I would be taking a good look up the rear of the inner and outer rear wheel arch as rust knows how to get in between the two panel joins .

Outstanding Amigos! Johnny forgot to mention to fit the rubber seals up you intend to use on the boot and doors for the ultimate fitment test.

What did you do to treat the rust in the cavities, such as the sill and A pillars? Reminds me of restoring my 124 Spider....

been a Fiat guy for many a year, from a 1500 millie cinquecento Fiat four eyed station wagon through 3, 124 Coupes I dearly loved the wagon, them were the days when we had no speed restrictions and Cortinas were to be left in the dust, the GT was harder to beat in a straight line but over Skyline, through the dipper and onto Conrod :) The was no dogleg then!!! I even got a mention from a well known Car enthusiast writing a review of a Jag mk 10 in an equally well known Motoring Magazine. Caught up to him going up out of Windsor and left him behind, he finally left me on the Glanmire Straights, but that's where I lived :) BTW it was wet!! Man we had fun!

I'm really impressed by the work you're doing. Your video's of the internal structures are also very useful for me. I have a CC coupe that lived in southern Italy all it's life and has very very little corrosion on it. So in order to keep it that way I've been rustproofing the body cavities with Dinitrol, and the views of the internals are really helpful. Thanks for posting this series.

Hi great work, I have recently completed a similar project on a 124 ac. I am now able to enjoy driving it. Just a small comment, when working on the window frames it is good to use the stainless steel trims as a template so you know they will fit exactly once it is painted.

my grandfather had one of these when i was a kid and i remember him fiberglassing all the Pillars of the car and the roof used to wobble when you got in lol....

I wished I had your stamia for such a project 👍

I would recommend welding a brace along areas like this when removing sections, as they lose strength and easy to distort/move
