Bushwhacker Water Tank Support And Protection Modification
To have a 24 gallon fresh water tank is an awesome feature of our camper but to not be able to travel with water in the tank is a bummer. We fixed this issue plus provided much needed protection for the tank at the same time!

@@s.t.6769 thank you for taking the time to watch the video. We've had very good luck out of the unit. It does a great job hitting the camper and does not overheat the camper after the burner shuts down like the original furnace would do. It sized more appropriately for the size of camper that we have. That said it's just an expensive furnace. But it gave us back that Galley space that I really wanted. I need to do a follow-up video and show what the only issue was we had with the unit. It was very minor in a simple fix. We just got back from a 48 day road trip with our camper and we use the furnace 47 of the 48 nights. My wife is very cold natured and we keep the camper at 72° inside. The furnace just does a great job and is very fuel efficient.

One thing that it will not do is large surges of power. So things that come on slowly and then ramp up to full wattage or fine but the air conditioner without the soft start just would not start. @adventuresofthememorymakers หลายเดือนก่อน

@@grizzlytroutfishing8472 if you have a city water connection available then you do not need to hook up a water tank or pump to the water heater. You can simply adapt a water hose connection to the water inlet connection at the water heater. Then when you allow water to pass through the water heater that will turn on the actual heater itself. If you want to have the ability to just have cold water to go through your heater then you'll need to have a shut-off switch to prevent the unit from starting up when water flows through it. @adventuresofthememorymakers 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@brendanlg5888 that is an interesting issue as most people wish the water would get hotter. Typically the setting to get the coolest water would be to turn the hot knob to the coolest setting and the cold knob to the highest setting. That will decrease the heat and increase the water pressure which make the water flow through the heater faster, which reduces the amount of time the water spends in the heating chamber. There may be a restriction that is slowing the flow which will increase the setting. Also, I read somewhere that the Camplux stoves had high limit switch that was too high. Please let us know what it turns out to be. Thanks for watching and happy camping. BTW, we are on a 45 plus day camping trip across the country. We got 28 days of use out of a one pound cylinder.

I think this is the coolest, and it does look great. I don't think I would do this (as if I could), because I think it would likely take up the only space where I could possibly put a flexible solar panel on my camper. You mentioned cutting the 12 vdc from the camper's converter. Couldn't you have used that 12 vdc as input to your 12-48 boost converter to MPPT to recharge the battery? It would have saved the cost and space for another charger. Although I suspect it would require routing a wire from the converter dc output to the front box so you could switch that output between converter/tow vehicle/solar.
