So happy for you, and I can even vouch for you regarding how much happier coming out and being free makes a person. I first started coming out early last June (pretty close to you!) and I can say that this has also been one of the greatest years of my 19 year old life. You're such an inspiration, especially for young people like myself. I'll keep coming back to your videos :)

So, it's been a good year for you! Don't you wish everyone who came out had as good of an experience as you did. That's unfortunate for many! I too came out a little over a year ago (july 2012 and to most of my friends-parents and family no yet)
Coincidentally i was also 22 when i did it and so much has changed. I finally started to live life. it felt like a big weight fell off my shoulders because i didn't have to exhaust myself being careful of what i said and how i said it. Im definitely less withdrawn (still somewhat shy) but i don't care what people think about me anymore. I am who i am and they can take it or leave it. I finally drink and have a good time for once. Now when i meet people i actually embrace the potential for a good friend and not have to think "great, another person i have to be careful around." Congrats on your one year!
