  • So, I just heard about SB 2252 and wanted to provide some quick and raw thoughts on the subject. Also, there was a little bit more of this video that was accidentally deleted that mentioned my shirt. It is a shirt my friend Charlie sent me that says "I support equality in North Dakota" by HRC. You can get yours at HRC.org!!

I just want you say thank you for being a voice in the state of North Dakota. There are so many young kids-and adults- in the state who need a role model like you. Someday all of our voices will be heard. Once again, thank you for all that you're doing.

Thank you for the update, Jacob. Wish it had gone further. It will happen, for as you say, there is more support out there than in the past. Hang tough and we're here.

Some "not so good" news, but some really good news, too! ND will eventually get it, too! I'm with ya! :)

Things like this never change fast enough. But let me tell you this: I'm a good bit older than you and I've seen more positive changes in attitudes, civil rights, and politics than I ever, ever imagined was possible. I could never have imagined seeing a president support same-sex marriage. Things are getting better, faster than ever before. So don't let a minor setback get you down. A few years down the road we'll be laughing about how ignorant some people were back in 2013.
