This was an amazing good comparison of two different 718 models. You have dealt very comprehensively the arising questions dealing with PASM and Sport Chrono in relation to the base specification. All these questions I have addressed to German Porsche Dealers, but I didn't get such worthful answers as you gave to us.

Michael, what an amazing attention to detail! I wouldn't even have thought that the gap between the glove compartment and the cup holder strip on the colored interior would be so visible. Although for me personally, this gap would still not be a reason to refuse espresso with cognac. It's great idea to ditch aluminum or carbon strips. We are really looking forward to the story about the impressions of the car after already six months of ownership.
It's less than only four months old🙈 But yes there are some chances to do six months review😂
Very helpful. I’m really starting to look at the Cayman as an option and the option list for the base isn’t as crazy as it is for the S but there is still lots of customization available and hearing an owners perspective helps.

Very close to my own Miami Blue 2.0 Cayman just a few differences based around parking it in a tight fit garage but I also love the added acceleration and performance of PDK and the heated steering wheel here in the chilly UK not to mention the 20" wheels that add enormously to the front / side on view - beyond belief.
Why don't you please show us more driving reviews of the base cayman, very curious on a driving review

Perfect! 1) how comfortable are the seats for long trips 2) how is the manual, as precise as Honda Civic si? 3) clutch take, pedal feel, braking modulation, in cornering predictable? 4) turbo does it loose steam towards redline ? Fuel cut off 5) how does it compare to other models etc . Really interested in same setup thanks 😊

thank you so much for such a concise and detailed evaluation and spec of yr car. i'm currently looking at a Cayman 718 S but u have got me thinking seriously of the Cayman. this purchase is part retirement/part childhood dream. i recently took the Cayman S and Macan for a test drive. so much power, so much fun to drive in city and freeway traffic. i think the salesman didn't read me very well. he was tyring to sell me a Macan and said the Cayman is impractical. all i kept thinking was it is and thats why i love it. we are dead for a very, very long time. did u give any consideration to the Interor package in Carbon which appeared from the generator to get rid of the 'shiny bits' ?

I have one question related to seats, I am considering the 18-way seats for more adjustability (thigh support mainly as I am somewhat tall guy - 195 cm), now Im wondering if the adjustability comes at a cost (besides added. weight) of being somewhat taller due to added electronics? Having my height in mind, head clearance is not great and loosing centimetres due to higher seats would probably be a deal breaker for me (in terms of the seat choice). Sadly the dealership only has the sport plus with 2-way adjustability option. Thank you and please keep the videos coming.

Getting the PDK - get 18-ways. Your dealer has the right one for you to try though.

It was around €55k. Russia was the cheapest place to buy the Porsche at the time.

Во-первых, делаю - у всех остальных видео есть русская версия. Во-вторых, у нас единицы новых покупателей Порше с механикой, а по миру они исчисляются сотнями. Может даже тысяча наберётся. Этот контент специфический, для тех, кто, подобно мне, искал инфу перед заказом. Тем не менее этот эпизод выйдет на русском, но позже - много работы.
