I have no idea. I do stuff with tractors, engines and bits of machinery. Some of it might be interesting, some of it might not. Sometimes I weld things, other times I don't. Occasionally I sit and stare out of the window with my mouth open. You never what until you watch something.

HZM 816T Articulated Telehandler - Part 1
มุมมอง 1.9K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
I bought a Chinese-made HZM 816T articulated telehandler to see what it was like. I have no affiliations or sponsorships, I bought it with my own money because I wanted to know what it was really like. This is my first impressions and a quick walkaround to give you a feel of what I have actually got for my money. What I paid would have bought me a 10 to 20 year old Merlo/Manitou/Wiedermann/Scha...
500 Series cab replacement - Part 1
มุมมอง 2.2K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
I found a silver top cab for the 590 that's a lot better than the one I have so I bought it. It's arrived and we take a first look at it while I breathe heavily and wander round aimlessly with a handheld potato-cam.
More 175 Teardown
มุมมอง 4.1K11 หลายเดือนก่อน
Back on the 175. Splitting it up into small pieces so I can dump them in Lord Muck's garden without him noticing. Front axle and bolster are off, today I get the clutch out of the most abused tractor on the Internet.

It's leaking!
มุมมอง 4.1Kปีที่แล้ว
I got it wrong again. I didn't look carefully where the water was coming from. I found a rotted core plug and thought that was it. As usual I was wrong and it turns out to be a whole lot worse than I thought.
1080 Ugliness Delete. Part 3
มุมมอง 4.7Kปีที่แล้ว
As some of you may know, I have been off for a while with health issues. I haven't lifted a wrench for nearly three months. Anyway I went out for a bit of fresh air and to look at what needs doing and started doing a couple of jobs on the 1080. It's not much I'm afraid, but here it is.
MF40 Tractor Walkaround
มุมมอง 5Kปีที่แล้ว
Got it home at last. What have I bought this time? Should I have left it where it was? I'm starting to think I should have spent my cash on beer instead. Anyway, a quick walkaround and a look at it. If anybody needs the best heavy equipment transport at reasonable prices in the Norwich area, get in touch with A Steven Transport www.asteven.co.uk/ and speak to Matt. Massey Ferguson Lift Cover Fixture
มุมมอง 4.8Kปีที่แล้ว
I needed to be able to hold the lift cover in place on a bench without it rocking around and falling over as I work on it, so I built one. It will work on T20, 35, 65, 100 series, 200, 500 and 300, and with a minor modification, 4200 tractors. This is a prototype only, there are a few refinements I'd like to make including full compatibility with 4200 series tractors. If you want one I can make...
A few questions and answers
มุมมอง 2.1Kปีที่แล้ว
A long boring video with bad sound where I answer a few questions that have been asked of me over the last year or so. I forget to answer a couple of the questions, partially answer others and completely ignore the most frequent one. Why, just why? people ask, Where do I come from? How did I get here? Where am I going? How do I know Lord Muck? Does anybody actually care? Well clearly some peopl...

New 175 Parts. New to me anyway...
มุมมอง 3Kปีที่แล้ว
Been driving half across the country in search of parts. Picked up my replacement front axle from Matt Evans near Newark, if you need Lucas starters, dynamos or Ferguson parts, he finds and fixes and sells. His details are in a post I published last week. Then a bit further to Catterick to get something else where I make a very pleasing discovery.

Looking forward to more videos love old maseys in their working clothes
I'm glad I seen this video I got a old massey I move hay with the mutipower has been repaired 10 times or more all I want is to hold it back down hill I'm gonna pull it down and weld it up now that I see what's up
Good day. Have my 1967 MF 135 with Power Control Unit that I’m working on the three point. Where I’m stuck at is that I can’t find a specific manual for my tractor. Where did you find all the special tools required to set the timing, such as those blocks?
Is this video for a Massey Ferguson MF135 ? I have to change the relief valve on my tractor. I think the spring in the relief valve is broken. Could you make a video how to change the engine oil pump on a MF135 ?
Can the MF 168 8 speed box ( 4lo+4hi) be converted to a multipower box to increase the number of gears?
Welcome back, enjoy the videos
So I followed your video to take mine apart reason is my tractors pto wouldn't disengage. I tried taking the side plate off with the pto handle and it has resistance why would tbag be? I didn't want to yank it so i took a break
Looking forward to more videos Tractors are meant for working, not for show piece's
I agree. Thanks for watching
Thanks very much for the update. I'd love to see the videos on the new plant being constructed.
Thank you for watching
I thought you had more faith in the Tractor fans subbed, I watched to the end 'It's the 11.17 Baby'. I have respect for ALL your purchases, no prejudice, If it gets dirty it's worthy. Keep the rattle gun running. Cheers
Thanks for watching. Most of the subs are great, but there's always a couple of odd ones 😄
Junk you say ??.... Sir let me kindly rephrase your comment, you meant "Ruby red gems", would of been my choice of words. Compared to the monstrosity things I drive, Bambi CRAP !!! and those incompetent vegan mechanics who don't like their painted finger nails dirty. (I better calm down from my anger, it was last year they have not FIXED IT YET !!) Anyway as I've read in your description of your video what I would like to see? Short answer, all thee above, no particular order, As for what you've missed ?. It's obvious... a nice 3000 series maybe a 3085 ??? And as for those incompetent people who didn't watch the whole video of the Chinese telehandler and unsubscribed, my answer them, bye bye don't let the door hit their backside, I'm still subscribed very Happily, andI'll do like Chinese curry and sweat and sour too.😋 Thank you for producing and no need for saying "Thank you for watching", I enjoyed.😁
Ah, modern machinery, filled with technology nobody asked for.
I certainly didn't, However.... all that is about to change thankfully, on Friday this haggis eating b@stard (me) is going to enjoy driving a 3095 after rejecting driving his one year old 5S.105 for carting silage, my friend and the owner were even puzzled why, my reply "I like it", finally I'm diving after absence of five years, Massey Ferguson's again 😊, then driving crap again😖.
What I find gobsmacking about Ivan Kendel and north Norfolk vehicle solutions is that he’s pushing these HZM loaders, then goes and buys a merlo for his own farm?! His merlo set on fire and he’s started a social media war against merlo! Can’t have much faith in his own brand if he bought a merlo?!
I have no connection with him other than as a customer so I can't really comment. I don't know what may or may not be going on in the background, I'm just going to document my own experience.
Ive been watching Thomas Armstrong building the silo at workington - its only 3 miles from me ATB Dave
There may well be a video on that coming soon too if people want to see it
Those who have ranted and raved and unsubcribed well they aren't true tractor enthusiasts i think your collection is blinking fantastic even the new handler love your video's and you waffling on im going nowhere
Thank you, I appreciate that
Agreed. Its an old tractor it can look old
Can we take it that you are a heavy plant mechanic for this Thomas Armstrong outfit ow what? 🤔
Mostly or what. It turns out that I have a transferrable skill!
For fud's sake🤪 Great to hear you back 👍 Looking forward to seeing all those red (and one yellow) things progressing towards healthy working condition .......... and the Chinese loader moving them all into place around the shed😂 I dare say it's a handy compact and useful little machine around the place..........provided that the basics are halfways reliable on it. That being the case, beats a wheelbarrow any day of the week🤠
Thank you for watching
@ClarenceFudWeasel Cheers. I'm just reaching the end of a rust-deletion marathon on my 575. I went the awkward way about it as opposed to finding a nice cab on the continent. Things like the scuttle piece, I bent up out of 3mm so she'll not stir any time soon. Lots of cutting and bending and welding and swearing. Swearing tempered somewhat by the occasional whiff of isopon haha
I would like to see you do more work on the 165. Im from Australia and we have lots of 165 in Australia. Head work and brakes please
I'll get them up as soon as I can. Thanks for watching
I'll get them up as soon as I can. Thanks for watching
There’s nothing as queer as folk. Doesn’t take much for them to show their arse. No fear I will still be here subscribed and listening to your entertaining ramblings. With you all the way on the original look just as nature intended there’s something not quite right with the two pack show pony jobs. Scrap the backhoe you will have no regrets believe me.
Thank you, and I might buy one of the cheap Chinese mini-diggers to see what that's like too.
@@ClarenceFudWeasel you do like to live dangerously ⚠️
Love an old Massey.,.keep up the good work,Clarence!! 👍
@ClarenceFudWeasel Any video you put up about masseys is good, so would be happy with whatever you decide to do. Really like the look of your 165 it looks very nice. Got 3 Massey's my self one is in working clothes and is way to nice to paint but the other 2 were so bad they needed painting to preserve them but Ive only used enamel paint and left all then dents as they are the tractors history and my tractors still work on our farm as well 🙂 If you want a roll bar for your 165 I've got a flatford non folding type and im not that far from you. Regards David
Thank you, I appreciate your support.
Can't be the masses
That's true
Hi Clarence. Thanks for the update. Love the 1080.👍
Thank you for watching
Great to see you back posting videos. For me, just keep doing what you have done in the past, though a cement tech video would interest me as well. 😀👍
Great stuff Clarence, Thank You for the update, You won't be idle anyway👌👍🙏🙂
Got to be the 590 for me because I have one in a few bits. Most of it is scrap to be honest and i will probably end up scrapping it because it is so bad.
It can't be that bad, look at my 175! Thanks for watching
I'd love to see progress on the 1080 and the 590. Theyre amongst my favourite tractors and yours are up and together, just wanting bits doing.
Great mix of kit there Clarence. Looking forward to seeing progress on the 590 👍
Id like to see you get machines and upgrrade them bring them more up to date why buy cheap crap thats out there today
Still watching, think the 1080 for me, my uncle had one back in the ‘70s. Intriguing is a word you could use with a 1080..
I like the 1080 because it's neither a small big tractor or a big small tractor, and not many survived.
👍
Good video Clarence 👍as to future videos for me think its gotta be the 590 as i spent a lot of hours in them and the 600 series 👌 but enjoy whatever you throw at us even if its written in Chinese 🙄😳🤣🤣🤣
I would like to see them all working again 😁 PS my saying is use it or lose it
I enjoy all your videos and i agree with you in keeping it in its working clothes i got my late grandads mf 35 painted and ive regretted it ever since mainly because it was in fairly good condition and all those places on the dash and mudguards where he wore the paint through to the shiny metal with his knee or hand is gone now forever annoys me every time I think about it
That's exactly it. Each scratch or dent or worn patch tells the story of the people who worked and lived before us.
I am of the same option Clarence my 1250 is in great working order and will alway be kept painted white and look like its just finished a shift at west burton power station where it was delivered new
Couldn't agree more. Thanks for watching
Really enjoy your videos, looking forward to seeing the next episode.
Thank you
Maybe TA needs to take a backseat so you can get some tractor therapy mate, there's plenty there to be getting on with. Be good to have a catch up soon..👍
They will soon. We'll have to catch up for a pint soon.
Are you up or down?????

@@ClarenceFudWeasel may see you tomorrow, having a meal at your usual watering hole...
Brilliant to have them as working tractors 👍 You need something like a MF1200 or MF1250 in your collection I think 🤔 😉
I've got my eye on an 1155 and an 1805.
@@ClarenceFudWeasel the 1805 would be my preference 😉👍
It’s the 1080 for me please, so ugly but has a great presence
It's really got something hasn't it 😊
your money your kit its up to you what you do i will still watch
Thank you for your support
Do what you do, I will be watching whatever.
Thank you
Thanks for the up date You have a lot to get done 😀😀 Have a good week
Going to keep me busy, especially if I open my wallet again 🤣
I'd love to hear the 590 working . That tractor sounds the dogs nuts 👍👍👍👍
You and me both. I loved the one I drove back in the early 80s. V reg.
Had snacks and beer and saw it to the end! Don't care the order just bring it on.
Bottle of Landlord saw me through the show and tell. Cheers.
Thank you
Still watching Clarence, keep them coming 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
Appreciate the update Enjoy your mechanical journey. Curious why your employment is w/ building components manufacturer & NOT with some type of Ag Machinery ❓
I have some transferable skills and being a contractor, I just go where the money is.
Must be something wrong with me as I love your videos keep up the great work
Am I right in thinking that 165 is a very early one, with the exhaust in the RHS? Which engine is that?
