Good alternative to having dual 20 lb tanks. It has been well over a year, and 2 winter camping seasons that the original LP tank needed to be refilled. Getting the tongue box installed and working around the propane is a challenge that this looks to help.
Nice work as always Sam. I'm thinking that if you're going to the Bushwacker Boil you might be the star of the show! @DIYOutdoorLife better watch his back! 😁
Instead of cutting and adjusting the bottom plate, could you potentially use a 3/4" rubber strip glued to the inside of the rims to provide the needed offset? I am not mechanically inclined enough to do the cutting/welding you did for yours. This is exactly what we need for our rig.
Did you say $3 or $30 for that 3/4" ring? I have looked at the smaller tanks, but the mounting brackets were over the top expensive. I have such limited space on my tongue that I have decided to just keep the 20# LP tank in the back of the pickup for now. I could probably even figure out a way to put a mount in there to keep it stable. You modz always look so nice and clean Sam! Looking good!
Thank you for sharing those very valuable mods. We have been watching your videos and we are taking inspiration from them. Very interested on the extensible rods and we already orders a few of them. The other mod we are considering is the teardrop door mod to attach the wall of awning room tent. Our teardrop has some room on the gutter but I believe it might not be enough after sewing the webbing and inserting the cord or bungee. Do you know if the RV flexible gutter with 3M adhesive would work as well? Thank you.
Thank you for watching and I am glad they are helpful. It is hard for me to say without seeing what your setup is like. Please feel free to drop us an email at Adventuresofthememorymakers@gmail.com please include a pic of the door area of your camper so I can see what your working with.
You make tanks interesting ❤

Thanks for watching Dave. The 11lb tanks really save the space. Our new box is quite large ut we have room left over now!

Thanks for watching Tom. There are a lot of nice campers that will be at the boil. We going to see you there?
@@adventuresofthememorymakers I've been considering it. We generally don't camp in that kind of heat, but it does seem like such a good time!!
Cane out great! 👍🏼
Thank you and thanks for watching.

@@boehmlauren01 that would be an option.

Thank you Julie. Well, back before everything went insane price wise that piece of ¾" strip would have been 3 dollars. It was about 4 times that now.
