Nice work . Personally i would have used the full outer section as that would have given you the oportunity to see inside the rest of the inner skin. thats not in any way a criticism just my thoughts i think for a keen amatuer your doing a fantastic job.

Why didn't you just use the other body
Hey mate, that was going to be the plan but after digging into the donor it was in far worse shape than the red car.
POR15 or KBS rust seal which I think is better . Weld through primer .

hey mate, for sure. I'm going to try and do as much of the restoration myself, but will leave the structural repairs to the experts.
