Lovely to see you back, Michael! Glad you had a great time in SEA and at the lake, filling your creative-community cup. You never have to rationalize your crafting here, friend. We'd all do the same in your shoes! Keep on makin'!
Episodes are never too long Michael - you have a lovely voice to listen to while I knit/crochet. Great to hear you had a blast at Flock. The navyblue in your Rheinbeck jumper is gorgeous - looking forward to seeing it when finished :-)
What a fun trip! I love that you Makers bring enough materials to share or tell others what to bring, so you can all inspire one another. Your Bolt sweater came out beautifully. Well done with that amazing design. Congrats on your new home - moving is a CHORE.
Welcome back! You are and always will be the Knitting Master! I always love your socks, especially, as they are my jam! Sweaters are so beautiful as well and I loved the mitts!!!
Take 90 Welcome back I am so glad to see you Love 💕 your ankle socks Left over socks the best yarn Your sweater is a big big success. Stripping socks two at a time the best method Travellers hoody a awesome choice
Your blue sweater wip is gorgeous, and i love your koala stitch markers. So cute. Thanks for sharing all of the Flock things. I'm so glad i got to meet you there and take a pic.
Hi Michael, so I started to watch and must have dozed after liking the video. Today I was missing your wit and your pleasant commentary so I thought I would just watch it again. Turns out, I missed most of it. 😊The sweater turned out so nice. So glad your time away and with friends was so refreshing. Hope you’re well, and getting a rhythm now that school has started. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Toodles!
Great to have you back! Glad Flock was so much fun, and you got some creative time with friends, too. Hope it didn’t take too long to pick everything up after the podcast! 😄
Oh that sweater!!! It looks great on you! I'm so impressed...great job! The textured sweater is awesome! Flock sounded wonderful. Sea storm oooooo, so good! Can't wait to see the roving spun! I love all the colors you chose with your fibers. I hear you were a great salesman at Flock. When you have more experience sewing, will you try to make shirts? And one last thought......you can never have too much green! I'm so glad you are back and still with us. If you don't pop up in my feed, I'm hunting you down!
Thanks for the Flock recap….clearly your fiber game continues strong….can’t wait to see the results of your spinning. Your bolt sweater is fantastic. I bought the pattern awhile back…thanks to you, I’ve pushed it up in my queue! Love the idea of starting with the boring stuff and saving the front until the end🥰🧶🥰🧶.
So much good stuff! I have a couple of hand spun socks and they’re the first I go for after wash day, you’ll love them! Idk, I say enjoy your green era. You may ease into another color one day. It happens. And all the multicraftual things are so fun! ❤❤❤
OH good to know about the hand spun socks. I only have one pair and need to fix the bind off so I don't wear them ever. I fell like i would love them if I did though. I'm totally loving my green era, it so lovely and peaceful. and yes I need to do and try all the crafts.
I also grabbed some of that mystery yarn at Rhinebeck last year. Still in my stash and so wish I grabbed more. I met you and the NATR guys and Jonathan, you were all so kind and gracious.
Welcome Back, Michael! So happy to see your sweaters.LOVE, Love, love the cable-raglan textured pullover; great color. You knit so beautifully. Impressive. Fire and Ice yarn is killin' it. Thank you for sharing. You are inspiring.
YASSSSS! Herbie Hancock, and especially Chameleon (a personal favorite)!!! So great to see you again, Michael! Looks like you had an amazing time at Flock, and the folks were lucky to have you working the booth. The crafty items you made are so fun! Looking forward to the next podcast!
Loving the sweaters as usual. Love to see the lighting one all knit up. Also, I've been watching some of your older vids and the yarn behind you seems to have multiplied quite a bit ;)
Good to see you back Michael! Love the intro and your sweater is gorgeous! I’m a fellow lover of green💚. I have to be intentional in having color variety in my wardrobe. So glad you had such a wonderful time at Flock. I hope to get there next year. Until the next episode…!
Loved this Michael. Delighted you have all had a super time at Flock. Cannot believe schools are ready to go back soon. It seems five minutes ago that you were talking about moving and school finishing for the summer break. Do you have room mates to share your woolly delights in your new place? Have a great couple of weeks until we see you again. 🧶🧶
Hey Michael! Welcome back. You've been missed. Your sweater is beautiful. Great yarn haul. Really enjoyed spending time with you. Hope to see you very soon. Many blessings. 💜🤗💜
Hello Micheal! Great to watch you again, but I'm glad you had such an awesome summer break. Flock Festival sounded fun with lots of beautiful purchases. I just started learning to spin- so addictive.
@@piece4peacecraftingpodcast I’m going with it . I don’t spin… but I’m not going to count any of my unspun “ yarn “ as part of my yarn stash any longer 😂😂
Welcome back. You were definitely missed! WOW everything you bought was great and beautiful. I love your bolt sweater. It suits you well. In this podcast You exuded so much joy. I guess not having to move and pack was lifted off your shoulders. Well congrats on the move and enjoy your new space. BTW what sewing machine do you have. I’m gonna buy. Myself a machine next month.
So glad you took time off for you😊 you were definitely missed. That sweater is just all that!!! Lovely. So glad you had so much fun with friends and together celebrated your time.
Michael! It is so good to see your video and hear about your current projects. Your joy for knitting inspired me to knit the Artus shawl and I fell in love so thank you for the recommendation. Question: what youtube tutorial would your recommend for knitting socks two at a time? I have become a sock knitters and have a few Woolens and Nosh yarns myself that I would like to knit during my meetings. Also, I too am a teacher and my year is also the school calendar year. Joys of teaching!! Happy knitting.
Yay!! I'm so glad you enjoyed knitting the Artus Shawl too. As for tutorials for knitting socks two at a time, this one is a good one to follow. If it doesn't click with you, please let me know and I can find another that may work better. th-cam.com/video/xn6tqy8O_OI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Xq5zc9mLeyvTOXYH
I love the glasses and the fan and the beginning, such a vibe. Your knits are amazing! Do you know a good raglan pattern for men? I was going to knit Ashley Lillis’ raglan sweater in Drops Wish (which I brought to make my brother’s sweaters) and now I’m questioning if it will work for them. I knit the sweater for my mom and it came out so lovely. I want to give these to them for Christmas. Thank you so much! Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
Okay so please correct me if I’m wrong but I think the yarn you want to use is a bulky yarn!!? If that’s the case I would recommend the Wave of Change pullover or jacket by Denise Bayron. You might also be able to do the Wrong Side or Single Malt both by Maxim Cyr if you can get gauge for those. Hope that helps. Let me know if you need other to look into.
@@piece4peacecraftingpodcast Thank you! Yes, the yarn is bulky, and I bought so much of it because I hear that men’s sweaters take a lot of yarn (so I want to use it). I like the idea of doing a different sweater for each of them. Maxim Cyr sweaters are in Worsted and then Aran weight. Does this mean I need to fiddle with needle size until I get gauge? They’re very close (8 and 9 wpi to the 7 wpi needed for bulky). You were so helpful, thank you again!
Thanks for the warm welcome back. Should we do surprise meet up this weekend? I would like to do them again now that I'm in my new place and feeling a little more settled.
Love the sweater! ❤ I’m too chicken to knit big garments 😂 I went to message you for your Spotify link, but Insta will not let me since we are not friends. 😕
You can totally knit a bigger garment, you just have to start the project and go for it. As for getting the playlist, I think if you click the three dots o my profile it saying send a message. I’ve for sure gotten messages form people I’m not friends with.
Look at him, with those shelves all full of yarn again already! How's Kendrick getting along with the new home/hood? All the new pee-mail stops to check in at on the daily walks.
