to see very clearly the motives of certain "revered" ways of thinking, like religious and social constructs. We get bullied, out own government works against our interests, we are often denied out natural creativity and out inherent humanity. But still we persist. I long ago stopped believing in a god, but were there to be such a thing as the children of god, it would be gay persons.

Greetings Jacob from Nice in the South of France 🇫🇷 I've just watched your very touching coming out video and I just wanted to let you know that you are a beautiful human being and you deserve to be loved, and you must never put yourself down and never for one minute think that you don't deserve love. And if people can't accept you for who you are that is all on them and not you. I remember before I came out to my very religious family while I was at college and away from home and actually contemplating suicide and reading up so much about ending my life as for year's I was taught that being gay was so wrong especially within my strict Muslim faith and I was so incredibly heartbroken that I was going to die in my college apartment al alone. And to this day I really can't remember were I got the strength to go home one Saturday and tell my parents I'm Gay and I love them and hoped that their religious beliefs would allow them to love me back as I did them. Anyway 1 year later I'm still here a much happier person and feel so good that my ultra religious parents accepted me for who I am, we hugged and cried so much and for the very first time in my life my father told me that he loved me and his love for me was far more important than what religion had taught him. Watching you coming out brought all the emotions I felt rushing back to me, and I really just wanted to hug you so much. Just watching this made me cry and has shown me already that you are a very special person and I wish you all the love in the world take care and please accept my virtual hugs for across the miles 💕

You are a nice looking young man. Never be scared of who you are. I also was in the military and from a religious family. For me they already knew, but never wanted me to tell them. They wanted to love me the way I am. For those that don't accept you they never were your friend, they are being selfish at that point. They should be happy for you at that point, then let it go. Good luck, but be careful about being naive. As an old male gay people can burn you just like straight people do. Been there, done that. I'm a nice guy to, but be careful who you trust.

When I was around 8 years old I fell totally in love with my best male friend and stayed that way for at least another 10 years ! And that was in the late 1950’s into the 1960’s. Very difficult times for me.

Religion is more about exclusion. Homosexuality is a normal part of the spectrum in the animal kingdom. Biologically, it's a population limiter in times of stress for group survival in the wild, where we came from. On an individual level when the mother is heavily stressed and/or, has had a few children already, the outcome with new members of the family, the child is gay, is much more likely, an outcome. Those offspring come with very insightful and nurturing abilities with usually, are quite intelligent. In these things, they offer so much to the groups survival. Remember, that ones genes are packed replete with living history of what's gone on before, but are the SURVIVORS of that history and you only have survived through the group. Genes of course are survived through the individual, but they are for the group! The human species. All life of every creature is this. Gay is normal and the people should be cherished. The group becomes much stronger! Note why knowledge has been enabled to occur and flourish- it ALWAYS has grown when superstitions are shoved to the background. The more diminished they have become, the greater the advances in truth! Kick it to the curb.

What needs to happen is take the churches out of their tax free haven and those clown televangelists money making ways unless they build hospitals and charity handouts, but also Make them liable for the emotional 'moral' blackmail damage. The harm that can lead to suicide as a consequence, to precious, often to young promising people, as this young guy is. Fuck, it makes me angry. Many people can have such compromised lives with what is really a devastated life, over this clown town religious shit. Way over due to be stamped it out!
