Я понимаю стилистику «без магнитолы» ради эстетики, но убей не могу понять, как можно пользоваться навигацией с телефона, когда в Порше его некуда закрепить вообще. Ну либо нужно знать дороги настолько идеально, что не обращаться к устройству нежели смотреть постоянно в малый экран телефона и дай бог слушать «повороты» через наушник, чтобы не пропустить их. Карплей спокойно закрывает именно этот вопрос «каждодневной» эксплуатации, ну или хотя бы родные карты. Надеюсь, что разговариваете в авто не с телефоном в руке

Механизмы ютуба сделали свой адский оборот и показали мне ваши видео. Подача материала и его ценность на высоте. Всю дорогу не покидали чувство что мы где-то встречались. Когда понял, хохотал излить посильно горе и пересматривать классику. Седина конечно не щадит никого

Weird question: wouldn’t it have been possible to wire in some sort of Bluetooth connector into the wiring harness to still have audio from phone through the speakers?

Great videos! The graphite blue color option was also my favorite, with it not being available anymore I would have gone for silver or (if available) gentian blue I think.

Thanks for the detailed honest review. It makes me appreciate the huge low down torque of my BMW 330D for daily driving which I've been thinking of selling. In congested cities torque is king. I would still love to own a Cayman.

Михаил, спасибо огромное за новый интересный канал! Смотрю и читаю Вас еще чуть ли не с детсва ( лет мне примерно столько же, 1976 г.р.). Интересно было бы более подробно сравнить с S кой этого и предыдущего поколения. Тоже рассматриваю к покупке, правда пока больше Boxer. Мне кажется еще более близкая машина к карту, идеалу удовольствия именно среди авто ( сам еще катаюсь на мотоцикле и есть лицензия на управление самолетом). В общем карт, но с элементами комфорта и возможностью выезда на дороги общего пользования. А особенно радует, что можно найти с механикой, хоть и редко встречающейся. Но на других её вообще сейчас почти нет.

Very interesting perspective, it made me think of the BMW M2 which is the "real" equivalent to the old M3 (E30/E36/E46) because the new M3s have become something else. There's a parallel to be made with the Cayman/911 of old times.

Of course I would get the cayman. Imagine driving by and pedestrians look down to see you.

I drove the base 718 in manual right before the pandemic and I have been hooked. Although i just ordered a 718 gts with the 4.0.. it's the last of the run so i thought i would get it. I still might pick up a nice base cpo boxter when it comes up..

I love mine! Only issues that I have had are that oil changes are extremely difficult if you do them yourself, and a drooping headliner.
