Happy 100th!!! Woot woot!! I too find the endless ALL the things made/read not very interesting. What I do like is things like "this was my favourite thing I made" and why. I also really like the podcast Ali Makes Everything because she talks about her process, but also how many time she wore the item over the year and the cost per wear.

Happy 100! So glad I found you and have continued to follow through your journey!! I want that Brown yarn!! Gimmee that Yarn! I will look into the MAL I totally get we all buy these books and they sit on a shelf - just go make a pattern you already own (maybe with stash yarn you already have too or hmmm some beautiful brown merino haha) I will also say I LOVE finding older books with writing in them! Write in those books! Mark that great recipe, note why you didn't like that increase and used something else. Tell me decades later this was made for Amanda and we can create a wonderful story about who Amanda is!

Hi Michael. I discovered you a few months ago. I think I was just watching your newest episode in which you talk about seeing comments on old videos after folks start from the beginning. This is me. Hi. In June of last year I visited Chicago for the first time. I fell in love with it. It doesn’t take a lot to win me over perhaps but I fell in love with Printer’s Row, Yarnify!, Sandmeyer’s Bookstore and the Harold Washington Library. My partner suddenly realized he had a huge nerd on his hands when I got giddy over that library, the owl gargoyles on top, all the floors, and the gorgeous venue near the top (which I didn’t get to actually see due to an event). I’m visiting again next month. Do you go to any knit nights? I’d love to try to do one if I can. It’ll be a short trip, just tagging along with partner and baby for partner’s work thing. But I’ll be making all those same stops. You are a refreshing and beautiful human. Thanks for doing this channel. ❤
