Is there going to be a follow up video or videos? This was a great start but it has me aching for more detail in how to cure certain issues. For example how do we determine how to fix situations where we can hear but not understand. The fitting software does not seem to be available currently.

Where can I find the Favorite settings I created in the Jabra Enhance Pro 20 app? I created a TH-cam Favorite setting and saved it, but now I cannot find the Favorite setting. Can you help.

Brian, I enjoy your TH-cam videos. I'm waiting to get into the VA for my hearing test in the beginning of July. I took a test on Signia's website and it shows I have mild hearing loss - almost all in the upper frequencies. I’m 58 years old and have a hard time hearing people in restaurants and any place with background noise - I give up on trying to have a conversation in these sort of places. Hopefully the VA will give me some good hearing aid options. If I was going to purchase OTC hearing aids I would consider the JVC EH-Z1500 - based on your review! Have you done a review of the Sony CRE-C10 hearing aids? Just wondering how they score out on your testing scale? Regards, Travis

I love your videos. I do disagree on the Rexton BiCore hearing aids. I was given a set of these ones by HearUSA. These HAs are terrible, can’t understand a word in group conversations, outdoors, parties, restaurants, public places, etc. I then went and purchased the Signia Pure Charge and Go 7-IX for only $2,900.00 on line and there is a huge difference. This HAs are great at enough“noise cancellation”, and perform so much better (by far) then my Rexton.

Do more channels provide better performance in noisy environments?

I am a first time hearing aid wearer and chose the Jabra Enhance pro 20 model. My hearing aid specialist has had trouble getting them set up. On my last visit she concluded that they needed to be replaced. Without getting into too much detail regarding what is not working for me I have a question related to the set up process. My hearing aid specialist selected the 10 channel option on the screen. I believe there were three choices; 7, 10 and 17. I thought that the pro 20's were 17 channels. When I asked why she had chosen the 10 option she said that it did not matter. The problem she was having was getting the REM set up to properly track the audiogram the way the instrument was set up and because of that she concluded replacement was required. I will find out if the replacement pro 20's are any better but I am loosing faith in the skill level of my HIS. My hearing loss is mild to moderate with a peak in the high side around 3k on the right side and a more conventional high frequency loss on the left and after the peak on the right.

I have recently decided that it is past time to buy HAs, and I'm leaning heavily toward the Pro 20. Your (and other's) videos have raised a couple questions. 1.) Do ALL Costcos follow best practices, or just select stores? I haven't seen anything to support BP at Costco. 2.) Unfortunately, before I could make an appointment, I broke an arm. What effect will this have on putting the aids on? From what I've seen, it takes some twisting and contorting with both arms to properly insert them. I can easily reach both ears with the "good" arm, but I don' know how critical it is to use two hands. Thanks for your time and the information you provide.

I am a 77yo engineer. I noticed I was not understanding even loud talk by actors at plays. I thought my brain was running too slow to decode words. After a friend's comment that by my high freq hearing loss I am missing consonants and not getting the words due to that. I have researched that and I am getting my Costco hearing test next week. Probably going with Jabra, but lets see what comparison teaches me. Your channel is invaluable, thank you.👍

I've had the KS-10s for about 2 years now. I had some of the documented, annoying charging problems (or lack thereof) with them as many folks did, but I could always get them back up by a hard re-boot. However I found out there was a software update to fix the issues. I took them to the Costco hearing center when I was in there (had no appointment) They gladly installed the software update in a few minutes while I shopped. That was about 3 months ago and they have been flawless ever since. If yours are giving you charging problems and you have not had them updated then do it, you'll be glad you did.

Notice the rechargeable has telecoil which uses a lot of power. So is that the battery charge life problem? The rechargeable Jabra does not have telecoil it appears.

I had the 300 and saw what Costco was offering pro 20, I returned my 300's still on trial. My fitter at Mobile, AL Costco her name was India was so thorough at my fitting I was amazed at how much time the testing and fitting process was no rush no pressure. Ah, Dr Cliff. IMHO, after watching him once I said never again. He acts like he is the hearing aid god and he knows all. His bashing of all other places and types of HA are junk if they don't get sold by him. I have a friend that was going to buy from him and after telling him about Costco's pricing he followed up and bought his Jabra pro 20's @costco. I love my Jabra pro 20's and glad I watched your channel. I never knew what I was missing until I test drove them and bought mine.

I purchased the Jabra Enhanced Pro from Costco about a year and a half ago and I am not happy with the iPhone app at all. For some bizarre reason it repeatedly disconnects from my hearing aids and I have to delete the app and reinstall it. This has happened 5 or 6 times already. In addition, when people call me they constantly complain that they can’t hear me while using the app and I have to put the iPhone on speaker so they can hear me. Plus, in my opinion, the app settings mode feature is not easy to work with. Very frustrating. The only thing I like about these hearing aids is that they are rechargeable. I previously had battery operated devices that better sound quality, better automatic pre established features like noise reduction, restaurant, movie, TV, and other adjustments plus, I never got a complaint from callers about being able to hear me when speaking on my iPhone through the hearing aid connection. Last but not least, I find the over the ear aids difficult to work with if you wear glasses or when using sunglasses. They get dislodged when putting glasses on and especially off. I haven’t replaced these with fully in the ear aids yet because the last time I checked the overall technology wasn’t there yet when compared to the over the ears models. After all my ranting, I will state that Costco does give you a good deal and that I am waiting for the fully in the ears technology to develop before I replace what I have.

Excellent video! I have an older Galaxy A12 and Phonak hearing aids. I have to add a step for mine to pair; after unpairing both in the app and blue tooth on the phone, I have to do a factory reset before pairing again. Something to do with "classic bluetooth?" I understand.

I’m so glad you have shared custody!! I always let my kids know how much their dad loved them as well as myself. It’s so important that they know they had nothing to do with you and your ex getting together or separating! Kids tend to blame themselves. I let their dad have them most all holidays except Christmas Eve which my mother loved!! His family was more fun with no arguing 😅 My babies are almost 49 & 46 and doing very well 🥰 Their father passed a few years ago. 😢 God Bless you and thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!

Hi Brian, I’m on day 2 of my Phillips 9040. I was hoping the 9050’s were already out. I inquired about the jabra. The person helping me suggested Phillips and asked why I was interested in jabra. I told her I had a jabra Bluetooth in the past and knew that name brand. I asked her why she was recommending the Phillips and she said there were LESS RETURNS with the Phillips. When I went back the next day for my pick up appointment and to pay I asked again why she recommended the Phillips and she asked (kind of rudely) do you want the jabra instead? I said no, I just forgot what you told me. We went in the booth, did all of the sound stuff and trying on. Then it’s time for me to leave and she pulls a pair of hearing aids from the cabinet. I asked, are those jabra? She said yes. I asked for the next person and she said yes. I just thought it was odd and felt like she could have also let me try on the jabra’s?? She was at our store from out of town helping out. My follow up is June 7th with our regular local person. Are people allowed to try more than 1 brand?? Also, I feel like these sound a little tinny and sound better when I put my fingers in my ears. LOL Plus…when my hair touches them it really sounds staticky. And what are programs???? I also wanted to listen to TV through my hearing aids and she talked me out of getting the device??? It’s all so new 😅 Thanks for listening and thanks for any help 😊

I made a huge mistake and selected Aetna for my insurance this year. They say you get $ 2500 per ear but only through 1 company that wont let me use Costco. Stay away from them folks they are deceptive in their coverage

Is the sound processor of the Plus the same quality as the Costco Jabra Pro? Are there the same amount of speakers, and are the app features the same? How many tuning frequencies? I would go to Costco, but they are an hour away, and their testing is booked for over a month. This may be a bridge for me.

I wonder about the quality of the OTC at the midrange price of $500 to the higher end Jabra. Now I know why the Jabra costs more.

received my pro 2s a couple days ago. this review is ABSOLUTELY spot on . . . totally good at what they do. not great, but not $2000+. i am looking for in ear placement. compared to the MDhearing neo xs, the atom pro 2s are miles ahead in my opinion. the neo xs's are feedback MONSTERS, really hard to avoid the whistling and howling. it can be done on the neos, but never at highest volume. the pro 2s are pretty steady all the way through volume level 4. the sound is pretty natural, really not that bad at all. avoids the "tiny public address system in my head" feeling of a lot of brands and models. level 4 is more than enough amplification for my slight-to-moderate higher frequency loss. these hearing aids are truly worth the price and will help you if you just need a volume boost. thanks for the video

Very helpful. I've been having problems with my aids going back and forth between hearing thru my phone or changing which ear is hearing thru the phone. I've tried the easier methods, but will try repairing. Problems started with the Easyline update a month ago.

thanks for the video, answered a few questions i have, I have signia hearing aids, just got them, so i guess im stuck looking to get the streaming TV box to use them with my TV and or windows PC. Question, is can i use that stream TV box accessory they sell - do i need to constantly unplug it from PC to TV for each use or can i leave it on one of them and use it for both ?>?> or are they gonna gouge me for 2 boxes so i can have PC and TV both connected to them ??? then do i need to turn off one box for the other, i really dont want to play musical stream boxes all day every time i have TV and PC on, i often have both on same time.
